Bear in mind that there's no underlying difference bertween Buddhism, Vedanta, Taoism, Sufism, Esoteric Christianity, Esoteric Judaism etc.etc. etc............. So it would be very difficult to moderate. I like the libertarian socialism of TTB - it works well. The fewer rules - the better

Keep an eye on the Meetup site and "friend" Francis on Facebook Jean Klein was not only his teacher but he was also his close personal friend; so ask Francis directly My guess is that you'll be eternally grateful -

Hey TI As Francis Lucille appeals to you; could I suggest that you might want to join his free (or donation) on-line satsangs. They are exactly the same satsang and the only bonus if you donate is that you will receive a link to download a recording of the event in case you have an internet connection issue. You can email him questions which he will answer on-line and, from time-to-time, there are webcasts which enable face-to-face questions (if you have a webcam ) http://www.francislucille.com/ http://www.meetup.com/Advaita/ https://www.facebook.com/francislucille You'll find that he would answer your questions clearly and he can discuss these things from a Buddhist perspective as well. And............perhaps if you wanted to try to put Francis in a box - he might not be welcomed in this forum either because his teacher (Jean Klein) was a Kashmiri Shaivist (who also knew Sri Atmananda - Krishna Menon ). Warmest regards G -
Isn't the translation - "unless it agrees with your own direct experience" (or words to that effect)?

The generally outstanding moderation is one of the many things that makes TTBs the best forum that I've ever come across. Sincere thanks, warmest regards and very best wishes, gatito

Hope that this is clear enough for everyone here: - The body is made of food, as the mind is made of thoughts. See them as they are. Non-identification, when natural and spontaneous, is liberation. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj -

I think that it's a wonderful idea and I'll certainly attend whenever it's possible for me to do so (probably with our puppies ) -

There can be no experience of the Absolute as it is beyond all experience. On the other hand, the Self is the experiencing factor in every experience and thus, in a way, validates the multiplicity of experiences. The world may be full of things of great value, but if there is nobody to buy them, they have no price. The Absolute contains everything experienceable, but without the experiencer they are as nothing. That which makes the experience possible is the Absolute. That which makes it actual is the Self. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj -
Yeah!!!! Why do you care?!!!! (lol)

The known is accidental, the unknown is the home of the real. To live in the known is bondage, to live in the unknown is liberation. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

Yes, permanent stabilization is sahaja samadhi - the only reliable benchmark for which is peaceful happiness (independent of objective phenomena). That's sahaja samadhi again I prefer to rely on my own direct experience rather than on stories -
Yes - and God made the world in 6 days and had his tea-break on day 7 LOL
