Breaking News - US intelligence officials reveal they have evidence Covid-19 comes from the Wuhan Lab
Master Logray replied to Immortal4life's topic in The Rabbit Hole
How do we ascertain if a virus has been genetically modified? If someone produces something like a human with 2 heads, then it is obvious. But if the modification is very minor - slightly more hair, then how do we know nothing has been tampered? -
American doctors explain why covid is just a flu
Master Logray replied to Toni's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Flu is just a name. Virus don't have to kill directly. This virus has a death rate 10 times more than Flu. The medical system is overwhelmed. Medics are killed. Other patients died. No country can ignore it and treats it as common flu. -
Taoism nowadays are mainly into 2 sects/types. Chuen Jan Faction and Jing Yat Faction. Chuen Jan is more on inner alchemy, and/or being a religion like Buddhism, Christianity or Hinduism. Jing Yat is Taoists in ceremonies, burial rituals, magicks, purging ghosts, bringing fortunes, mending relationships, Feng Shui, fortune telling, divination and so on. They also train their Chi too. Since Taoism is extremely diversified, each sect or each temple is different from the others.

Bill Maher is right- The wet markets plus the Wuhan lab
Master Logray replied to Immortal4life's topic in The Rabbit Hole
The barbarians and foreign devils certainly gain a lot of knowledge these days. But by how much? Many masters don't even teach the core secret to their disciples and students, who are all Chinese. And some important knowledge are just not passed on to the followers and gone when the masters passed away. -

Master Logray replied to Immortal4life's topic in The Rabbit Hole
I have read a book on Taoist Inner Alchemy. The writer, I forgot the name, but is prominent, says the path is very different from all other religions. Because all others like Christianity, Buddhism, they apply to all kinds of people, they want to convert as many people as possible. While Taoist inner work is unique that it is confined to the Chinese race only and must not be disclosed to foreigners. This is the last refuge of Chinese Nation ( δΈθ―ζ°ζ ), the only way to be on par with the West which has surpassed China in all aspects. -
How to work with blockages and energy as a total beginner?
Master Logray replied to GreenCord's topic in Newcomer Corner
To be scientific, you better stop everything except one, then change to another and observe the result on your body. Just like your PC is out of order, you unplug the usb, mouse, vga card etc one by one and see which one causes trouble. attention at the sensation of the air at the tip of the nose: It should be safe. The western sect of Taoist has similar technique. They pay attention to 1 inch away from the tip of the nose. It is to prevent any concentration associate with your head, brain, third eye area. Unless you have good guidance, don't concentrate in the head area, or even upper body, it is prone to all sorts of problems. TCM doctors may or may not be able to help. A safe way to direct the Chi down is to immerse your feet into warm water(not too hot), usually before you sleep. There are ingredients to put in, like silvery wormwood( Chinese mugwort,) or ginger . If you can't find them or too expensive, just put a little bit of salt. This method is not that powerful but also won't aggravate your situation. This is good for sleep too. Other possible methods including standing pose to direct energy to bottom of your feet. -
Shaking to improve immunity, prevent colds and flus, expel wind-cold pathogenic qi, strengthen protective qi
Master Logray replied to Walker's topic in General Discussion
I learned of this method from Taichi teachers. But they treated shaking as one of the many unimportant warm up exercises. For the past 6 months, I shake 2-3 times a day, as part of the Rejuvenation Series. The requirement varies. The teacher only prescribed 300 shakes per session. The book of his grand master is 164 shakes for a minute only, >500 shakes for serious problems. According to the book, it is good for indigestion, slight food poisoning, stomach gas, prostrate problems, massage internal organs, especially for strengthening kidney, help in rejuvenation etc. For tinnitus, TCM usually thinks it is kidney function weakened. Kidney and ears are related. So this method should theoretically help.- 57 replies

Nowadays Chinese people are still very racist. Just go to Chinese forums and see how they insult other races and countries. However, Chinese seldom physically bully other races. -

Bill Maher is right- The wet markets plus the Wuhan lab
Master Logray replied to Immortal4life's topic in The Rabbit Hole
The point is, it is the culture to eat a wide range of animals, reptiles and insects. It is commonly said everything with 4 legs can be eaten except a table. During the capture, domestication, transport, in the market to the kitchens, there are just too many chances of diseases come to humans. TCM also makes use of animal parts. -

Heard the same thing in 2003. May be more discreet now. If they can ban eating dogs and cats, it would be a real improvement. Even today a government agency talking about the medicinal value of white dolphins. But it was quickly withdrawn. -

In spite of all the happenings these 4+ months, the China government has not yet reported any result on the origin of the case. If the virus is not leaked from the lab, then the whatever species of animals carrying the virus would still be running around Wuhan and can infect the population again, perhaps with mutation too. This is worrisome. -
yuan qi,yuan jing, yuan shen - transumtation goal ?
Master Logray replied to waterdrop's topic in Daoist Discussion
It depends on the individual school of practice. Many are for pure postnatal only, seldom ventures into mind and spirit training. -
Spontaneous Chikung is generally avoided even with instructors as it is prone to problems. TCMwise, drawing the energy down can be helped safely by 1: Massage acupuncture point YongChuan (the gushing spring) https://tcmwiki.com/wiki/ζΆζ³, 2: Immerse the feet into hot water, may be add some salt.

I have the same theory some time ago. What do you do with samples? Their cousins are being sold at the wet market over the street. Why not just sell them? It happens all the time in factories. Staff sells off any unused materials, not to standard products etc. -

The Postnatal versions, fully mastered, can achieve longevity - which means may be up to 120 years with acceptable health, may be even some special powers, but nothing extraordinary. -

How effective are the Taoist practices that you do?
Master Logray replied to AstralProjectee's topic in General Discussion
To give you a legitimate answer, the eastern tradition is much unlike that of western. Aleister Crowley explained that Magick works like science, how much input, how much output. Things work on formula just like natural science. Eastern traditions are quite personalized. They are inner workings, feelings, personal experiences. Most of them could not be easily described, not to mention measured and compared. In meditations, students are expected to ignore all phenomenons (e.g. ESP). Paying attention to the phenomenons, which is different for every person in different stage, is full of perils. As anamatva says, it is a journey alone, because each person's journey is different. For real masters, they tend to keep a low profile to keep out of troubles and avoid being caught with too much attentions. To be humble and humility are basic requirements.
