Brilliant! Biden says, You don't have to like their views, (to make law) you just have to Fight and Beat them. Somehow I thought he was going to say negotiate , or ,respect, or come to an accord... I must be old. Ooh, so then Biden tries to rewrite his point and Now says that he knows how people can work together. What a bs artist!

They still can, if they 1 ) have a private server that can cover it , 2) pay an advertising firm to release it. 3) they can accept a reasonable delay , since instantaneous-ness is not really required 4) they can still relay through the network and credit anyone who presents their ad with a premium for releasing it at 7:15 Since I did not promote an existing peer to peer network , merely described a network that you likened to a peer to peer network , and I said that some issues would still need to be ironed out, I dont have to defend peer to peer networks that exist. The importance of privacy , justifies some adjustment of the expectations that a person would have for a platform. If you cant do a promo code simultaneous to a million cola consumers using peer to peer - too bad. Use a sales gimmick that will work. Anything one wants to show to a million people , isn't in need of any privacy protection. What does need protection is the privacy of individuals. Facebook sells personal data .. which can be used against the individual , centralizing censorship , or attributing virtue scores also, violate privacy and freedoms of individuals. .... Didnt we already discuss this a long time ago , I'm getting the de ja vous vibe. ..... anyway if you have a better counter offer , lets hear it , lets hear how you want to approach consumer protection in this arena..Its my turn to take a few pot shots

What business needs to handle millions simultaneously? There's no reason 50 Cher followers could each rebroadcast her breakfast if they want to, to the next 50. ( If Cher - post to Garfunkle ,, if Garfunkle- notify Grassley and Beto. ) Again , you are deciding that the set up has to be the same as Facebook now, filter the number of contacts to the functional number you can handle. Businesses, or Cher , can scale up their private server. The idea is decentralization.

Ill take your word for it , but you don't have a million friends , and neither do I. Technical difficulties may need to be addressed , but there's no reason why Facebook's model needs to be re-created - Going 'viral' serves no real purpose , that set up is designed to force the idea of giant servers that need to be maintained ,, by someone ,, and that someone ,, now has access to all sorts of data ,, controls that data. If the idea is similar to peer to peer , fine. Nobody in China really needs to watch a vid of my cat. Think outside the box , do something else. Parler , mimics facebook , and will face the same mission creep IMO.

You're probably right , you're stuck , the ups and downs have left you pinned to habits you trust. You cant find your way out of the plastic bag unless.......

I couldn't say if any of that is fact , or not ,, but if so..it makes me wonder if AOC is being so handled ultimately... It would make sense , Somehow she ends up chairing in the house , and siphoning influence from the Speaker ?? They asked her who she would endorse for president , she curls up to make herself look small - as if nobody told her yet what to say on that subject ... or maybe she doesn't know what an endorsement is ?! ... But at least we know the 'animus was real'

I figure the Daoist perception of ornament ,is that it ends up being a spiritual burden. Though we regularly opt for wealth and status , there is a hidden catch. How many hours spent on Facebook? How many hours on grooming and shopping? How tied are we to the source of our current paycheck , perhaps dissuaded from following a passion ? Moving ? Etc. Chuang chose to drag his ass around in the mud than be harnessed into self imposed setvitude, at court.

The soul is nourished by the peace and order of the formless. These translations all ,at the end, deviate from the progression established at the start. Long ago , someone wanted to promote speech order fear of death and assertive control . So they twisted the ending to fit the conventional mindset. Because yin leads to yang, the poem is supposed to return to the start, a perpetuating cycle. That's why they fall short... As Dawei touches on.

digitalmarketinginstitute.com "The United States ranks 24th in the world in average social media usage time at two hours and one minute while Canada is placed 30th at one hour and 48 minutes. Over the last decade or so, social media has evolved from a way to communicate with long lost friends to the ultimate method of seeking anything informational. Whether it's for business, news, marketing or just fun, people worldwide are utilizing social media for various meaningful purposes. Though it is more accessible everywhere than ever before, some countries and regions access certain platforms more than other channels. Reviewing statistics outlining such usage is a fantastic way to inform your international digital marketing strategy. Improve the way you promote over social media and grow your market by understanding which countries use which social platforms. Which Countries Use Social Media the Most? Have you ever been curious as to which country is the social media kingpin? Well, in Manila, social media seems to be the main thriller. As of 2018, the Philippines has the highest social media usage rate in the world, according to the 2018 Global Digital Report. That is a title the country has also held for the last two years. Users in the Philippines spend an average of three hours and 57 minutes every day on social media. That is nearly one-third of the time they spend on the internet daily (nine hours and 29 minutes), ranking the Philippines second worldwide for internet use next to Thailand. You'll find 67 million residents in the Philippines using Facebook while another 10 million surf Instagram. Over 10% of social media users take to YouTube in the southeastern Asian nation as well."

