What do you feel like after the 28 minute Chi Kung session.? Does it pump you up full of chi for the whole day?
-
Disabled - you got the "eye fuck look"(no homo). Do you eat during the day? I've experimented with modified versions of the warrior diet - and might go back to that when I start lifting again....It's just not the best for muscle mass. Also what is your blood type? I have a really good book called "For Your Body Only" by Dr. Gregory H Tefft. Since I have blood type A - I'm supposed to eat mostly plants, with yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs, and just a little meat. You look like you might be blood type O or B..... Both types need a lot of meat - but type O's need a ton of meat.

For me, to have the look where I get "eye fucked" everywhere I go - I need to eat at least 5 times a day and take in around 200 grams of protien a day. Weightlifting is the fun and easy part...eating is the part that is a pain in the ass. When I practice Qigong I like to practice on an empty stomach....and if I am practicing a lot I don't like eating much at all...and do occasional apple fasts. But I want to start lifting again....So I think the solution is to do a super long Qigong session first thing in the morning on an empty stomach - 2 to 3 hours minimum. Then, I can go into weightlifter mode the rest of the day and eat my food. I can also add an extra hour of Qigong in the evening when I'm less full. So, I think the really big key is to knock out a big Qigong session first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.....Then you can work on getting buff the rest of the day.

It's common for men now a days in their 20's, 30's, and 40's, to have a sudden drop in their libido...and after taking tests showing that their testosterone is low - they are put on TRT for the rest of their lives. About 10 years ago a guy named Dr. Lin bombarded the internet - and made the claim that the reason for this is because of excessive ejaculation/masturbation. Most medical doctors says this is nonsense. But a few have agreed with Dr. Lin. So the big question is - is Dr. Lin correct or not?

I can only sit about 40 minutes cross legged....and am currently emphasizing standing movements. But, I think in a few weeks I'm going to start working on my cross legged and half lotus while watching movies. I think the distraction will help me build up my time. I can sit in a chair and do MCO for an hour and I get antsy....But, I can sit in a movie theatre for 2 1/2 hours and do MCO and I don't get antsy. I'd really like to sit cross legged and half lotus at movie theatres....But the crazy guy from Colorado probably ruined that option for me....Weird behavior at movie theatres is probably frowned upon now because of him.

I think these teachers mean well - but have it backwards. Maybe they don't know about some of the good, safe, Qigong programs available.

Sweet....I think Qigong can clear pretty much all blockages....But it takes a lot of time and effort.....I would say even the most mentally and physicaly healthy people of the world - still have deep blockages that they have burried deep down - and that they don't even know they have these blockages.

I'm trying to do a 75/25 ratio of standing to sitting Qigong. I definatly feel a differance with a lot of standing. The first two exercises in SFQ are standing exercises with no movements - but they are only a couple of minutes each. I read where Chuyni Lin said he would of liked to make these exercises longer - but people like movement. So I've been trying to do these for a longer duration. Also if you do choose SFQ - I would recomend buying the course through Learning Strategies....When you do this - you get free coaching for life - and can get more detailed instruction for your condition if you ask them for it.

Since I increased my Qigong practice to about 5 hours a day about a month ago - I've been having very vivid dreams - and have been able to to recognize the meanings of my dreams somewhat....This has made me kind of weird in a way - because to every problem in life - the only solution I see is to just practice more Qigong. I want to tell everybody I see to "practice as much Qigong as you can". Problem is hardly anybody in the world practices Qigong at all. Also there are two kinds of men you can never trust. Those who don't drink - and those who practice the horse stance.

A while ago I saw either a post or an ad for a drum instructor. I remember he is located in the Los Angeles area....He teaches a form of spiritual drumming....I think it said he was involved in acting or theatre before his drumming career....I thought I saved the link to his site but can't find it.....Does anybody know who this person is?

I'm at the end of day 13 of no ejaculation. I said in a thread a while back(don't remember which one) I was going to do 100 days. When I got to about day 8 I screwed it up a few times. Now I'm on day 13 and have figured it out now. I'm going to do 30 days first - then re-evaluate if I want to do 100.
-
I've been doing a ton of SFQ for about a month. I've been emphasizing the standing exercises the most - doing at least 3 hours a day - and around 2 hours of meditation. I've had some weird days because of the changes. For a couple days I had some real weird social anxiety - And when I tried to talk I would either stutter or sound stupid. Also a couple days - I couldn't think very good - and would spell words wrong when typing. I've also had anger while practicing. All of this is good stuff though. It means the body is re-organizing at a higher level at a very rapid pace.

