  1. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

    yes
  2. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

They have awesome vegetarian dishes though, no?
  3. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

Are you 100% certain it is false?
  4. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

For whom? the animals really... and human(e)ity indirectly.
  5. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

I don't know if you'd be exactly the same. I don't have the answers just questions. Looking back at my own life I have changed many times / learning more and so on. > As per OP ... the possession of humanity by a wicked spirit / enslaving humanity via consumption of animal flesh + blood lust... and the resulting "Fall from Grace" as indicated by 3 distinct world religions. ... which I think I said before more or less... that I believe there is something to this thought. Even if it is just how different foods alter ones state of mind. I think it is a path to world peace... if the slaughter of 150 billion animals a year was considerably reduced would that change the energetics of the earth? I have watched a number of videos of animals suffering + human cruelty (hell on earth), I had never considered before and decided I must be responsible for what I eat... I no longer wanted to be a part of it. It has nothing to do with me (other than me sharing the information) ... peace for animals is all... + hopefully this will bring some peace to the world in general. Do you have animals? did you grow up with animals? dog, cat?
  6. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

How would you be in front of a Buddha? How would you be if you knew yourself to be Buddha? What would Buddha do?
  7. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

The supreme good is like water, which nourishes all things without trying to. It is content with the low places that people disdain. Thus it is like the Tao. (Cow?) What if you found out that the Cow was the Mother of all Gods?
  8. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

Is the cow not Buddha at heart? Isn't every atom Buddha?
  9. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

Really it is social conditioning. Not many have considered alternatives. Even if those alternatives have health benefits... the blood lust is too strong. Somewhat like families who for generations have voted the same way (politically)... just because. To research and make up your mind is one thing... to understand the system is broken top to bottom is another and so on. Somewhat like the idea of being a man = drinking beer and watching football. Have I offended more with that statement?
  10. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

Most animals I see as being in a state of innocence. Cows... specifically don't harm anyone... they just eat grass / maybe they inadvertently get a few bugs. Adult humans I don't see as innocent. I don't know you so I can't say really. I do have friends who eat meat yes. I don't have philosophies of no harm... more of protect the innocent + seek the truth. Only concerned about your own feelings? Your love of self.... so much that you will kill others. Is this not why the world is the way it is today? What should I be more concerned about, your feelings or innocent animals going through horrific pain and terror? It would be worth watching some footage of what happens. Anger at you personally? no.
  11. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

I would look at you Stosh the same way I look at a cow. Is eating a cow loving? I would say your love is limited... if you can't recognize the will to live / consciousness of another being who also expresses love / affection / sorrow / pain etc ...as we do. Really it is about putting yourself in the place of another... empathy.
  12. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

Suninmyeyes - It could be due to one of my Mars aspects lol. "too much rightiousness can metamorphosise into dislike and subtle violence" I assume dislike and subtle violence towards myself due to the information I share? I don't know if I would call it righteousness... I have no thought of such really. I just want peace (strange you may think?) ... I don't want beings to suffer needlessly... I see them suffer and I want to help ... sometimes this leads to difficult information. I have no aim to be liked. It would be nice I guess... but is of no real importance. My aim is to find.
  13. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

There is super awesome vege food...you can make yourself... a little effort / a little reading / a little imagination = divine! haha I'll give you one hint. INDIA! haha
  14. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

I just found the OP interesting and thought some others may. Some sitting on the fence... may find interesting too. I am not here really to convince anyone of anything. I did not force anyone to read this thread - the title shows its intent. I do not understand why people who eat meat follow me around and try to justify why they eat meat... I never asked you to do such a thing... and then call me self righteous? seems a little hypocritical. Many people eat meat...I once did also, don't take it personally.
  15. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

  16. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

Compassion... self righteousness? haha Is what I propose false In terms of creating a more peaceful world? Really your heart is cold and you feel no love... perhaps this is due to eating meat (too much of a predator mind / cold blooded) I look at a cow and I see a friend... what do you see?
  17. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

I agree with the grains. No right or wrong? what are you doing here?
  18. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

True. I think if we are mixing / eating blood that blood/ tissue gets mixed and may alter our own DNA + expression and thoughts. Whereas fruit and vegetables contain water + light codes from the sun.
  19. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

We have many mythologies from all parts of the planet... floods, Atlantis ... civilizations greater than our own... rise and fall. I imagine some catastrophic event may have forced man to eat meat. The "caveman" being the survivors of that event. They talk of say Sumeria + other civilizations appearing "out of nowhere" ... there can be found no lead up to the creation of these "out of the box" peoples with complete languages, engineering + agriculture etc...
  20. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

All those religions + all those sages etc...over all that time... all wrong? What are we doing here? Are we man or animal? I'd say some animals become human eventually. Some say evolution was a result of psychedelic mushrooms. Some say evolution is a poor theory... of which Darwin himself disbelieved. Some believe in a de evolution... that we came from the heavens etc "Golden Age" again... humans fell from grace... being once immortal. Some believe in "creative evolution" a combination of creationism + evolution. ... Dinosaurs ate meat? are there reptoids with human or above intelligence walking around? Crocodiles? Sharks? Insects? lions? birds? + other carnivorous beasts... when did they land on the moon? Some monkeys eat other monkeys... yet to see them light a fire.
  21. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

Just listing the top 10 by population size.
  22. Animal Flesh and the Fall of Man.

I think one of the greatest steps toward world peace is in practicing a vegetarian diet. People talk about how crazy and violent the world is / becoming... and will sit down to a dinner of slaughter cow... meat still red and full of blood. As the world becomes more insane / violent access to meat + its consumption is also increasing globally... 150 billion animals now slaughtered every year... Despite every world religion having vegetarianism as its ideal. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism. Sikhism, Judaism, Bahaism, Confucianism, Jainism, Shintoism

  24. I've been doing a little study re Datura... pretty nasty stuff from all accounts. Some saying they wouldn't give it to their worst enemy. Also called devils weed, hells bells etc...ha delirium... violence, self harm and death in some cases... apparently 95% report of bad trips... strict warnings against usage within the entheogen community. / I haven't tried anything myself, just read of. So the Zazen "tripping" simply via meditation.. or taking substances and tripping while Zazen?
