I considered 2013 - but the number 13 is bad news. Plus, I didn't know if 3 and 1/2 months would be enough advanced notice. Also the world might end at the end of 2012. Or I might ascend to a higher plane - and won't be around for 2013. Lots of reasons why 2013 wouldn't work out.

Money sent. I support internet scammers in this economy. Try and invest it in a good online Ponzi scheme - and maybe we can share the profits. Try and get Sinfest to send you some of his money from his government checks. It's not hard to figure out that people with over 2000 posts in a forum are either living on free gov't money or internet scammers. I support both - and may or may not have been doing the same thing in a previous life.

I want to change my name to chi 2014. But not untill January 1, 2014. I think people should give plenty of notice ahead of time....So I'm giving about 15 and 1/2 months notice.

Can I have a personal practice journal?

I challenge Sinansencer to a personal practice Qigong battle. But only if he promises not to punch himself too much. -
If you buy those energy/alcohol drinks and drink them before bed - it takes you straight to the lower astral and you will have nightmares all night. I don't drink them anymore....I think they were also forced to take the caffeine out because people were dying. So they probably aren't as strong.............Just alcohol and a bunch of Ginseng.

My Grandpa told me once when I was a little kid - that he was lying in bed and looking at the ceiling. He said one of those little white popcorn ceiling pebbles fell and landed in his eyeball. How did that happen - and what are the chances?

Hi TheTaoisEasy, I saw on a post a while back someone asked you about doing the Small Universe(MCO) to fall asleep....I think you might of answered but edited it before I could read it. I've been falling asleep like this for many years... For quite a few years I just did small universe...mainly just to keep healthy. Usually lying down. I don't think I really built up any chi doing this...But I could feel and hear stomach blockages disolving while doing this....and also heart blockages going away. One time in about 2007 - when I was very unbalanced....I woke up after a night of drinking RedBull and vodka.....I think I had a blood clot in my heart....And when I tried to get up I felt the clot get more intense.....So I just laid there and did small universe for about 3 hours...and I felt the blood cot go away. So I think small universe saved my life once. So, I always see people saying that MCO is an advanced exercise....I think the small universe version might be different....While I don't think it really builds up energy done lying down - I do think it has good health benefits....and can be done all day without causing problems. But to really build up your energy with it - I think you need to do it cross legged or lotus. Today I did it for 45 minutes cross legged and was shaking like crazy - with energy shooting throughout my body....I would say it is about 100 times stronger doing it cross legged versus lying down.

Cool. What does it mean by practicing after standing poses? Would performing these stretches after my SFQ active exercises be a good enough warm up? -

Damn my computer is so slow today - videos taking forever. I saw a post on here once from a while back - where people were wearing some device on their balls....and it was kicking their sex drive into overdrive. Does anybody know what this device is? -
Myers Briggs INTJ. Enneagram either 5w6, 6w5, or very small chance of 1w9. For instinctual variant of enneagram I see social variant being first or second.......Maybe SP,SO,SX.....or SO,SX,SP.....something like that.
-
Actually your way ahead of me on the facial diagnosis thing. I think I've read some of the stuff you mention above - but I usually forget it. I've casually studied the enneagram and Myers Briggs for the last 10 years....and sometimes Visual Identification does come into play when i type people. I can usually get someone's Enneagram or Myers Briggs type - or both - within a few minutes of meeting them. Sometimes it takes longer. Paul Ryan seems to be one of those people - where his personality is a lot different then the way he looks. I keep seeing these pictures of him - where he looks all peaceful(Enneagram 9) with his sensitive eyes and everything - but it's just an illusion. I read an article where somebody said in High School he was Prom King and a brown noser....Enneagram 3 is a very common type for politicians....I've typed Obama, Romney, and Paul as 3's.....while Joe Biden is a seven. Sevens are the funnest type - so look for him to be the most interesting one during the debates. As for Visual Identification when typing.....Usually if someone has piercing eyes, or hawk eyes, or beattie eyes, they are usually a sensor in the Myers Briggs system....mostly thinking sensors....like ESTJ, ESTP, ISTP, ISTJ....these 4 types tend to be young souls too....Like to be called Sir.....and identify with status symbols like Rank and titles.....Overweight jolly outgoing people are usually ESFP....they like food, people, and the females are usually very promiscous....Female ESFPs usually have naturally big breasts also. I have other little visual indicators that I use when typing people in the 2 systems....but most are rather strange. Socionics has some good info on typing people by their facial features and appearance. I also sometimes blood type people and can make a connection between blood type and the other 2 types. For example if someone says they never could eat much meat...they are usually blood type A...and with that I could narrow down their Myers Briggs type to a few types............ I can type people on message boards too....even though I've never seen or met them.....For example Sinfest might seem like an enneagram 7 on this board......but no......he's a type 9 all the way..........I'd bet my last dollar on it. You can see the difference in Enneagram types with different Qigong teachers........For example Gary Clyman - total type 8.....and Chunyi Lin - a type 9.
-
Paul Ryan looks like an Enneagram 9 with a one wing in that picture. Don't be fooled though....He's an image concious enneagram 3 just like Romney and Obama.

