side note: why are we imposing human traits on these beautiful beings? why don't we call a spade a spade? I suppose all my experience with dogs and animals in general have been good. I think dogs are a good indicator of character too my dog generally greets everyone happily... very rarely though she will growl at the odd one... I don't generally trust these people V have you ever pushed the limit? parachute? motorbikes etc? faced fear? does one overcome fear by ignoring it or facing it? + a little fear is healthy I think... stops one from strolling onto a mine field or using a bit too much accelerator around that bend... or actually remembering to put your parachute on Am I a vicious dog? @ bubbles or others so inclined off topic: minor thing / do you think english is an evolution of language or devolution? all ancient languages seem to have a system - roots branch tree? + some have mathematical... some believe that english was created // or later on manipulated to distort/ corrupt the mind of man ... subtle subconscious ways ... but we see it in everyday things like for example the word heal = get better but heel a word sounding exactly the same, relating to the foot / or as in heel < obey... become subservient etc also say credit which usually means +++ now = debt --- but the subconscious mind will hold both concepts both heal and heel? perhaps = result can not be pure... the concept / symbol is corrupt? maybe another thread? if you would like to start? Has anyone here experience with Guru Rinpoche? and the Vajra Guru (Padmasambhava) Mantra: OM AH HUNG VAJRA GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUNG Some time ago I practiced this mantra / I had/ have an affinity of sorts I stopped and have not returned to it // I have lost trust in a lot of things... thinking this mantra or many to be possible traps / evoking entities / energies etc that I have no knowledge etc of thoughts?

It would seem that such things are generally related to large organizations / hierarchy power and being above the "law" perceived spiritual "rank" or monetary the larger the hierarchical organization generally the greater the corruption / sense of being "untouchable" the corruption being at the very top from the Vatican to the "White House"? From Wall Street to Hollywood? with the multitude obeying solution: level the field

I think it is in the Upanishads? I tend to agree 1000 good deeds will not get you into heaven ? or the like you could be Mother Teressa and be no closer to realization than anybody else in this world? Its all about "gnosis"? and however/ by which path one achieves that like Milarepa? started his path with anger / vengeance/ hatred ... became a black magician eventually turned about and so so whatever arises naturally follow that perhaps / instead of should and should k/nots as Krishna said? all paths lead to me in my humble opinion all depends on yourself what drives you etc a number of folks here may think good and evil are the same / perhaps in an absolute sense... but I do not live in an absolute reality / from my perception at present in other words I don't believe in non-violence to the point of not defending yourself or your family etc pretty sketchy answer but I havnt come to some fantastic non-dual state of awareness where everything is the same same same is non- dual awareness separate from duality? how can one discuss duality from a non dual awareness? http:// I like the idea of polarity and balance some folks think balance is equal parts evil to equal parts good? and you can only have good with evil... my view of balance = harmony = health... you dont have equal parts non health to equal parts health when the body is in balance it is perfect... Twinner: My hope is that by expressing these ideas I might encourage people to explore the topics of enlightenment through introspection and experience, rather than rote and ritual. In the end I hope people can understand that they don't need 'masters' or teachers to show them the way, that really it exists within each of us if we have the discipline and patience to search for it.
