help w/understanding emotional connection with death?
jeffclist posted a topic in General Discussion
I've been questioning and prodding my fear of death lately, and I've gotten to a point where it feels like it would be refreshing to die and I'm very curious. I don't understand why I'm so emotional though - anyone who has watched "The Big Blue" might understand what I'm talking about. At the end of the movie when jacques goes out to drown himself "I have to see..." I was just balling... and it's not a painful or suffering cry, just pure emotion flowing through me. now whenever i think about death (intensely) i hit waves of emotion. and it's not fear, because it used to be fear and now it has transformed. it feels more like a growth, like it's supposed to happen. i have been practicing kunlun too but i'm not sure that has anything to do with it does anyone relate or is anyone able to understand what i'm talking about? -

hey i used to be in your situation a while ago. you are storing extra fat in your stomach because you're not using the extra energy you take in. do any athletics and the fat will go away - but if you want to gain muscle then you also need to eat a lot and lift heavy weights. as far as how subtle energies play into heavy lifting - i'm not sure, but either way you should see how your body reacts, we're all different.

I watched this a few days ago, after watching zeitgeist. An eye opener to say the least. I looked up some replies to zeitgeist and they were full of people who were trying to prove every point of the film wrong, and I got tired of reading it. I came to realize that it's easier to not believe in either side of the religious debate. I would like to know if anyone knows about the whole 'codex' and 'sustainable environment' claims of the film though.

i enjoyed the videos. opens your eyes when you think they're already opened. i'm always reminded of 'the allegory of the cave' whenever i think 'there's something else i'm not seeing here' on one of the videos, the narrarator mentioned 'dejavu' being connected with quantum physics... does anyone have any information on this? i had some CRAZY dejavu today

Hi everyone. I'm Jeff, a 23 year old male, living in boston. I've had an interest in the principle of chi and taoism for a couple years now, and so right now I've come across a question I can't seem to find an answer to. In the past few months I've been able to have orgasms without ejaculation, but my erection always seems to fade a little afterwards. According to Mantak Chia, this is called a 'retrograde ejaculation' where the semen goes into the bladder instead of ejaculating. So basically, is it possible that I've still not stopped myself correctly using PC muscles, or that everyone loses their erection at least a little after a non-ejaculatory orgasm?
