60 Million people in the UK, living under the constant scrutiny of Big Brother & his CCTV....phone taps on private conversations, reading copies of our private e-mails, logging all our movements by our vehicles license plates & Mobile phones. All (so each Government says) to Protect our FREEDOM !!! How many "real" Terrorist types in the UK at the moment ? 500 ? 5,000 ??? Target them for the 24/7 survellience & leave the rest of us alone... Gosh Darn It !!!! Also, EU get your filthy hands off our British Cucumbers !!! Basher Heart (LOL)

I've done the "easy" bit, and have bought Paul Dong's book I'm off work for a few days sometime soon, so will attempt the next stage i.e. to read / understand it then.. Will be a lot harder to spend weeks/months/years putting it into practice, unless you start seeing some results (even small ones) along the way. To show that you're on the right track.

You mean there's a System ? Wow !!! I thought it was all just happening organically.

His speech did seem that of an articulate, intelligent, individual. Both Murderers seemed to hang around waiting for the Police to show up. maybe so that they could die as "Martyrs for the Cause". Wierd, seems (from what I've read) like he was brought up in a "normal" (whatever that means) Christian household until 2001. When he started to become "radicalised"..... This may be of interest...Viewpoint: What do radical Islamists actually believe in? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22640614 Basher

I am an extremely "relaxed" White Christian type (mostly) English person. I was at school with a fairly mixed ethnic group, at least from 13 years old & upwards....over the years I've lost contact with, or dropped various friends, for various reasons. My closest Male friends are an Indian (Hindu) & 2 brothers from Pakistan (Muslims) that I knew as a teenager, I'm now in my Fifties !!. When topics like Salman Rushdie are in the news, we discuss them openly, sometimes extremely heatedly. But, at the end of the day, we agree to disagree and respect each others opinions. They are my close friends first & anything else second. I've worked in an Office owned & staffed by Muslims, where I was the only person who didn't stop for Prayers. I've been accepted into their Families, like a brother & have always been treated well. Sure, I don't like the Muslim stance against Homosexuals, especially as one of my step-children is one. I also don't appreciate the fact that my girlfriend & I are separated as soon as we walk through their front door if invited for a Meal. All of the women congregate in the kitchen to chat & prepare the food. All of the men folk sit back, relax in the Living / Dining room waiting to be served !! But, if I choose to accept their kind invitation to Dinner, I play by their House rules. A true Muslim would be the very first person to denounce this sort of violence. Not because they're afraid of an anti-Muslim backlash. But because it goes against everything they believe in.

The two MURDERERS drove their car down a street near to an Army Barracks in Woolwich. They saw a man in a "Help For Heroes" Top walking on the pavement (sidewalk to you in the U.S.) & assuming that he was part of the Military, aimed their car at him & ran him down, even though he was completely unarmed. They then proceeded to stab him to death & then try to decapitate him. Most passers by, who arrived after the initial attack, assumed that the driver had lost control & accidentally run the bloke over. They also "assumed" that the two men, beside the Body were trying to help him. Once someone saw the knives & chopper, they called the Police, who tried to cordone off the area. One woman tried to distract the men, by talking to them, asking what they wanted, etc. One woman cradled the dying "off-duty" soldier in her arms & stayed with him until the police arrived. All of the brave blokes there were either busy filming the event on their blinkin Mobile phones, or cacking their Pants. Once a Police armed response unit got there, one of the men pulled a gun & both "men" (sorry, scumbags) were shot ONCE !!! Handcuffed & taken to Hospital with an armed guard. Some cretins call themselves Muslims, even though they don't understand the basic concepts of that Belief. Some cretins call themselves Christians (like the English Defence League) and Ditto per the above. So far, a couple of Mosques run & attended by peace loving Muslim Families have been attacked. Loads of intelligent community leaders from all faiths have been interviewed on TV to denounce this senseless violence. But, as usual, it's the Media themselves that have announced that these two sad, lonely, cowardly, losers are Islamic Terrorists. "An Eye for an Eye, until the Whole World is BLIND."

CM, welcome to TTB's. Think that you've come to exactly the right place for advice, from those that have experience of where you are now. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to comment or be of much assistance. But the "Wise Ones" amongst us will (I'm sure) answer your plea for Help. Basher -
Welcome James, been on here a couple of years now & still find it to be a goldmine of useful / interesting information regarding lots of things...not necessarily just Taoism. Enjoy your time here....post 5 times to escape the Lobby & enable yourself to post elsewhere. Basher

Thanks for that Seph, enjoying dipping into your Blog. Sometimes important principles seep into our subconcious mind from something we've heard / read, almost immediately. Sometimes it might take an entire lifetime... LOL From your story, it sounds as if the Poky Little Puppy became a Porky Big Fat Puppy, after eating all those Desserts !!! I believe you should treat your Dogs / Kids in a similar fashion, ie by rewarding Good Behaviour. Basher
