Advice please: Insomnia and headaches worse after seeing healer
mike 134 replied to kudos100's topic in General Discussion
I've been fighting against this for years now, and I consider myself somewhat of an expert. Most methods you see floating around are slow, passive, and nonspecific. Like relaxing, exercising, eating healthy foods, etc. By the time you have enough stuff stuck in your head to cause insomnia, these methods will not be enough, and you will need to take a more active approach. The energy, or whatever you want to call it, flows in specific paths. The path it takes going down is the front limb of the micro cosmic orbit, starting from the top of your head and going down the front of your body. That means your forehead, nose bridge, down your tongue (keep the tip of the tongue pressed against your hard palate), chin, front of neck, front of chest, and the front of your belly. You need to place all of your concentration to the top of your head. Gentle attention is not enough. You need to fight, grit your teeth, and put every ounce of your sweat, blood, and determination into focus up there. Then push down hard, down the path I described above, ending in your belly. Then start at the top again, and push down again. Keep doing this, and eventually you will feel a stream of heat flowing downwards. That's the beautiful sensation of energy getting the @#%@ out of your head and back to your belly where it belongs. -
I used to take some herbal supplements but then I realized you can never really be sure what's inside. You don't want toxic substances or pesticides accumulating in your body from taking unknown herbs. I think a good diet is better than any herbs or supplements. For micronutrients I do this every day: 2 cups of blueberries leafy green and purple veggies several pieces of dark chocolate multivitamin fish oil 3600 mg For macros I keep it whole and unprocessed, like chicken breast, greek yogurt, organic milk (protein), oatmeal (carbs), and nuts (fats).

how do you find a legit practitioner / teacher / instructor ?
mike 134 posted a topic in General Discussion
I'm sick of doing home DIY stuff to cure my kundalini mess. I'm going to find live help. Fortunately, I will be moving in a few weeks to a much, much larger city than I am currently in, and there are vastly more options available. The problem is that I don't know where exactly to turn. I need to find somebody specifically knowledgeable about kundalini syndrome. I see some "kundalini yoga" studios, but they are teaching the same stuff to the general public (without kundalini problems). Doing "kundalini yoga" is probably just going to make me worse, and many instructors seem to be hipster phaggots with fake hindu names, and not much older than me. Should I try TCM ? Do TCM practitioners know about kundalini ? How do I know who is good ?? Should I look for somebody asian or are white ppl just as good ? Thanks. -

^^ Thanks for the link dude, I'll check him out. Who is this "Tao Semko" guy BTW ? I saw a youtube video of him and he seemed pretty chill. But then I stumbled on his website and for a time he was offering some "distance energy" thing on skype some weeks back. Dafuq ??? Bite back -

Miami Dade county. Not NY or LA but pretty big. I googled Robert Bruce. Looks like he's in Australia. Wish I was going there. And I do not care if its full or partial, because its gonna be zero. -

OK so you're telling me I should find somebody originally from China or India right? Yeah I'm 100% sure its physio kundalini syndrome I've been bitching about it for 3 years now on this forum lol. There's nobody who can help me in my podunk little city. I'm glad I'm going to GTFO soon. -
I'm wondering if anybody here knows about this. Before I got full blown physio kundalini syndrome a couple of years ago (along with all the nasty stuff), I had this 6 month "prodrome", warning, or transition period, however you want to say it. Basically there were definite changes to my body compared to normal, but once the "real" kundalini symptoms started, this transition state disappeared. It affected me in a lot of really fascinating ways- 1. I had WAY WAY more energy than before. It felt like my body was supercharged. I didn't want to sit still. I walked faster. I talked faster. I thought faster. I could breeze through an hour's worth of work in only 20 minutes. My head was buzzing with fresh, innovative ideas. 2. Despite this, my sleep was good. I got a full night's sleep every single night. I had really vivid dreams, much more than before, with lucid dreams practically nightly. I could even decide what I wanted to dream about. 3. Mood and feelings were increased. I felt good for no apparent reason. Every morning when I got up I would be like, FUCK YEAH, I'm awesome, glad to be alive ! I had a greater range of emotion than ever before. 4. Confidence, ego, and arrogance were way up. I used to hate public speaking, but suddenly I was able to give speeches in packed conferences with little preparation. It felt completely natural to me. I was hitting on every sloot in sight. Even married ones. I felt like I was the shit, and I didn't give a shit about what other people thought of me. 5. Temper also increased. I got into shouting matches. Almost got into fistfights over trivial things. I remember having one bout of severe rage that frankly frightened a coworker. 6. Sexual prowess was down very very slightly. Maybe 5% It was noticeable, but barely. My sexual ability was so high to begin with that 5% is nothing, so I was not bothered. OK, so basically I am wondering what the heck happened during this 6 month time. This was seriously the best time of my life. I was like being high, but at night I was able to rest. It was like my skills in every single category were increased drastically, except that 5% decrease in libido, which I will gladly trade. I truly believe this is the best natural state that man can experience, far far superior to actual kundalini. It really pissed me off that it all ended once I got full blown kundalini syndrome, and all of a sudden I couldn't sleep, started having physical symptoms like twitches and energetic sensations. I would give a lot to return to that 6 month state. I wonder what it is? Has anyone experienced anything like this ? Is it remotely possible to experience it again ??? Thanks.

Stealing a plane barefoot, flying it without aviation knowledge ? Dude's alpha as fuk. They're making a movie about him. Too bad he's still in jail I'd free him in a heartbeat.

