lesser banishing ritual/the middle pillar

I don't really like this idea. How would you know if your energy was being used for negative purposes, if its a two way valve? -

Got me too. RE: The Edit timer. I was like 'fuck this' -
It can't be known by the intellect. Understand that material things may bring you happiness, but they are transient and the happiness will not be lasting. You're not who you think you're. Examine this statement again and see it literally.

All your pain and suffering is 'now', hence why its not attractive. Dealing with it one can be free.

Its valid to desire anything you want. Just be prepared for any consequences and attachments it brings. That's the thing. You don't need any transient thing to be happy. The nature of your own mind right now is 'it'. 'It' never leaves you. Desiring for things in the future that some believe will lead them to happiness is just taking them away from 'being' now.

Zen trained Adyashanti (you can look him up on Youtube), says be what you want. I can see the connection with your writing. You were 'being' your characters and making the connection for it to appear. I don't know much at all about magic. I have found from experience that it can be dangerous as what you want might not be what you need. If it doesn't come from a balanced state, it can lead to more suffering for yourself in the long run.

The very act of trying to practice not grasping is a form of grasping. The reaction is the same whether there be thoughts or no thoughts. The reaction is the same in both instances.

The conceptual cannot accurately talk about the non-conceptual, because its essence is not based on concepts. -

I have read this persons writing before. Its valid, but just not what I prefer. It doesn't ring true with me, so I will not take on these beliefs of his. -

Meditation On The Nature Of Thoughts/Appearances

I remember reading Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, he pointed too, it didn't matter if one was experiencing heaven or hell, the realisation was the same. This very much helps one to stop grasping for difference states, that ultimately are transient. I will try and find the quote in his book as I think this point is very important.- 18 replies

for thouse in the usa or other western areas were this is different?

The need to wear some type of cloths that is different from those around you, normally points to being self identified with some particular thing. People who self identify as 'Hippies' are more inclined to wear hippie clothing than someone who isn't self identified as a hippie.
