most of the systems on here seem to definitely do -something-. but seeing some kind of result isn't always a good thing, you could just be screwing yourself up -

read a book on dreamwork by someone who had a conversation with this person. he seems to be, if not highly advanced, advanced enough to know about concepts that i know about at my current level of progress

Is there information about Male Haircare (long hair) in Taoism?
Flolfolil replied to 4bsolute's topic in General Discussion
i use dr bronners liquid soap and a conditioner without undesirable chemicals. sun drying is good. washing with only water is good too, you just gotta scrub harder. letting your hair form neglect dreads is fun. your hair really affects you energetically- 10 replies

Supernormal Powers from Internal arts?
Flolfolil replied to Wun Yuen Gong's topic in General Discussion
everyone already has super powers. they use them on accident and are unaware of their existence. ever look at the back of someone's head in public and they turn around and look right at you? -

Fighters kill the fighters and kill the fight

don't mind me, just my opinion here....but i think that a lot of people seem to make conscious decisions on what they hate or do not hate and ignore that even when they say they don't hate something they are still feeling the emotional effects of hate. not sure if this is true for you, but it is an obstacle i personally have to deal with. i.e. a person wronged me and i am extremely pissed but i still love them vs. a person wronged me and i still love them huge difference there. the second one never subjected their body to hatred at all it seems -
going to have to agree. i never even pursued or believed the all is one theory and i ended up experiencing it.

wow dude take a breather

the methodology i used to get my findings was this: it has been my experience with every single self-proclaimed atheist (as in, someone who took the effort to say they were atheist rather than just people who are) except for 2 that they have some form of hatred or disdain for theists so around at least 100, so take that and you get 1/50 atheists that i have ever met were not dicks about it. you wanted the math i gave it to you. But yes, i agree with your point that statements that generalize whole groups of people aren't the best way of getting a point across. my apologies grigory, what you are doing here is getting defensive of atheists it is the same reaction that theists have. "But what they believe isn't what i believe, i am different!" i have to go through this almost every single time i meet someone who identifies as atheist. now imagine you had to make this argument you are making at least once a week

hehe sorry, i make that joke all the time myself i just thought that YOU were one of those types

hey everyone, i feel insecure about my beliefs and i need some affirmation that society sucks and that i am not the only one that thinks like i do. so please post everything you can find about how everything sucks there is a lot of stuff that sucks, so this thread should fill up pretty fast. i will start: don't you hate it that they don't design toilets to flush well enough to get rid of your entire dump in one flush? IT DRIVES ME INSANE

Caring or not caring about learning is a very conscious choice that every person makes. If someone cares, they will strive to learn well and will most likely succeed. If someone doesn't care, they will not care no matter how good the education, school, social interaction, or rewards for learning are.

i wish this were true, but sadly a large portion of them are too busy insulting the faiths of others to ever work on their own personal development. A quote from an atheist friend - "I don't need a god to tell me to live right" so why do you need to hate on people that do?

where does it say in the TTC that the TTC is the only knowledge worth living by? it might, but i never got that out of it personally...

Okay, i will rephrase. My point is more like this: As far as the extreme problems like corruption, what can be done to fight that? i am all for doing our part on the small scale, but a lot of people talk about the big scale problems and then offer no solutions. i admit i am responsible for society just like everyone else, but i don't know what to do. So aside from violent revolution, i would like advice on how a normal person can change big issues.

this thread wasn't just me taking a stab at ralis, but at an entire group of people that spend all their time talking about how bad things are but never doing anything about it. i wanted to leave his thread alone so he could talk about the stuff he wanted to talk about, while i talk about the underlying issue that seems to plague most "activists"
