Looks like Obomber is going to use today's shooting to create a constitutional crisis

Well Obama did save the country from another Great Depression. The Libertarian fantasy where the U.S. just sits back and does nothing is just a theory that isn't practical. if you look at the big picture the U.S. has probably had 4 good Presidents in the last 60 years. Obama, Clinton, Reagan, and JFK....JFK prevented a nuclear war from happening and Reagan ended the Cold War. -
Yeah I think there's something too that. In Gary Clyman's ChiKung Bible he talks about having a hard time getting women to keep appointments - and says they are less likely to follow through....Also I heard Ken Wilber mention something in a talk about how men like to approach spirituality through practices like Zazen - where they just stare at walls and stuff - where as women take a different approach and are more heart based.

I just got back from visiting my parents...I was planning on putting my mom on a Qigong program to heal her physical problems....She wouldn't listen to me - and we argued all weekend....I think she is more spiritual than me though....She fights me on Qigong though...

Turtle Shell - You said your cultivation practice has given you insights to the conspiracy stuff. Is this from Kunlun practice? I've read where the kunlun people have said something to the effect - that the David Icke reptile/illuminati theories are real on some level...Can you give us any more insight? -

Jesse is an ENTJ. ENTJs are best designed to be Presidents and dictators. For some strange reason the U.S. hasn't had an ENTJ president for quite some time. Obama is an ENTP. Romney was an ENTJ - but was an a 3 on the enneagram - making him a little more likable than than an enneagram 8 ENTJ. Most ENTJs are 8's. -
Yeah the whole cave meditation in full lotus is beyond my comprehension....That's crazy shit.

Has anybody else noticed that the last 2 shooters were INTPs? Under the Myers Briggs/ Jung theory - every person is one of 16 different personality types. The 4 NT types are considered to be the most intelligent - but the N function is used to see possibilities - and sometimes becomes disconnected from reality and doesn't see "what is" like the sensors do. Combine this with cold hard logic - these types can commit the worst murders when they go bad. Examples ENTP - Columbine Shooter Erik Harris, Arizona Shooter Jared Loughner , and Afghan Shooter Robert Bales INTP - Sandy Hook and Aurora shooters The NTJ's are a little more systematic with their murders........ ENTJ - Aldolph Hitler and Saddam Hussien INTJ - The unabomber. -

Ok...My 2 cents....I think the Sandy Hook and Colorado shooters acted on their own with no conspiracy whatsoever. I was looking for some links that I can't currently find - but it was an article on Sweden - on how they actually do have pretty strict gun control...The gun owners are required to report every 6 months - on their reason for owning a gun. I think the U.S. should go in a similar direction....No need to ban guns....But force people to be more responsible....Every 6 months - gun owners should have to answer a questioner...Just basic questions such as are they keeping their guns secure......are they not leaving them lying around etc.....Sure, most people will just lie on the questioner - but it doesn't matter.... When I collected unemployment back in the day - I had to answer a questioner every 2 weeks asking if I looked for worked....Sure I lied some weeks - but it kept me on my toes.....Stricter gun control will do the same thing. Also the shooters mom didn't need to be owning a bunch of AR 15's....There was actually a ballot measure that was defeated in Conn. before the shooting that would of banned such weapons.....I'm not sure if they should be banned outright - but stricter and better gun control would have allowed the mom to own a gun that was more in line with her needs. With every so called "bad" thing that happens - there is always a greater good that comes out of it. I think in the future some responsible citizens might finally gun down one of these nutjobs. I also think the "Guard at every school" would be a good thing. So, I think both sides are somewhat right - and some compromises are going to be needed. -

There's some strange stuff in this thread. I haven't watched all the videos yet - but it looks like conspiracy theory stuff - similar to 911 being staged and the moon landing being a hoax. -
Call me a hero worshiper or whatever - but I think Chunyi Lin is qualifies as as being "hard". Grew up during the cultural revolution where he was separated from his family - was abused and had guns pointed at him. Worked 16 hour days as a slave for 7 years after highschool. During this time he risked his life catching poisonous snakes to sell - just so he could buy food and not starve to death.

I read a good book once by Jerry Stocking called "How to win by Quitting" .Most people are brainwashed into believing that they should never quit anything or give up....But if something isn't working or a change in direction is needed the best thing to do is just to say "fuck it - I quit".

I didn't know Lesley Vincent left SFQ. That's weird. -
From the title I thought Drew started doing yoga or something.

Law of attraction has been watered down too much. People need to keep their mind on their "image" at all times - the same way some people here focus on their dantien all day. If the mind wanders - bring it back - forcefully if need be. Most people have too many screwed up patterns and unconscious beliefs to just visualize something - and then "let go". Although I think most spiritual practices can get people to the point where they can visualize and then "let go".

My intuition told me to bump this again during my meditation. Don't forget to put pets on the energy. Animals get blockages too and they like the energy.

I've read Clyman's Chi Kung Bible at least 3 times in the last year...I think it's a must read. It motivated me to get more serious about my practice and do more standing SFQ exercises to build up my energy. It also put together many puzzle pieces that I knew intuitively - but wasn't sure about.
