I'll often have sauce with Meat Dishes, usually Tomato Ketchup, HP or Reggae reggae ! (Sorry) LOL

ALLEGEDLY .... Slaughterhouses in Ireland, France & Romania have been knowingly or unknowingly been selling various Meats to various suppliers...which have ended up on supermarket shelves mis-labelled. all of the major Supermarkets stocks have had to be DNA tested. Loads were found to be contaminated, ie contained trace quantities of Meat from another animal. Some were found to contain virtually none of the Animal mentioned on the packaging. (ie they were 100% something else !!!) The French eat Horse meat without any problem, but the British don't. If a lost or "stolen" Horse finds it's way into the food chain, how do we know it hasn't been treated with drugs which can effect humans ? UK food industry has been TOLD to clean up its act, reduce the complexity of the Supply chain & will all be subject to random DNA testing of any Meat products.

North Korea "Nukes" South Korea, Wind changes, North Koreans in their Millions also die of Radioactivity. Soil contaminated, so they cannot grow their own crops....more Millions of North Koreans die. There's already an embargo on trading with North Korea, because of their various weapon tests & rebuilding of their Nuclear Power Plants. If they start anything, attitudes against them will only harden ! North Korea aims Nukes at Japan, US Overseas Bases like Guam, Anyone Else.... They intercept & destroy the Rockets & then retaliate. Perhaps with non-nuclear weapons at first, as South Korea is an ally. North Korea aims anything at China....NK becomes a huge Ashtray or Nuclear Wateland if we're not careful. To paraphrase "Lord of the Rings" .... One Twat to Kill Us All !!! (I'm stocking up on Marmite, it's the only solution !) BUT WHAT DID NOSTRODAMUS WRITE ABOUT ALL THIS ???? That's the important thing !

My old Tai Chi Instructor claimed to be able to see People's auras, after doing some Daoist breathing / energy exercises. He told me that my Aura was a Deep (Roman?) Purple. Never did find out if that meant something health or personality wise.

Here in the UK there's a HUGE hoo-ha going on at the moment. Supermarkets have been selling stuff marked as Beef Lasagne, it's been DNA tested & come back as 90% Horse Meat !!! Loads of similar goings on with Burgers, Kebabs etc. Halal meat found to contain Pork !!! etc etc. If that's not enough to put you off eating Meat, I dunno what is.

A lot of Tai Chi / Chi Kung or "Internal" Kung Fu Instructors are Vegetarians. Some due to their belief that killing animals is wrong. Some because they believe that it's a Healthier lifestyle. Yet others in order that they generate / save more Chi, be more supple, etc. Most of them wouldn't give a jot about gaining muscles or staying in shape, in the western understanding. There's a great Chapter on being a Vegetarian, in a new Kindle e-Book by Master Howard Gibbon. It's called "It's Tai Chi Jim, but not as we know it !"

Interesting perspective !!! Agree that we're all responsible for our own actions & the after-effects of those actions. But how does that intergrate with the belief that all life is "one" ? Regards "Confuzzled"

Could Mankind cope without believing in God / Gods ? If God(s) didn't / doesn't exist, would we need to invent it/them ?

I don't know how that affects things LCH, as a Taoist you might "internally" distance yourself from your individual self. But wouldn't other people (non-Taoists) still judge you to be responsible for your own actions ? If you did something which they perceived as wrong / bad, wouldn't they attempt some form of retribution ? Unless you can live like a hermit on a mountain top, would the world at large treat you any differently ? Basher

An Old Cockney Chinaman, called Professor Chee Soo (who also, just so happened to be a Grandmaster in Taoist T'ai Chi Ch'uan & Kung Fu) taught us to: Think Good - Think No Evil. Do Good - Do Nothing Wrong. Learn To Give, and Give, and Give, in Whatever Way You Can. Cleanse Yourself of Your Emotions - Jealousy, Hate, Lust, Greed, etc. Not a Bad Way to Live Your Life, most might agree. Whilst a lot of Taoist Scholars might point out that there's no such thing as Good or Evil, Right or Wrong. He was adamant that you reap what you sow, both individually and as a group. Surely, if you always treat others as you yourself would like to be treated, then you cannot go far wrong. Basher

Does it really matter WHO killed Millions of people ? Communists/Fascists/Christians....they've ALL killed/murdered those who have differents beliefs, differents gods, different coloured skin or those who just look a bit different. The Facts are Millions have died, (usually) at the hands of those in POWER or those trying to forceably gain Power. Millions have died trying to obtain freedom from Slavery, or just FREEDOM to believe in what they choose. One Man's Terrorist, is another Man's Freedom Fighter ! Most Religions have a stated belief along the lines of "Thou shalt not Kill". Yet (apart from the communists), virtually all of the people doing the killing in both of the World Wars, believed God was on their side ! Mankind is extremely wasteful of the Earth's Resources, spending enormous amounts of money / effort trying to be bigger & better than the next guy / town / city / country. If only we could harness all of that Energy in to trying to help others, rather than beat them, the World would be a much nicer place for ALL. (Just my 5p's worth !)

Hi Gerard, I believe that during the Communist takeover, not only were hundreds of thousands of people killed for anti-communist beliefs. But also many millions of Ancient texts and Books etc on Taoism (amongst other things) were destroyed... A crime against humanity in both cases.... Believe that Hitler was also responsible for burning any Books considered to be anti the Nazi ideaology !!! Also, have you considered that you might be 100% self-aware & enlightened.....and a Nutcase

Hi selflove38, I'm truly glad for you, that you do, as I think it's a healthy sign. I've often heard the saying " If you do not first love yourself, how then can you hope to truly love others ?" Not sure that I believe it... also not sure that I do. I've too many faults & weaknesses, for my liking. But guess I'm a "work in progress" !

Hi Wattanut, believe I know two of your relations....offisnut & hezanut. I too had a long break in my training. Currently studying (Li) T'ai Chi Ch'uan, K'ai Men (Chinese Yoga) & like you, Dao Yin. I can only speak for myself, but even after a few months I started feeling a lot of health benefits. I think that once you can see differences in your own health & fitness, you'll be inspired to continue your training with renewed vigour. Basher

No, no & no............(IMO) Should there be ? Jobs wise, opportunities wise, treatment wise, every other wise .... ? Probably. Women are (generally) better at multi-tasking, so would actually make better pilots etc. Men are (generally) better at concentrating on one think at a time & perhaps delving in that thing a bit deeper. Men are also (generally speaking) less compassionate & more guilty of making generalisations !! LOL
