Welcome Kitty, I know it's frustrating to be "left in the dark" when you first decide to join / post on this Forum. But (generally) the Mods and Stewards are pretty quick in doing their various "behind-the-scenes" stuff & checking that you're Not a BOT, etc. Don't know how much "extra" work would be involved, but would perhaps be nice to get an automated Message or something...just to let you know what's happening and why. Welcome, I'd suggest that you use the "Search" box, to read some/all of the Mantak Chia (Healing Tao) references on here. As there are lots of differing opinions about his Abilities & the accuracy of some of his claims / lineage. Plus various horror stories about those who've suffered side-effects from incorrect practices. I have several of his Books & find them very interesting, but I don't do any of his Practices/Techniques myself. As I'm studying something else at the moment.

I've "amazed" various friends with this trick for years !!! (even though I'd no idea WHY it works) Darn, now everybody will know. LOL I rarely zap my own head, just explain the idea & let my mates try it out on themselves ! (Unsure if zapping your own brain hundreds of times would have any effect, but why take the chance !!)

Wasn't there a "Study" done in the 1970's, with two groups. One who practised Tai chi on a daily basis.....and another made up of those unable to stand / walk. But they were taught to "imagine" going through the form. The improvement in health of BOTH Groups was meant to be very similar. Or was this just another one of those "Urban Myths" ?
