It looks very graceful. But other than being graceful, what is it good for? I am from a different background and don't understand these exercises. Is it for health and to concentrate the mind?

After you get sprayed once, I doubt you will want to do it again, let alone a third time. Nobody wants to rub chili in their eyes, over and over again.

What would it feel like to let go and disappear into death? Knowing that what you think you are will become no more? Sorry for the morbid question, just some insights during meditation that I wanted to get feedback on.

I think death would be like sleep. You just find yourself in another dream.

Dreambliss what if asking for something brings more suffering compared to before? Is it worth getting what you want when it just increases your problems? Dreambliss, some people win a lot of money and say they wish it never happened.

I don't believe there are absolutes in relation to Good vs Bad, as they all reside as a matter of perspective.

No reason to resist Christianity. Exoteric Christianity is for the masses. Esoteric Christianity is for the select few who have a burning desire to go deeper. Christian monks still practice these secret practices as they always have. It is far more than just going to church, reading a few lines in the Bible and then singing some songs. My question is, are you trying to gain material things with spiritual practices? You will gain spiritual things with spiritual practices, which are far more precious than any worldly thing. To give you another perspective on original sin. You're not inherently sinful at your core. Original sin is just a story of pointing to the reason why you're suffering now. Because YOU, (not Adam and Eve), judge things to be good and evil.

Interesting to know what would happen. I really had an intuitive feeling that I would leave the body, with no chance of return. The first time it happened I pulled away, the second time I was looking after some dependent animals and I couldn't allow them to suffer if I left. Maybe it was just a subconscious reaction though.

Better to be kind out of self interest than cruel? Maybe they are kind and helpful as its in their nature to act that way?

Only twice during meditation have I felt that if I continued I would actually die. Its a really strange intuitive feeling.

I wonder if its true though. Being lost in the formless, the physical body dissolves into pure light. The pristine purity of the mind being like space.