Relaxing is hard as hell. Why do you think alcohol, benzos, and pot are so popular ???
-
bingo ! That's actually the word I use for it too. Wouldn't it be awesome to be always hypomanic ? You'd be as happy as you can possibly be, without that final straw that brings about full blown mania. I dunno about having the power of Hiroshima bottled inside though. I would blow my top so bad. I remember once running down the street at night screaming expletives. Any more energy and I would have done it naked during the daytime hahaha. Not BS, I think he's talking about Colton Harris AKA the barefoot bandit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colton_Harris-Moore He was like 19 though.

Too much exercise. I know, it sounds silly, but that's what happened. I even noticed increased energy right after workouts during that time span. I thought it was due to endorphins (runner's high). I was dead wrong. dafuq ???
-
You see, that was the beauty of it. I didn't have to do anything. No practices. I just lived my life normally, ate whatever I liked, ejaculated daily, etc. You are right about being able to experience even more energy than this. But I don't think its possible in a safe manner. During much of that time I felt like I was on the edge. Just a little bit more energy would have pushed me over. And that's exactly what eventually happened. Maybe I can squeeze it back into that containment you mentioned ??? In videogames, movies, and against my enemies

Also, the reason why you should lift (and not just eat more), is that lifting puts your body in an anabolic state. You will use the nutrients in your food to build up mass. If you don't lift, those nutrients will basically go to waste. Are you vegetarian or vegan ? If you are vegan, then quit being vegan.

Bruce Lee looked like that because he had less than 3% body fat. That's basically impossible unless if you are a genetic freak of nature AND you spend hours a day training. There is no way you will look like him. The best male physique is the "ottermode" (google it). Girls love that physique the most. If you are legit skinny (and not just skinnyfat) , it will only take a year of lifting to look like that. You don't even have to eat particularly clean, as long as you get your calories and protein. If you can't gain weight it just means you are not eating enough. You're really in a great position. Most guys have to learn to count macros and go through bulking and cutting cycles to look good. Your height on the other hand........

Does anyone have experience with taking supplements and eating the right foods for libido ? Been experimenting with poses and postures forever now with ambivalent results. Maybe taking pills is what I need. I'm thinking about... Fish oil, super high doses, like 12 pills a day ZMA (combo of Zinc monomethionine and aspartate and Magnesium Aspartate) Lots of blueberries (antioxidants) Dark chocolate (flavinoids) Hoping to get some libido gains without messing up my sleep.

taking supplements just as good as practices ? for libido
mike 134 replied to mike 134's topic in Healthy Bums
Woah, didn't expect so many replies. Quick update, I went out, bought some zinc, mg, fish oil, started eating dark chocolate. Sex drive is def way up. But I don't know if it was actually caused by these supplenments. I almost seem to get random surges of libido at times for a week or two before it goes AWOL for a month. So I don't know if its something I actually did or totally random. I need to keep experimenting. -
So start lifting, and drink mass building shakes with whey (Google it).

You are in a great position. This means you can lift weights and gain muscle with minimal fat gain. Most ppl when they bulk they also gain fat, so they have to cut. You don't have to do any of that.

You know, I'm miscing right now and I see this thread where somebody claims his libido is way up from doing squats 4x/week. Is there a connection here? In both exercises you are working out the quad muscles (obviously much more so doing squats with heavy weights). http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=162058153 -

Hey thx for the precise diet Andrei. I know exactly what you are talking about, the Orgasmic Diet by Marrena Lindberg. I just purchased the vitamins today, will give it a go. You mean like this dude ? ummmm, that doesn't do anything. Seriously, how in the world is that supposed to produce ANY sort of physiologic effect ?? You're just standing there, knees slightly bent, pretending you're hugging a big tree or whatever. I mean, really ??? Maybe you're supposed to put dumbbells in your hands and do some squats or something ?? -
How to use/make money off sustainable home ideas/creations/inventions
mike 134 replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
????? You make money on this the same way you make money on every other design. You patent your design. Make a prototype, If its really an awesome product, you can approach people in that industry (in this case housing/construction) and perhaps you can sell your patent or license it. Or you can raise money through investors and produce the product directly, and sell it yourself. None of this is easy. It sounds like an expensive product so you'll need a lot of capital. But few investors will invest in you if you don't have any demonstrated sales, so you'll have to initially self fund. The patent itself will cost thousands. Also I doubt you can pull this off yourself, you will need business partners of like mind (who can help you with funding). -
Why are there NO reputable writings or research on kundalini ?
mike 134 posted a topic in General Discussion
So I went on the NCBI Pubmed database and typed in "kundalini" as my search word. I got only 24 results. Of these, 22 are about using yoga/meditation as an alternative therapy for a variety of established illnesses. Only two actually discuss "kundalini syndrome"; one is the classic Greyson paper "Near-death experiences and the physio-kundalini syndrome"; the other is a case report written in Danish, published in 1995, describing two patients diagnosed with schizophrenia whom the authors suspect were actually having kundalini experiences. That's it. In the entire sphere of human medical knowledge there are only two measly papers describing this condition. And of course nobody is doing any kind of clinical research on it. Meanwhile, searching for "paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria", a very very rare disease having an incidence of 1 per million per year, gives 3,270 results. I can think of only 3 reasons why there is practically no reputable literature on kundalini. 1. It must be incredibly rare, probably 1 in several hundred thousand to a million. 2. The majority of cases are probably caused by drug use, and thus given a diagnosis of drug induced psychosis. 3. The remainder are given a diagnosis of either bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, like the two patients in Denmark. Any thoughts ??? -

Lol I'm talking about reputable sources. That site is pure BS. 100% speculation from somebody who read a biology textbook. No sources cited. -

Oh, and regarding the language thing, pretty much everything of note in medicine is published in English, even though a very large portion of papers published are not from anglophone countries. At the very minimum there is an English abstract.
