..an healthy and wise response.

That's untue as well.. vicāra, vicāra, vicāra...

On the face of it, this sounds quite good. However Wayne Liquorman is a neoadvaitin and one of the giveaways is this: - In fact, some teaching is certainly not "all bullshit". There is absolute truth (which cannot be spoken) and relative truth (which can be spoken). The final post in this thread explains it quite well.. Again, vicāra, vicāra, vicāra...
-
That's why vicāra is so critical if someone aspires even to step foot upon the path - let alone to walk the razor's edge to completion.

Really great to have a trained, experienced and competent psychologist on board..

I like Kumare myself.

Osho , Not surprisingly, Rajneesh's criminality also extended to blatant plagiarism.. (e.g. ripping-off Paul Reps' translation of the Vijnana Bhairava tantra)

And now...I will for ever think of TI as the Bodhisattva of Compassion

Now I will forever think of you as Myshkin.

Hmm... Perhaps not - discrimination involves doing a bit of homework..

I'm not you either..

Just to be clear. I'm certainly not that idiot..

Unfortunately, that's certainly not the case..

Then you clearly need to work on your discrimination..
-
Some very good questions TI - but probably best to regard them as rhetorical in this case..

I'm not really bothered either way.. And I think it's now time for me to leave this thread. Sorry if I've dragged it off-topic.. _/\_

I've also come across references to Greek "yoga" (and yoga involves both stillness and movement). BTW I said "Buddhism" not Buddhism but here's one translation of Parmenides: -
-
Interestingly, Parmenides demolished "Buddhism". Regarding linguistics; you may find this useful: - www.sanskrit-sanscrito.com.ar/en/linguistics-origin-origin-of-the-indo-european-languages-part-i-1/485

It strikes me, quite forcefully, that many people who use internet fora would benefit from talking to someone who is trained to listen to what they are saying. This is also something that's an excellent and worthwhile volunteering opportunity, especially as extensive training in the art of active listening is given to volunteers. www.befrienders.org
