The personality types seem a similar tool, for inspection, like the images of these gods and goddesses. ... alas, its difficult to depict nothingness.

Is it possible to have the the PPD section show-sort in order of last entry rather alphabetical ?

Thanks for looking.

Wheat in particular seems to be problematical , for me as well. Seems a surprisingly common condition , considering all the people I see eating it though. And on top of that you have to consider diabetics re: the carb content.

Desensitization has its value, but what I was talking about , with Kali, was that understanding the image changes the way we react to it. , kind of like getting to know a scary looking person , and they turn out to be really cool. Then the looks ,no longer indicate what you took them for originally. I think, that in the Tibetan book of the dead , there are these scary beings , and one needs to know what to do with them , in order to move along , so they are potentially object lessons. I suppose Any of the letter-group -label people can end up behaving on either side of society.

Me? I dont get what it means when the arrows point at these minds I never heard of, though I do like the use of flow charts.

No worries, I was told that everyone in ones dreams represents aspects of themselves, its you seeing you in the bath.
-
I found this ,, , but I don't endorse its veracity Bubble Bath To dream that you or someone else is taking a bubble bath indicates that you are totally at ease and feel comfortable with your life. You no longer have any anxieties or troubles, and your mind is full of optimism and hope. Alternatively, dreaming of a bubble bath suggests a desire for a loving, romantic encounter.

THACS, Can you tell me what the arrows and labels in those diagrams mean ? Re System mind and awareness mind, and between the squares?

White Rabbit, I think I did test out as INTJ but lost track of what it means, I would be the same either way, right? In Campbells book I saw an image of Kali I liked. It was my impression that such are symbols of complicated ideas. Even if they seem fearsome, one who comes to terms with the concepts favorably , may find they no longer feel the same about the symbol.

There are many ways to run a life. We had some gnats flying at work once, tiny black floating dots . Like a single screen pixel , they were nearly impossible to focus your eyes on. and so I clapped mostly in vain while they drifted around, and lived out the brief time alloted.

You may indeed look at it that way. I dont, but I am not speaking for anyone but myself. As I see it , if there is goodness and badness it lives in the hearts of men, and we do indeed judge ourselves ,and others, by the standards we hold. I think gods were invented to remove this from the hands of individuals, but there it resides regardless.. Just as laws exist to get everyone on the same page, religions attempt the same, and the attempts are geared to aim us in the direction which our hearts will understand as right. Sometimes circumstances placed before us have simple and obvious moral solutions, sometimes the greater view is not so obvious, or is obscured by the immediate circumstance. The more removed men are from the obvious, the greater the importance of following general principles , and the more difficult it is to know if one is doing the right thing, but that doesnt mean the right thing is to only attend to the immediate...nor does it mean that the person whos eyes you look into, should be appropriate for sacrifice to remote goals.

Just kidding, Since I was never oriented to the military, I am not saying the following out of some personal bias due to service.... The sincerity of such men, who have both served, and yet still have such strong convictions about the merit of peace ,and harmony, and even gentleness, makes an ironic sense to me. They do not arrive at their faith from a fear of violence or some kind of attempt at seeming angelic, and so I am forced to take this , again, seeming, irony into account , when considering Daoist ethics. One needs to understand the message in a way that fits this manly truth, not doubt the men. Going far far back, martial arts have been included right along with spiritual teachings , its not a quirk or anomaly, or contradiction. Keeping this in mind, greatly changes the conclusions that one may construe ,were the intended meanings of Daoist and Buddhist texts. IMO

Im thinking , One still ends up having to do a lot of scanning relative to having them all self sorting like the other sections do. For me , I'm not really interested in bringing up threads which even the OP has forgotten about years ago, and I figure it might often be annoying for me to do that. It seems that it would be an improvement ,exposure-wise to be 'turning over' the 'headlining PPD' exposing threads to passers by, (like having candy bars at the checkout , so that even if one wasn't really thinking about candy, they might be temped to take a peek, because there's interesting stuff in there, . ( and a secret reason) )

In case it seems I implied you did anything wrong ,, I havent , I was just curious, and your response answers that ,thanks.
-
Can you be more particular , what you feel I am grasping at or about? If I were to just speak freely, the superego censorship in my head would be gone , that is also part of me and , I cannot respond genuinely by suppressing it. It cares how my words are to be read ,, what the impacts will be.

I didnt equate discourse with arguing, I said if it used like that then the point is valid, which means that it may not be used like that. There are certain rhetorical tricks , which when used , indicate to me, that there is the goal of trumping a point on rhetorical grounds, not necessarily, the goal of coming to the truest representation of reality. So we may agree fairly closely on the subject of the potential value of discourse which is done correctly, often though its not.
-
Ok... I suppose that could be true, depending on your definitions. I think there is something, and so there is everything, for sure. May I ask, for you personally, Limahong, what is your goal , your plan , for whatever your exertions , regarding Daoism? and why? Feel comfortable to keep it to yourself if you wish, and know there are several people I wonder this about.

Ironically, pine nuts taste like nothingness.

Wayne Dyers work is a bit like chicken soup. A bit of everything is in there, if you like it it may be good for you. And I'd rather have something else.

Umm, I wouldn't have chosen those analogies.
