I think I understand..

A lot of this sounds like The Matrix .... what are you thoughts on that? MPG Perhaps if people wanted a visual understanding of what has been discussed? Also wouldnt one need the apparent karma to come to the place of wanting to create the Immortal Self? Or to be able to come across such knowledge? So the Yin body wouldnt be an empty shell it would be the sum total of ones collective experience... But the Karma thing... how does karma begin? What is the First Cause? or the cause before the cause... Also you say that everything is in the mind... / all is mind... I at present agree with... So what if your experience of the nature of reality has been conditioned by Buddhism / Taoism etc so your mind has created that situation because that is what you at present believe... So reality is as you said a mirror of your own mind? So I can believe what ever I want and it will be true..for me totally and All that is will respond to that... Therefore If I totally believe myself to be Immortal already without any elaborate techniques (mind games... to make one feel that they have worked / achieved...climbed to the mountain top) I will be. Which is really you standing in the way of YOU?

Interesting stuff! I have an interest in this myself. The only thing I have come across is Franz Bardons (self) Initiation into Hermetics. I think you may enjoy that read Mnisi. He also goes into astral projection toward the end... though states everything previous must be achieved first before attempting AP...one being balancing the elements within. I read the book through but didnt practice anything... bit impatient and wanted to get to AP first haha... which I think we do anyway but just unconsciously at times... there is a fair amount of info on the net about it. I think one is only "limited" by their imagination... if you want to bend like the avatar go for it! I am trying to connect my dream state and this reality / find the link - similarity etc break the matrix. The Matrix is like my bible Take what you need from anything and make your own system I think...what feels right to you.

The eyes don't lie is another saying which I believe to be true. I think you can get a general feel of a person by looking into their eyes or even just them in general. Intuition? subtle energy etc / reading people - empathic I think most people have this ability? You ever walked into a place that didnt feel quite right? Or another place that felt really good? without any obvious reason as to why.

As you said... with music etc this is more noticable..for myself anyway...getting out of your own way and flowing... which I really think is heart v mind... until moving from the heart becomes... takes the Royal Seat? I think In western... and the mind becomes servant to the heart rather than the heart to the mind...as the heart is the seat of the soul... the secret chamber? / true / pure expression...

Like being in the zone? I call it riding the wave... there seems to be a flow to it I think... aka the rhythm of life I guess.

Hm I don't get ego really... I think this is a dangerous thought - I once met a guy on the path and he was totally obessed by this ego - no ego thing... everything was ego... his thinking was habitual / repetitive... constant conflict with this phantom ego. I think everything is as relevant as everything else... nothing being more important / superior - no ego v ego Self v self and all the rest.... for myself I aim for a more integrated/ wholistic understanding... but perhaps I am mistaken haha

I think to remain objective to thoughts is important... to not identify with them etc hmm watching clouds go by..but you are the clear, vast sky...kind of thing nothing that hasnt been said before

I have witnessed a death more or less and heard of other accounts of death that correlate with my own experience... and it seems an act of grace / clarity /knowingness come over the person some hours + before the moment... I don't know what this is though I find it reassuring ... perhaps as the body loses it grip on the spirit? the spirit begins to shine through?

I think of Neo (matrix) - once you begin to understand the true nature of reality things become a lot more flexible. The waking up from the dream...type of thing In my dreams I can fly I can't see why this should be any different haha I think It takes imagination + clarity/focus + 100% faith

I have noticed how different foods dramatically effect mental and physical well being. What if one didn't need to meditate forcefully and a pure mind/ natural state was achieved through the consumption of pure food etc... You are what you eat ?

Well 4 days of Bigu diet // no grains/gluten, starch, dairy, meat, sugar and I was feeling the best I have felt in a long time... more energy, joy and was beginning to feel very open and connected / electric To experiement decided to go back to the above... minus meat to observe the effects... was basically noticable from the first intake of such elements... now day 3 ish feeling down... + lower motivation. I was feeling very creative with this energitic buzz and very focused / clear + seem to be functioning from a higher level in terms of desires, outlook + thoughts etc... positive, progressive, creative without any effort...natural state... looking forward to getting back on track now!! I can almost taste the Divine haha ... I am excited by the possibilites of prolonged practice! Love you all Peace!

Interesting to note too, during the love generation people grew their hair out? Rebellion? or more... The Taoists do seem to be rebels
