Don't see what the problem is with christianity. Sure, the christians can be dumb. And the bible is definitely dumb. But when you take away people being dumb you are just left with god....What's so wrong with that? i feel like there is a lot of good teaching there. Why can't i be a sane, non-fascist, non-bigoted, loving follower of jesus? People act like it isn't possible... -

its not donating blood, its donating plasma. They take your blood out, separate the plasma and put the red blood cells back in. How much you get depends on your weight. You kinda get screwed if you don't weigh at least 150. It also depends on your area, but heavier people always get more. You usually get more your first 2 times donating also. You pretty much have to say that you have no health problems at all, pass a physical, then pass a vitals test every time you go to donate. They'll tell you all this stuff when you go the first time. Bring a snack with lots of protein and iron. Eat for iron! i use raw shelled sunflower seeds and stay super hydrated and i feel fine afterwards.

i think i see what you mean. It sounds like something i believe along the lines of "anarchy always exists, because you can do what you want and someone can prevent you from doing it"

i'm all for your friends getting what they want and being happy. Just because i don't believe in rights doesn't mean i'm some cold heartless asshole. The situation is funny to me. Most things are hilarious to me, especially peoples notions about how the world should be. i wish my dog shit rainbows, but if i dwell on that for the rest of my life i will never be free or happy

personally, i don't believe in rights. i believe in people arguing and fighting until one person gets what they want and a bunch of essentially worthless morality being masqueraded around as an excuse to be an asshole. We are animals. Take what you want, or not. But don't pretend anyone owes anything to anyone else.

would also like to point out there is a difference between being gay and being "in the community" in the gay community, the promotion of excessive levels of unhealthy sexual practice is overwhelming by gay community i mean people who actively seek out other gay people, go to clubs, etc

i am a gay male. i think all marriage is a pathetic quest for government benefits and ego-recognition. i am in a monogamous relationship for life, so no std risk here. years ago i became damaged from anal, i fully acknowledge negative health effects. i believe being gay is a combination of choice and influence for me, while i have met others that have been one or the other. the gender dysphoria thing confuses and sometimes upsets me. i acknowledge that i am a male with female personality aspects, and that everyone is a ratio of male and female. flaunting of sexuality gets a massive eyeroll from me

specifically its a feeling you get when you feel safe, are watching someone concentrate or pay mindful attention to you. Imagine how you may have felt if you ever had your grandparents read to you People (usually women) post videos of themselves speaking softly and doing soothing activities and you watch them and you get this kind of buzz from it. The feeling is like the opposite of fear, as in you know for certain that nothing could go wrong and you feel totally safe and not judgmental just do a youtube search for asmr. i like book scratching, water pouring, hand brushing, watching videos of people giving massages, even people doing qigong does it for me -
i don't think you will get very far with that "my way is better than other peoples way" type attitude. But hey, that's just like, your opinion man
