All lucid dreaming techniques taught in prison - must be taught by video only. No exceptions.
-
I think prison rape would go down dramatically - if Lucid Dreaming were taught in prisons.

That money has to be earned is just a belief. If people "believe money comes through just hard work" that is what they will experience. Money can come to you in multiple different ways. If you "believe" you don't deserve the money - you will create that reality.
-
I think the white and dark magic thing are basically beliefs that could effect the outcome of our manifestations. If we believe something we are trying to manifest is wrong or dark magic than this will be a hindrance - because we "believe" that what we are trying to manifest is wrong. The universe doesn't interfere with what we are doing. You can see this with 911. These people kept this thought in mind for a long time and eventually produced it. But you are right in a sense - because everything we do has consequences - so if we manifest the "wrong" things then we could eventually have to deal with some karma. So the trick is to try and manifest only "good" things. Because anything can be manifested wheather it is right or wrong.

Michael Mohoric is doing his free monthly hour long distance healing this Sunday. http://qigongenergyhealing.blogspot.com/ All you have to do is use your intention and the energy starts flowing to you immediatly. You can also follow the instructions to put pets and family members on the energy. When you accept the energy it starts flowing to you - and he does periodic unscheduled energy transmissions - followed by the one hour main session on Sunday. I've used his services since 2007. The energy is intelligent and flows where it needs to go - so you don't have to worry about the energy getting tangled with your current routine. I've asked him about this - and have found this to be true.
-
Sometimes I might not think I really notice anything - but then a few days after the healing I won't feel as smooth - I will crave junkfood - and that is when I realize that I felt a difference. When I'm on the energy for a month - I crave less bad stuff - have better habits - and my brainwaves feel slower, making me smarter. Michael says when you are on the energy - it is the equivalent to practicing many hours of qigong a day. So did anyone else notice anything? Or not notice anything?
-
Haha. I liked the part afterward where Bill Murray opens the refigerator real slowly and goes "Oh my God! Look at all the junkfood. You actually eat this stuff?" So today I finally went out and bought the supplies to clean the fridge and it cost me $42. So I really am going to clean it out tomorrow. Hopefully I won't hear a voice that says "Zool"!

TTB weekly trancendental meditation experiment
chi 2012 replied to starhawk's topic in General Discussion
TaoBums million dollar experiment. Everybody visualize a million dollars coming into their lives for one minute a day. After 3 months I take a 20% cut of all the money since I thought of the idea. Yeah - I'm interested too. The above was sort of a joke. But it can happen. A few years ago Steve Pavlina had a similiar million dollar experiment going - and people were manifesting all kinds of money. -
Spirituality is having no beliefs. With "no beliefs" we can be in the moment and actually see what is. In another thread I just posted a link to a book that talks about this. http://www.scribd.com/esdfs/d/39063815-Misita-How-to-Believe-in-Nothing-and-Set-Yourself-Free Awesome book that most people have never heard of.

What do isolated/enlightened people dream about?
chi 2012 replied to Everything's topic in General Discussion
I just remembered that I read about the guy who recorded his dreams in a book called "How to believe in Nothing and Set yourself free" buy a guy named Michael Misita. http://www.scribd.com/esdfs/d/39063815-Misita-How-to-Believe-in-Nothing-and-Set-Yourself-Free This is an awesome book by the way. Here is what he wrote: Almost one hundred years since the publication of Freud's classic "Interpretation of Dreams," dream work is receiving widespread recognition as a valuable technique for learning more about the self rather than being dismissed as merely phantasms of the sleeping brain. For example, there are professional dream organizations; movies with dream themes are raking in millions; bookstore shelves are filled with dream books, and magazine articles on working with dreams have become almost monthly fare. During the passionate embrace of altered-state-of-consciousness work in the 1960s, one study paid a young man a full-time salary to record his dreams over the span of a year. He settled into a small mobile home and set out to record his nightly encounters. With some practice, he was recording up to one hundred pages of material a day. What became incredibly clear was that the source of his nightly excursions was the experience of awareness. A particular form of dreaming, lucid dreaming, offers us a direct link to the experience of pure consciousness. The ultimate self-awareness experience in sleep is knowing you are dreaming while you are dreaming, yet this is but another bridge to even higher levels of consciousness. Although dreams are the psyche's deepest imagery generating system, we can also benefit through the conscious application of imagery experienced in creative visualization. Jeanne Achterberg, president of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, draws a line from the image to the immune system to support a neurological relationship between the image and the body's maintenance of health. Pointing to the central role of emotions in both imagery and disease, she states, "Verbal messages must undergo translation by the imagery system before they can be understood by the involuntary or autonomic nervous system and related components. Thanks Eagle and Cat. I'm going to take your advise and go and buy the supplies tomorrow. I've been putting this off long enough. Although sucky - doing the little things like cleaning out smelly regrigerators is what makes the world a better place.