Hi thanks. I practice Spring Forest Qigong and when I'm not practicing that - I use Sedona Method releasing for my awareness training - and try and stay present. I have dabbled a little in Zazen too. Sometimes I wonder if I should check out KAP or Kunlun - just to see if these practices are more powerful. Most people seem to be biased toward what they practice - so when I read your post I figured I'd pick your brain since you have observed a lot. Good answer and thanks.

If you were an unawakened person - and wanted to practice. What system would you choose to practice right now?

I sent a PM to Clarity once and asked if I could have a free reading. I didn't think he responded at first - but then I checked a thread I started - I think it was "Bully Karma". In the thread he said he did a clearing for me and my mother. So it might of looked like he did it out of nowhere - but I had PM'd him first. Do I notice anything afterwards? I'm not sure. I've known about the Yuen for quite a while...And one day will probably have a full session and would like to learn it. My intuition tells me there is something to YM. I think to probably get the best results from YM - people should dive into it and clear up a bunch of areas. Because - like a plate dispenser - when one area is cleared up - another one pops up and takes its place.

Does anybody know if Jenny Lamb can see if you have an entity - like through a phone reading? Or do you have to see her personally?

I just read where 21 people were treated for 2nd and 3rd degree burns - after walking on hot coals at an Anthony Robbins event. I thought he has been doing the firewalk at his events since the mid 80's. Why would a bunch of people suddenly get burned? Also if there was a risk - you think he would of learned from what happened to James Ray.
-
I guess the 21 who got burned must not of "psyched themselves up correctly"? I have a book called "Spiritual Growth is not what you think" by Doyle Barnett. In the book he said he once went to one of these firewalks with 200 other people. He said while everyone else was pumping themselves up before the walk - he was thinking negative thoughts. He then walked across the coals and didn't get burned. He then walked across a few more times - and at one point slowed down to unzip his jacket. He said there was nothing mystical or mental about it. A few months later he asked his friends if they would do the firewalk again. They said they would only if they could go through the same mental, emotional, and spiritual preparation beforehand. They told him this even after Doyle told him he didn't do any mental preparation. So I don't know. I've never done a firewalk. I've always wanted to though.

I had a lot of reptiles as a kid. I had a boa that used to strike at me - because he thought I was food. Sort of gave me anxiety for a while. I notice when I go to reptile stores - the people that work there give me a weird vibe. Many of the people are loaded with tattoos and kind of creepy. I get the same vibe from tattoo parlors. I visited one recently - and they had a huge monitor lizard kept in a cage. So, I've always sort of sensed a "vibe" around reptiles and people that keep them as pets. This has nothing to do with Kunlun by the way....I'm just talking about real reptiles in general.

Gary Clyman could be UFC champion if he wanted too...Haha. I think all athletes would benefit from any kind of Qigong. A few months ago after practicing a ton of SFQ - I went out to hit golf balls - and I was driving the ball a mile. So this should translate into any skill - like throwing punches. A person who practices Medical Qigong will be more cordinated, intuitive, and stronger after practicing. So I think people are wrong when they say medical Qigong doesn't improve fighting ability. -
This is a weird question. My goal is to start practicing qigong in nature as much as I can. Since animals are attracted to Chi and I practice Qigong with my eyes closed....What are the chances of getting attacked by a wild animal while practicing? Because of this thought - I usually try and practice on a rock - or someplace that is elevated.
-
It seems that when people have Qigong master type Chi - that animals will approach them - and be friendly. Peter Ragnar has talked about how bears will come to his house and drop off the cubs - and the mother bear will go have some alone time - while Peter watches the cubs. I read on Michael Lomax's blog where he was chased by a wild dog while jogging - and when he finally turned around for the confrontation - the dog licked him and he made it a pet. I was stationed in Alaska for a year - and everyone always brought a gun into the woods - because there is always a chance of a grizzly bear attack. So, I don't think I'd practice around Grizzly bears. Where I live now, the only threats would be bobcat's, coyotes, wild dogs, and wild pigs. I've read where the bobcat population is getting bigger - and confrontations with humans is increasing. Also occasionaly in California coyotes attack people. So, I think there is always a small threat - but very unlikely to happen. I'll just use my instinct and common sense. So besides places that have Grizzly bears or maybe wolves - I don't see a big threat. I probably wouldn't practice in the jungle either. I read where Drew Hempel wrote on his blog once that someone was practicing in the jungle and got eaten by a tiger.

Kundalini After-Care: Now What?
chi 2012 replied to Disabled Not Broken's topic in General Discussion
I know David Hawkins has said that after he became enlightened - that he had to stop meditating - because the bliss would become to intense - and he wouldn't bey able to function in society. So, maybe you've had all the experiences you need - and now the universe just wants you to focus on boring mundane stuff. Maybe in past lives you meditated all day in caves and just don't need this stuff anymore.....I'm probably wrong - just throwing something out there.
