I agree with this passage, but I never tried to express it at this aspect. Thank you for your replenishing to my idea.

因为方法不一,所以我没有具体指出。 比如静坐意念控制,肢体运动,导引,呼吸调节,内丹功法等,其中有些方法本身就是由于对气功的误解产生的。

Thanks Dawei -
No, I didn't mean that. I mean the meditation you mentioned there is not the type we had been talking about.

Taiji was just a term in Taoism. If you connect "Taiji" with sports, it should refer to Taiji Quan.

Because there is still a few real Qigong teachers, I believe. -

Qigong, no doubt, exists and is beneficial to people if performed well. Qigong masters, you must be cautious about them. Most of the time, distrusting a master would be right. -

The problem is: without instructions of an immortal, it is always misunderstood. So in this view, you could say it is the methods that are inherently harmful. -
气功是指通过某种方法调节体内精气神三宝,使精气充足,达到祛病延年的效果。

I said it maybe harmful, not must be. Most of the people who practiced meditation didn't get hurt. Because even there is a harm, mostly they are not so obvious to feel. I think the so-called "empty mind meditation" has the lowest risk or no risk. The "focus some points" meditation has higher risk. Anyway, both of them are useless, just wasting time for Dao. Of course, that my personal opinion(I think the opinion is mainly coming from the books). -
Meditation: 我只说最常见的形式:静坐+意念 Chi: 道家的气 和中医的 气 是一个概念,就是指运行在人体内的真气。

I am not sure, maybe physical, maybe spiritual. But anyway, for an immortal, there should be something not die, right? -
OK, that is fine.

If I call someone bad things, I would give my reason. If you don't believe, try it.
-
No, not this experience. just my own experiences and theories. What kind of benefit do you get? Can you describe it for me?
-
That is not the topic which we are talking about.

I know 深呼吸, I thought there may be some specific term meaning for deep breathing. Why you ask me such two questions? and ingore my question?
-
You mean you read some books which were written by a modern sages? Can you tell me the sages' names? "focusing on 7 chakras in one's body"? That is not good.

If we live in Dao, we will not die. That is called immortals. You think death is natural, right, but this natural is not that natural. Why people could turn old and die? Daoism had told us the reason long long ago.