I've decided to cut back on my Qigong practice a little bit - because I have noticed I have been using it as sort of a discraction to avoid facing other areas of my life. I was re reading some of my Hardcore Zen book by Brad Warner and he said that people who practice Zazen all day end up becoming even more imbalanced in their life. I think it's true in once sense - that the more Qigong you do the better - but in my case I just haven't reached the point where I can afford to do this. I once saw on a website the term "Chi Nerd" and I think it was basically saying that a "Chi Nerd" is someone who does to much Qigong and not enough other stuff.

What do isolated/enlightened people dream about?
chi 2012 replied to Everything's topic in General Discussion
I read about a study where a guy was supposed to record his dreams. After a while the guy got so good at doing this - that he literally spent the whole day writing down all his dreams in detail. Ken Wilber is a big fan of staying "awake" while sleeping. He thinks people aren't enlightened unless they can do this. -
I see this thread has had over 400 views. That would be awesome if all 400 people accepted the energy. Has anybody noticed anything yet? Tomorrow is the hour long session - but most people should feel a little different by now.
-
Yeah - I was thinking about this more today. Time management seems to be one of my problems. Funny thing is when I was big into bodybuilding over 10 years ago - I was a lot more structured. I need to work on my time management. But I do think to become a legitimate Qigong master you do have to drop out of society for a little while. Jim Nance said for his training he had to give up a material life - and Chunyi Lin did cave meditation in China. But I do think you're right that by keeping up the length of my practice - that I can build up my energy to a higher level.

sleeping qigong/shui gong teachers in USA?
chi 2012 replied to Dreamwalker's topic in Daoist Discussion
Chunyi Lin teaches sleeping and walking Qigong in his Level one course. It's pretty simple - it's just basically breathing into the lower dantien and releasing all blockages as smoke to the universe. -
sleeping qigong/shui gong teachers in USA?
chi 2012 replied to Dreamwalker's topic in Daoist Discussion
I think Qigong teachers that are awake are the best. -
Yeah - the universe just doesn't allow for people do be everything and do everything all at the same time. I think it would one day be awesome to train to be a qigong master - I haven't ruled that out as a posibility one day. But to do that you basically have to drop out of society for a while. This is what Jim Nance did - and he would just practice Qigong all day. But I have to eliminate all distractions not just over doing the Qigong. So this includes being a "Internet Nerd" and "TaoBum Nerd" too.

Chunyi Lin answers your questions here. http://www.facebook.com/SpringForestQigong Check out his 4th post on down.

For the people that accepted the energy yesterday - they may allready notice something. I encourage everyone to sign up to his newsletter - so you will always get the info about the week long free session. Also his facebook page has good info and keeps people informed http://www.facebook.com/Qigong.Distant.Energy.Healing

Right - I agree. But sometimes Qigong can give people bad experiences. I've read about some on this site. When this happens people need to stay grounded - or else they are perfect prey for some people - and will get brainwashed and disregard Qigong in its entirety.
