Hi FT, believe that the rules have been altered a couple of times since you joined. Whilst some established members casually used to check the Lobby now and then & welcome new members, occasionally people were "missed" and once they'd fallen off the first page, they were easily overlooked. People seem to have more Compassion for kids / animals, than for other adults. Maybe it has to do with how "helpless" / defenceless thay seem. But are we compassionate because it's just our own nature....we like helping others / especially those less fortunate than ourselves ? or is it, how we were brought up by our parents / family ......what society expects ? Is it because it's the "right thing to do"....? or because we'd like to earn a few brownie points towards eternal salvation ? (if we believe in that)

Ah, so what we're claiming now is that Dinosaurs have evolved & become completely "Invisible". Then (those small enough) go into peoples houses & hide their keys & glasses Gosh, when you break it down like that, it ALL starts to make sense. :D

That sounds far too Familiar, Rene. When I'm away on Holiday, or just taking a daytrip someplace nice, I'll whip my Camera out at the slighest opportunity. Take a couple of photos, then pocket it. 5 minutes later, i've noticed something else & will take another few photos.. I could do that ALL Day Long. My other half will just sigh, give me a look and later, when we're having lunch will say.... "You're so busy taking ******* photos of everything, you're spoiling our Holiday." So I'll apologise, give her the Camera, grab her hand and spend the rest of the day enjoying ourselves by doing & looking at things together One Day I'll learn not to take the Camera in the first place. :ph34r:

A Newspaper should inform & entertain it's readers with actual NEWS !!! World Events of note, Politics & Sport are fine. Photos of Natural Events or unusual species, great. Interviews with Interesting, Important or Unusual People (Dalai Lama / The Pope / Robert Mugabe, etc) all newsworthy. Giving away the plot-line to tonights Soap Drama, repeating groundless rumour or inuendo = OUT OUT OUT. Who's shagging whom = Def. Out !!! As I understand it, a "Block" will be put on by default, meaning that no-one in the UK should be able to access Porn etc. when logging on to the Internet. Anything depicting Rape or Snuff type stuff will be banned outright. Good idea, in that it stops young kids using the family PC to do "innocent" searches & being bombarded with inappropriate Adult content. If Mum & Dad don't want junior to see that sort of thing, they'll need to keep the Filter on. If you are Aged 18 or over (I'm well over) then you must "request" that the Block be re-moved. Believe you must prove your ID (So Police/Big Brother etc have ALL your private, personal details), then out of the kindness of their Hearts they'll let you look at the whole entire Web. (Apart from the stuff mentioned in 1st paragraph). Problem is, if "alternative" sites are also included in the stuff filtered out, I'll need to apply to have my Filter switched off. (How to explain that one, to the other half...no dear I was just looking at a video of a Qi Gong Class, honest ) Basher