I'll read the book....I'm not going to let Michael Brown or anybody tell me what to do Haha. I know where he is getting at though. I used to listen to paraliminals and NLP hypnosis tapes before social occasions. They work big time - but I always end up being too cocky and end up offending someone after using them. A sort of weird instant bomerang effect. When I increased my Qigong to about 4 or 5 hours a day last month - I had a few days where I just felt really strange in social situations....I think all my bad social conditioning came out at once. Now, I feel pretty awesome everywhere I go - now that I opened up a bunch of channels. So, for the most part I think doing intense Qigong training fixes most social stuff. I feel connected to everybody I communicate with - and just don't feel the need for approval at the same time. -

It's funny you mention the Dale Carnegie book. I've always have wanted to read that book - but never got around to it. A guy named Michael Brown has developed a process called "The Presence Process" which I also want to dive into one day....I was just reading his website the other day and he mentioned Dale Carnegie when answering a question about manipulating the personality to make sales. http://presenceprocessquestions.blogspot.com/2009/07/will-presence-process-help-me-sell.html This is his partial answer to a question: A: Personally, I cannot enter sales work. I cannot even do book signing in a book store. So, you are talking to the wrong person. I do not believe in the manipulation of others for personal benefit. Dale Carnegie is a creep. This is why I developed the tool, "Navigating Our Experiences" - available free on the Writings page. It is based on navigating our experience - not on the manipulation of others. Your email is timely. I have a friend who adjusts their personality for whomever is in front of them depending on what it is they wish to portray, or what they wish to get out of the encounter. To me this is parasitic. It is "importing a manufactured self" for each occasion - or self-importing - or self-importance. It recently became clear to me [again!], that if I entertain those who behave in this manner, I too become this way. -

It's the sign of being an old soul. Old souls somehow know that everything most people care about really doesn't mean crap. But don't dwell to much on the old soul stuff.....because it could slow your evolution - give you an ego problem...and next thing you know - the young souls have passed you up. -
Hi Fu_dog. I practice a different Qigong - but this question might be of relevance to the FP practicioners who bodybuild. Does the massive eating and protein consumption needed for bodybuilding - interfere or take away some of the effects of practicing 2 or more hours of Qigong a day? My bad. I thought FuDog was Sifu Terry....Anybody is free to answer this question though.

Excessive masturbation or ejaculation does cause one to have a temporary reduction in testosterone - and to feel somewhat lethargic for a few days. In most cases this isn't that big of a deal because the body recovers in a few days. The real problem is when the body doesn't recover and people have these symptoms permanetly. I have friends that have never used steroids and are on TRT replacement for the rest of their lives. There doctors just tell them they have a medical condition and need to be on hormones. The question is - why do these peoples systems permenatly shut down? I think guys like Dr. Lin are correct and the reason this happened is because of excessive ejaculation. Now Western Medicine has produced studies - showing that ejeculation causes testosterone to drop for a short period of time. What Western Medicine hasn't considered yet - is that the reason these males that need to be on hormones - is because they have exceded their "ejaculation limit". I don't think having sex or beating off 20 times in a weekend is going to permantly shut down a male for life unless the person has reached their "lifetime ejaculation limit". For the most part after a weekend like this - the male will feel tired and lethargic for a few days - but should recover. As far as what an individuals "lifetime ejaculation limit" is? I think it depends on an individuals natural genetic hormonal make up. I would say hairy guys with male pattern baldness and naturally high testosterone levels have a much higher limit then "pretty boy guys" who have naturally lower hormone levels. So, since nobody really knows what their limit is - it is best to not beat off more than a couple times a week - and just save it for sex.....why take the chance. Then, if the oppurtunity comes along to sleep with Jessica Alba 20 times in a weekend comes up - they can do it. Sure, they are taking a small risk of a permenant shutdown....but if they haven't reached their limit they will feel better in a few days.