If phones provide the food that these brains crave ; Is there a chance that its not a bad thing , but a good one? We-They, choose it , they can have it 'On Demand', they can reserve their privacy , postpone annoyances , manage their affairs , be entertained , and so forth. For someone who wants to get away from the insanity , it allows some connection anyway. Yeah it has changed interactions, and there is indeed an upheaval going on because of this invention, but I can do no more than guess at where we will end up. Certainly many of the old paradigms and basic social issues will have to be revisited. Things society thought resolved.

Here's an example of cultural blindness , It is not in fact fundamentally intuitive to think the world is flat. Its also not intuitively round. Intuitively , it is crooked , it has mountains valleys and seas isn't shaped in any known geometric configuration. One can see boats drop below the horizon from land , and from the boat see the lands edge drop as well. To have a flat idea of the world , one needs to have an idea of there being a 'world' beyond the familiar, and be exposed to flat representations like maps. 3000 years ago they already knew as mathematical fact that the world was roundish, and it was the advance of mapmakers which induced the idea that it was flat. When a 'primitively educated' person points describes things as relatively being 'over there'... and points , they are in fact quite accurate on the scale at which they are discussing the location , and if a thing is up in a tree or on a mountain , over there , is on an inclined angle ,, not flat. Human beings have been sea-faring for tens of thousands of years , they saw the horizon , and it wasn't flat; to see a curved horizon , and see ships drop beneath it , and say that the earth is flat, is to have been contaminated by wrong thinking. -
Toggle ? Mine too Gateway, disables or enabled in Device Manager. I disagree however that I should bash the cultures of people other than my own , and shouldn't bash my own either. ... And by bashing , I mean making negative generalizations without a valid functional need. But sometimes I indulge,,,, I suppose,,,,because I don't remember really. From where do we derive the expectation that gatherings of apes should result in wise behavior patterns? And why would it not be wise to have strong soldiers , when surrounded by other violent apes throwing barbs of their own?

We think we will all have to ,, see how events unroll. We will have an election , and y'all have an exit to materialize. .. In the face of corrupt authority ,and brazen stupidity of our compatriots.

Not really, just the part of Igore in that movie, Young Frankenstein?

I propose that 'doing' in this context is not simply the enacting motion, or speaking words, its willfully fighting the objective tide. If I used colloquial speech I might tell somebody that they should "Behave reasonably",, but what the heck does that even mean! I might suggest following ones true instincts , but what the hell are your genuine instinct? Be yourself , but who are you? To define reason, genuineness, self, one must see that there is an objective truth from which one has diverged. And so the masters suggested one get back to the holistic and objective truth to have virtue. and such behavior is not a 'doing' since the events are propagating through one, un-self-impeded. .

No contradiction..you could think it's ironic, or counterintuitive, but it's just a logically accurate view.

When Bored It's Time To Argue About Climate Change

Plan ahead of time. Plan so freaking far ahead that you need a calendar to remind you. You will propel yourself to all sorts of things when you aren't heedful of the dissuasive issues. People have ideas, but then they say "Nah". Don't say Nah so much. -
Mr Bean,- Atkinson ,close second.. ,Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin. Oh boy those were funny! Also the crews of Seinfeld and Monty Python, those had more staying power, George Carlin ,also great , but that was a lot agreeing more than just hearty laughing.

Makes sense to me, The thing this method won't allow, is viral millions of viewers per hour to my one phone, .. but,.. I don't know that many people, and don't care to supply all those strangers anyway. Each person could scale up their device as they chose ,perhaps be paid as an advertiser, to do exactly that n pay your phone bill to boot.

Hang with me a sec, I ,as a user can really only read one page at a time. Right? Two eyes, one portion of a page at a time. That is true for every single individual using a file server. So for each ..phone, the actual data load is one page at a time, which takes virtually no time to load... And I can store all the data I would even choose to share on this phone.. So why the heck does a file server need to be in the mix at all? It is temporary storage stop which allows any provider of the server the right to look at and sell your private info, so salesmen can squeeze more money out of YOU or me. How much upload time per day, does your personal social life really use? Realistically. ... Hold your own data, allow others to access it, and you don't need to feed Zuckerberg. No?
