  3. Alien Chaff? http://en.wikipedia....countermeasure) You already believe the unbelievable:- Atheistic Pseudoscientific Materialism
  4. You believe that it wasn't a flying saucer because you believe that flying saucers don't exist and you believe that you saw a military flare Blinkered Atheistic (Pseudo)scientific Materialism
  5. If no-one has access to the data it doesn't exist does it? Ask yourself if an unthought thought exists Why believe in things for which there is no evidence? That's the problem with religion and the most pernicious religion on the face of the planet at the moment is probably Atheistic-Scientific-Materialism. Truth is obviously Subjective and the Subject is the Self, the Knower (Atman)

  10. Runes

I was introduced to them (alongside the I-Ching and Tarot - Rider-Waite) in the 1980s through Ralph Blum and I liked his approach, which focused on self-development/healing/learning/integration more than divination (I feel). I realise that there's some controversy regarding the Blank and the renaming of Loki and Odin so I'm watching this thread with intest and expecting to learn.

The world is but a show, glittering and empty. It is, and yet it is not. It is there as long as I want to see it and take part in it. When I cease caring, it dissolves. It has no cause and serves no purpose. It just happens when we are absent-minded. It appears exactly as it looks, but there is no depth in it, nor meaning. Only the onlooker is real, call him Self or Atma. To the Self, the world is but a colourful show, which he enjoys as long as it lasts and forgets when it is over. Whatever happens on the stage makes him shudder in terror or roll with laughter, yet all the time he is aware that it is but a show. Without desire or fear, he enjoys it, as it happens.
