Thats a really good quirky question , to say its findable we'd need to determine what finding is, but ,, Im thinking that all 'finding' perhaps requires , 1 the thoughts of things not being as one might want , ( having dissatisfaction , untruth ,need etc) 2 the thoughts of things now being as one would want (not having dissatisfaction , untruth ,need etc) Effort may or may not be required to 'find' things right? Borrowing the perspective of the Tao itself , if it had perspective, That which is , is , right? That which is not , is not right? Thats all there is and all that is not. right? ( Tao cant make a mistake or have an illusion ,don't you agree? ) So There is no , ..'well somewhat it is , and perhaps a bit of it isnt..' Nor is there any , 'things should be this other way but arent' All things always ARE .( at least somewhere ! ) So no 'finding' happens from the perspective of Tao. You and I on the other hand , can or do- have some self -preserving need , want , untruth ,injustice etc in our mind. So any finding that may be done must be done by us , in our mind. any holes in that?

As for Mr Liu....However, having made discriminations, can one call it "not speaking If he can call speaking of Tao slander , can one call it not asserting that Tao is 'other' than the slander?

Since this is a question , then I can give reply , "Essentially, since in the first place the Tao has no name, how can it be discussed? Well now he has given it a name .. Tao .. so that clearly is not an obstacle, in the general usage of 'names' If he was called Chuang (or similar) clearly his name doesnt represent all of him all he may be and all he once was, yet he may be spoken of . ...and though the name of Tao that we might use , may not be perfect , but about it -like anything else ,,we may speak. Names in the sense of Plato's idea forms similarly were spoken of though they were also imperfect describers of the perfect. Patonic forms are the manifestations of things , such as a bird flapping , is a form ,,, its what the thing was presenting ,as it was . Todays terminology re: form , is usually a things shape , and things without shape may be discussed too ( like color electrical potential and so forth ), Even if one is looking at form from the platonic viewpoint , Tao presents manifestatiions , and we may infer its 'rules' and the like ... It just should be understood , that words are imperfect describers - once thats understood one need not be silent. Descriminations may be made about the indistinct , if one chooses a platform from which to view them ,,, for instance cold versus hot , clearly the vector of becoming hotter , is the inverse of the vector becoming colder , and we can use our skin as an arbitrary reference point. So In this passage he may be simply be using rhetoric , or he may be testing the reader... but ultimately its true , that without having a non-arbitrary standpoint from which to consider things discriminations may not be made while being perfectly accurate. and so anyone but the perfect , can talk about the Tao

Catholic Masses can be done in different manners , there could be singing of various types , it could be presented in different fashions,, but I agree , no , there is little real spiritual work done at a christian mass IMO, ( its quite a stark thing from my perspective now just how SO... that is) the sentiments are generally private though there are actions which occasion certain sentiments , like confession , communion , psalms ,,etc. The church of my childhood was gothically beautiful , and the holiday services were really grand , If you do end up going to a catholic mass A ) just copy everyone else, and B.) go for Christmas. they may have candles and flowers and frankincense going on. In some versions of Taoism one 'unites Yin and Yang ' physically with an unimportant partner and irrespective of 'evil-lust based sentiments' ... just sayin' -

Is there a known practice on how to increase the Energy of Intention? ..and how a similar technique apparently bypasses all Karma

They dont believe in gravity either ? -
I'd suspect Surrendering, allowing the impulse , indulging the attatchment to sugary self placation , isnt going to increase your control or your health , unless its the lesser evil ( vs giving up entirely). The body isnt really built for high sugar intake but youre feeling that the better diet the rest of the time would counter that, and yes Id think that would be true, even though I dont think highly of the vegan thing either.BUT it does get people to eat more vegetables and fruit and beans, which is probably a good thing. Folks often overlook that starches are chains of glucose , yes with a lower glycemic index, so a big bowl of rice or pasta is still basically a big bowl of sugar, it just doesnt dump into the bloodstream as fast. Would you feel OK eating a big bowl of rice ? if so , then you likely shouldnt have much problem with a weekly ice-cream binge once a week. Thats assuming you arent diabetic or borderline.

I was reading- my sources book further, and , it looks like he is describing the physical qualities of the breathing process rather than describing the energy itself, with " fine chi" being slowly delicately and deeply derived. ( similarly to- as Dae and Dawei seem to describe it) _ but the book seems to be compilation and one may have to tease out the thoughts of particular sources. -

Yes , I can , ,, santa Claus creeped me out as a kid. It wasnt the suit ,or the beard or any of that really , it was the juxtaposition of adults all acting like it was real , when It clearly wasnt , that lent the situation a bizzaro unhealthy crazy flavor. And I can see perhaps the stained glass and hanging corpses , turns a church into a bizzarro dungeon , OR it could be sentiments about being out of ones territory , alienated , jugement and hell etc etc. I wonder if phobias revolve around the need to maintain ones sanity... anyway however that may be , clearly the idea is that by dealing with things one rebels against there may be potential for growth,, thing is, that I dont think every growth is desirable, I like my ego worldview gender identity etc and transgression of those , intentional humiliation of those , I just dont consider to be growth Id want. People also grow cold , confused , angry, insecure etc. -

No doubt , If Id had better parenting, my attitudes wouldnt have needed the upgrade -
At least one Tao bum attested to it , Im sure youve read plenty of levitation things , at least one Chuangtze passage has been read that way ,, and in one of the interview .pdf's in our forum-thread , I just in passing read that in converting shen to Tao? the constraint to physical laws is removed. ( but its just not a thing I sincerely entertain as possible really - so I didnt pay much attention , I just think it would be really nifty)
-
Nah, the other definition , as in .. make unneccesary , as in Vengeance is mine .... ( and not yours to effect ) "Ill handle it , you just go on and be better than they are ,rather than follow them to hell."
