  1. Too old for Taoism ?

This thread got me to thinking how strange the mind is - mine in particular. One of my friends in elementary school started taking karate when he was 6. When I was around 9 or 10 I had an interest in taking karate too. But then I told myself that it would take me way too long to catch up to the skills of my friend. So i didn't take karate - because I told myself I was too old. Even though I was only 9 or 10 years old.
  2. energies

I can relate a little bit. Went from obsessed weightlifter to Qigong. Now you need money. I recomend learning the sedona method or release technique. For me personally if I just concentrate on Qigong - I become to stuck in my head and the rest of my life becomes unbalanced. Sedona Method releasing allows me to be the "observer". With "releasing" I find it opens up ways for the universe to bring money to me.
  3. Is violence justified

Me personally, I would be extra alert at work for the next couple of months - watch out for the cheap shot.
  4. I've never bought the course but Quantum Jumping by Burt Goldman seems to be what your looking for. From what I remember you go into a parallel universe and talk to another "you" who has allready mastered what you want to achieve. I believe Burt taught himself to become a world class artist and photographer in just six months using these techniques. Also, if you want to here music from different dimensions - check out the DNA activation stuff from Gary and Joann chambers. This stuff is pretty powerful and activates your DNA.
  5. Young Girl knowing some Tao

Cool - I think I'll put that book on my list. I've never really read a really cool Taoist book. I read a really cool Buddhist book last year called Hardcore Zen by Brad Warner. But I practice Qigong so I should find and read a cool Taoist book.
  6. Gary Clymans material looks like it could make a person pretty powerful. From what I read - if your serious you have to do 4 hours of his NeiKung a day minimum.
  7. What do you think of David Icke?

When I was reading the Kunlun threads...The impression I got from the Kunlun people - is that their is a lot of truth to the reptile stuff.
  8. Chunyi Lin recomends Tai Chi. He used to teach it in the U.S. before he switched his focus to Qigong Healing. The rule for SFQ is just to wait 30 minutes before practicing different stuff.
  9. Spring Forest Qigong is going to start certifying people in Qi Saage. To me, that would be a good moneymaker. Go to massage school - get certified as a Holistic Health Practicioner - and incorporate QiSagge and other techniques into your practice. Also I've known a few male nurses - and they all say that it is the best job in the world for picking up women...Because basically you are surrounded by frisky nurses all day. I think back in the day male nurses were considered suspect. But now a days they seem to be looked at as Casanovas because of all the women they can have if they want.
  10. Microcosmic Orbit & Tongue Position

I got my mom to start practicing SFQ small universe a few weeks ago. The other day I told her not to forget to put the tip of the tongue on the roof of her mouth. She responded with some weird excuses - that she can't do that because it messes with her TMJ, and it still works anyway..blah blah blah. So I told her at the very least have the tongue touching behind the teeth. So, if people refuse to connect the tongue....What percentage of effectiveness are they still getting? I'm thinking anywhere from 50 to 80%.
  11. Qi-Gong can definitely be an Ego enhancer

If Qigong gives people confidence - then that is always a good thing. I think before enlightenment there are usually many levels people need to go through first. First, they need to master their world and feel good about themselves...Supposedly only one in 10 million reach enlightenment. I read an interview with Tony Robbins - and he was questioning the idea of destroying the ego - and was saying "how many people have actually done that?" I mostly agree with him.
  12. Prometheus

I thought it was kind of boring and had a hard time staying awake. I was changing my sleep schedule from staying awake all night when I saw it. So, I was tired to begin with. I was hoping the movie would pump me up but it just made me want to sleep. I did manage to stay awake and practice the small universe throughout the movie - but it was rough. The day before I saw the new Adam Sandler movie on no sleep - and found that one easier to stay awake to.
  13. KUNLUN NEIGUNG METHOD

I've read a lot about Kunlun in the last month. All the videos that I read about - which had people both arguing and excited seem to be gone. I want to see one. Are their any links?
  14. I would be similar to a big powerful bad guy in the WWE. At first, I would use my powers for evil. Then, one day I would have a change of heart an become a "good guy". People would cheer me and I would save the world and defeat all the bad guys. This happened to Lex Luger
  15. Thanks. I was going to post this link in another thread, but since I'm here. I'll stay away from Buddhism for the 90 days.
  16. Ok I'm doing 90 days. Today is day 1. It could possibly be day 2 or day 3 - but I can't remember. The memory thing is a good sign that I need to do this. So, today is day 1.
  17. Porn addiction

Napoleon Hill says the best salesmen have a highly sexed nature. I take this to mean that the best salesman have lots of sex. He also hints at using sexual energy and directing it towards goals and constructive activities. So, I guess a "highly sexed" salesman would even have more charisma if he never ejaculated. I don't know - when I practice lots of Qigong people are attracted to my "peaceful" energy. When I don't ejaculate I can be moody and aggressive. "Qigong charisma" and "sexual energy" charisma seem like two different things.
  18. Dealing with people with extreme lower energy

    Check this out. http://www.eckharttolle.com/newsletter/june-2010
  19. Say the word Rosy Rosy Rosy over and over. It will turn into Zero Zero Zero. When it does you will get confused and not be able to keep saying it over and over. Very weird.
  20. AAAAAAHHH!!! That was cool and fucking annoying! Did they do that for 10 minutes straight?
  21. Dealing with people with extreme lower energy

I think surrendering, accepting the person as they are, and feeling love for someone are all basically the same thing. When you surrender to the moment without trying to escape it - you are in a state of love. When you accept someone as they are you are loving them and the present moment. Eckhart Tolle talks about surrendering to the "pain body". When you encounter nasty people - sometimes your pain body gets activated. When you surrender to this feeling, without trying to escape it - something changes in you - and many times the other person. If you don't surrender to these kinds of moments - they will keep happening again and again until you do.
  22. I'm a big fan of "sh". In junior high I would get half of the class to say "shhh". And then get the other have to say "it" right after.
  23. Dealing with people with extreme lower energy

If you're familiar with Lester Levensons work...Negative emotions are Apathy, Grief, Fear, Lust, Anger, and Pride - in that order. Positive emotions are courageousness, acceptance, and Peace - in that order. So, you always want to at least be at the level of courageousness - so that means staying grounded, not running away and protecting yourself if you have too. People like this are vibrating mostly from the level of anger...So in a strange way they are vibrating at a higher level then people who are constantly afraid and in fear. This is why some martial artists will say that it is better to hit someone then to run away. So I would say all your answers are correct. Surrender to the moment, accept the other person as they are, and fight back if absolutely necessary.
  24. Bully Karma

For the most part karma doesn't have to be figured out. Yes, the Tsunami happened because that is what the earth does, and has been doing that for millions of years. Probably on some deep level the people that died from the earthquake were volunteers, and were paying some kind of karma. But it doesn't matter. If you're are walking down the street and some crazy person is beating a bunch of people up, the logical thing to do is to stop that person. Someone shouldn't say "Well that's just their karma - and not do anything". So for the most part I think karma doesn't need to be figured out. But at the same time when you know how cause and effect works - you can come to insights about your life and make corrections.
