I have done my fair searching on both Alex and serge and I have never come across more people attesting to how amazing they are. Like on a whole new level amazing. Guys at rumsoaked fists, empty flower, and even some dudes on bullshido all acknowledge these to great men as the real deal. If I wasn't overseas in med school I would fly to Paris or the UK to train with one of these treasures. Trust Gerard these men are the best of the best. (would like to give a small shout out to Paul whitrod, another master I would do anything to train under) peace and blessings. P.S. I got your pm myth and would love to when I get back to the states in May. Wishing you and your sifu much blessings.

I find that there are many pathways to the same goal. It's what resonates with you thats all that matters. In Alex Kozma's book Warrior Gaurds the mountain there are many ancedotes of many master with extraordinary ability. All different practices same results. Doesn't matter what you do (to some extent), it's how you do it (with total conviction and love), then you will reach your goal. Building virtue is IMO more important than qi, jing, Shen. May you all have a blessed day. Love and blessings.

Hi just want to contribute. About the whole sperm thing. Each day about 300 million sperm complete spermatogenesis (undergoes mitosis). So technically you are making a lot os sperm each day. Our body is very amazing. No wasted energy (ATP wise I mean).

Hello to everyone! Just wanted to chim in here for a bit, it nice to see Ya Mu here also been a long time since I have seen your posts. how have you been? Anyway to the topic at hand I just wanted to chime in some of my experience with fa Jin. But before I go into that I will give a quick background of my martial experience. I am a first degree black belt in Kyokushin karate, have a blue belt under Renzo Gracie in Brazilian jujitsu and have boxed for quite some time. I also spent two years living and training in Japan training in Kyokushin. Before I started my Chen practice I have only ran into two people that I can safely say did something close to fa Jin. One was William C.C.Chen who from and inch from my chest knocked me on the ground with a small tap. I was skeptical when he was demonstrating so he chose me as the next partner lol. The second time was From George Xu in a seminar I attended at the NYC Open center. It wasn't really fa jin but he placed his arm out and asked if any one can stop him from lifting it. It was bent from the elbow so his forearm was parallel to the floor. I got into my front leaning stance and gripped as hard as I could. Also on a side note I am 6'1 and at that timed weighed 250lbs. He lifted me completely relaxed. I did not fly away or bounce around or anything but he was soft and I felt no tension from him. It was pretty cool. I guess the point of both of these accounts is that they never told me what I was going to feel and let, as in Master Xu's case, get ready in a solid stance to make sure nothing would be left for doubt. I was humbled and honored at both these encounters. I will not speak about what Gary does because I have not meet or had a chance to feel what he does. So I will make no assumptions or comments on the video. Hope that was helpful in some way. I wish you all a wonderful and beautiful day. Peace and blessings!

NeiKung Master throwdown of all showdowns
chenplayer replied to templetao's topic in General Discussion
I would agree with temple tao and say GM Doo Wai, (even though I have not practiced any of the FP qigong, I just hear only good things) I would throw Ya Mu name in the mix because of his lineage and also the great reviews he gets from most of the bums. : ) -

Just wanted to start a friendly conversation about the near fanatic (or what seems to be) obsession of Mo Pai. I will admit that when I first started to get into Qigong and Neigong I was fascinated by Kosta's story of John Chang. But now that I am older I feel like all the wanting of super powers are rather silly. I mean what is the point of it? I don't want to fly or blow up villages, I just want to feel connection with myself and the surroundings. Also to take my monkey mind, which seems to me harder than obtaining powers. Isn't all this power searching kinda the reason why Qigong in China is reduced to what it is now? Not saying that having these powers wouldn't be cool but should it be the goal? How do we even know this exsists? The whole J.C. Thing can be all made up for all we know. The best way I feel is that we should practice and help each other become better human beings. Well I hope this dosent offend anyone like I said I was once facinated by these stories, and it has lead me down this path. But now I just want to be a better me, not superman. Sending much love to you all.

Hello ancienthealth. I to am from the NYC area. I practice chen with a master that is not that expensive but only has a limited amount of classes. Don't know if you are interested, if you are you can pm me. I was curious about the SFQ, how was your overall experience with it? Did you find any of it beneficial? I know you are looking for something else because it doesn't resonate with you but I just wanted to quell my curiosity. Also Robert Peng is in the NYC are, I have never trained with him but i do hear he is kinda expensive -
Don't know if this is a good place to post this but since I have you all here..lol. I just started doing standing meditation and literally in like the first few moments I have this uncontrollable shaking in both my legs. My right and left leg alternate as if it was running in place but not really, left, right, left, right in a very fast pace. It started to get a little intense at some points. Is this a good thing? Is my Stance off? Any info would be appreciated. Sorry if I should have started a new topic but i did not want to clutter the general discussion page. Thank you for your time and input, all is appreciated.

Just wanted to ask if this is a normal phenomenon. I just started practicing standing pole and literally in the first few minutes i get this uncontrollable shaking from my legs. Its like both my right and left leg are alternating in the shaking like i am almost running in place but not really. lol. I do not know if that makes sense? Is my stance off? Is this a good or bad thing? Thank You for your time, any info would be much appreciated. -
Thank You so much Ya Mu for the response!!! I hope one of these days I get a chance to participate in a seminar of yours. Until then i will be practicing GOT I !!!!!

Thank You creation!!!! I had a huge smile when you wrote " a recollection of Grandmaster Hu by Master Feng fit for a thread about Mo Pai" Its funny how a thread starts then veers off course, by my own doing I might add. I am really enjoying every ones feed back. Like Seth said earlier I am also pleasantly surprised how interesting this thread turned out to be. This might be the tamest mo pai thread yet!!!!!

Hello Taoiseasy, I have really been enjoying your posts. I really like the one about breathe and calming the mind. I have a real hard time calming my mind and I always have thoughts running around every which way. Even when I sit down and try to get my work done my mind is always focusing on something else. It goes away when i train martial arts or when I box, but i would like to get that same clarity in my everyday life. I am currently studying medicine and have a huge work load and I find that my mind gets more in my way than anything. Do you have any advice you could possibly give me so i can control my thoughts better? I always wanted to start some sitting meditation but I have no idea where to look or how to start. I am sorry for such a noob question and I hope I am not taking away any of your time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You and lots of love!!!!!

Just on a curious side note and hopefully not de-railing this topic, I was wondering if Ya Mu has any stories concerning Hu Yaozhen, since that was his masters, master. I am very interested in Hu Yaozhen's life but there is very little info about him on the web. Also since I have been practicing GOT I i would like to know more about the lineage of what I am practicing. Thank You for all your time. Best wishes to all
