  1. Yeh I don't get the Steve Jobs thing either, not sure what he practiced + possibility of malevolent earthly forces I have seen many people excel on such, Michael Arnstein being one. Millions die from SAD related dis ease barely a mention (mainstream)... Govs are more invested in keeping people in a Rajasic/ Tamasic state
  2. The "but I am thankful"... Imagine yourself in a similar situation to these animals Somebody breaks into your home, kills your family and takes everything you own... because "they need it to survive" or "they enjoy it" ... they are thankful for what they have taken from you... how would you feel? For one you'd think that person was insane/ psychopath
  3. The "but I like how it tastes" isn't a problem either as there are vegan/vege mimics
  4. Spiritual career

  5. I am maybe 50%? fruitarian ahah For breakfast + lunch generally I have lots of fruit. At the moment I am eating organic cara cara oranges (very sweet) and bananas daily (very enjoyable) . Some combination of 10 or a little more. Last breakfast I had 2 oranges and 10ish bananas. Some will be 5 oranges and 5 bananas, all depends. Dinner/ Afternoon at present I'll have a cooked meal. I prefer quinoa, buckwheat, lentils sometimes with an avocado. Meals are usually pretty basic, but I find them enjoyable and efficient. Some will have a large salad/greens at dinner, you could have fruit again also. I know of a guy who did 6 months on oranges alone, says he was buzzing like the bees I have done a week of mangoes and oranges in the summer and have never felt better in all aspects. Can take awhile to find what works best for you / experiments etc I want to experiment more with a salad at night to see how that goes. Sleeping is great too, very relaxed and hydrated. Waking up with a fresh breath + body is happiness.

  7. Eating animal flesh is the default error in humanity at present (unconscious, tamasic) Vegetarian/ Vegan could be considered a philosophical movement as Taoism/ Buddhism are... Being vegetarian/ vegan tends to be much more than just what you eat.
  8. Whats in a name?

That is humility in its true form = dishonesty Being humble in my view would be better described as truthful/ reasonable. The Sun shines bright and gives life to all, it is good. A flower is beautiful, lifts our spirits and gives delightful perfumes, it is good etc There is no reason for these things to pretend that they are less than what they are. Such a deception would not benefit them or others.
  9. Whats in a name?

People priding themselves on humility. People only pursue humility because they think it is better than something else, there is an inherent hypocrisy. I would take pride over dishonesty
  10. Whats in a name?

    Hm, *shrugs*
  11. Whats in a name?

I.S, said in another thread he was attracting accidents, accidents are typical of a fool. It may be that your name + that character/ persona/ mask is attracting those accidents. Just a thought, continue as you will.
  12. Whats in a name?

So you think you are pretty smart calling yourself an idiot?
  13. I recall something like 70% of the animals on this planet eat only plant material I never understood how good they feel until trying a raw plant based diet myself for a week, The bees must really be buzzing with a diet of pollen/ nectar
  14. The sacrificing of Animal (+ Human) life was and will never be an act of love. It is and will always be an act of fear, selfishness. The only sacrifice that is loving is when a person sacrifices themselves by their own freewill. I became vegetarian when I was 18 after being given a small pamphlet showing the horrors of "livestock" ... having never considered deeply what I was involved in until that moment (which I am very grateful for) ... with this understanding I could no longer be part of that. I did however make an allowance for fish after a year to ease social situations... like going to a friends place and being offered fish as a vegetarian dish, I found it hard to refuse. So I let that slip for 7ish years, not putting much consciousness into it... I myself probably wouldn't have been able to kill a fish... I recall going on a couple of fishing trips in my youth and watching with grimace people putting worms on hooks, everyone seemed so indifferent which I think initially confused my natural aversion to this cruelty. Accepting it as "what is" or the like. What is sometimes isn't good enough though. Social patterns/ expectations + "justifications" will lead you in circles. The next step being Veganism, which I am working toward...95% at present, again working out the social hurdles. How can we want freedom, happiness, peace for ourselves if we are unwilling to give it to others? This forum I believe is dedicated to the expansion of consciousness, part of that expansion is most certainly the ability to empathize and go beyond yourself. To be able to imagine yourself as another, to feel what they feel etc. Animal flesh is in my understanding The "Forbidden Fruit", The fall from Grace/ Divinity was when humans (in origin vegetarian) starting killing and eating animals. This may have been around 5000-10000 years ago. The religious/spiritual texts/ Civilizations that predate Judaism, Christianity, Islam all forbade animal blood sacrifices and promoted a vegetarian diet. From Ancient Iran to Ancient India, Greece, Egypt Our intrinsic self is at peace with Nature + Animals.
  15. Whats in a name?

VANIR! Ya, I was saying in another thread that I have seen names become self fulfilling overtime.
  16. Whats in a name?

Ahaha! I started a thread sometime ago about reconsidering the "Tao Bums" name This thread is about Idiot changing his name though (maybe, ha)

  20. Interesting yes, usually you hear about either the front two death? being symbolic of that. I had a number of teeth fall out in a dream a couple of weeks ago and in their place grew psilocybin and amanita mushrooms, I was confident I could grow my teeth back haha. I haven't had such mushrooms in this life. I started eating them and got a super sweet delightful taste and woke up... hmm Hmm maybe it means the power of the mushrooms is within and I don't need to seek them elsewhere... (that just came to mind) haha Helps to share dreams, write them out etc. Did you get your old self back?

Paleo and Atkins are pretty similar. Atkins was a heart specialist, died of heart disease. Here is an example of what I am talking about.
