I cannot edit my post on the first page.

The majority of postings in one week is done by a small handful of members. All other members are either lurkers or inactive. I fear more will become lurkers and inactive as this place of information sharing becomes more lifeless and stale.

Better to allow posts which cause insult and rile up to be edited and deleted then keeping them there for all to see. You have to be very careful what you write on the internet in today's environment, and it is much safer to be able to edit a post if you posted in an unbalanced state of mind.

Is this change in response to a forum member getting upset with member 'friend' actions? As far as I'm aware nobody except this member had a problem with it. Why not put it up to a vote?
