  1. No, there's no money involved. But there's also no money in rare diseases. As I pointed out above, paroxysmal nocturnal hematuria is very rare, but there is nevertheless a large body of literature on it. So money is not the only reason.
  2. how does one reach enlightenment?

Haha with drugs you can do it instantly.
  3. Water

I sense opportunity. I'd bet pretty much any young guy who has a half decent job would be a god to the young women there...
  4. After kundalini awakening, what next?

If you're lucky, nothing. If not, well, keep those benzos in handy...
  5. Chi Gong + Weight Training

Oh and of course do everything with good form and make sure you eat.
  6. Chi Gong + Weight Training

I don't do chi gong but you need to warm up your shoulders. Try these warm up exercises Also I always do a light warmup set before my real sets. So for shoulders I'll do some lateral raises with 5-10 lb dumbbells and like 40-50 lbs shoulder presses. Also how many times a week do you lift ? I only lift twice a week. Usually chest/shoulders/triceps on Mondays and biceps/back on Thursdays. Not only is there more recovery time but you avoid inadvertently training the same body part on consecutive days. I constantly see people do stuff like this: Monday- chest Tuesday- shoulders Wednesday-triceps/biceps Thursday-back Friday-legs. And I shake my head because guess what, even when you are "only" training your shoulders on Wednesday, you are still using your shoulders (quite heavily might I add) on the other upper body days. So basically you have zero recovery time until the weekend. Don't do this if this is you.
  7. OK so late 2012- Feb 2014 I've been feeling pretty good. Got kundalini syndrome but its been manageable. Been working and getting daily exercise. Occasionally I can't sleep or I'm feeling agitated so I take a Klonipin or Valium. And yes I log onto TTB and complain about kundalini but after a day or two I always feel better, and 99% of the time I take no medication. But then a couple of weeks ago the problems have been flaring up out of nowhere. Insominia, twitching, vibrating, agitation, racing thoughts, lots of body heat, all kundalini stuff. I quickly learned that it was exacerbated by physical exercise. Not just weight lifting or spinal/core exercises but also cardio. Even though I had the EXACT SAME exercise regimen/diet for the last year, and I did not increase it, it was suddenly causing problems. At the very same time my sexuality has changed. I've been complaining forever about waxing and waning libido. But now its permanently back and stronger than ever. It feels like I have 1000% more pleasure receptors in my penis. Its even changed in color. I used to be pink but now its a deep, almost red color, from extra blood flow. So yeah its very nice to have a super high sex drive but NOT at the cost of not being able to sleep. So I stopped exercise entirely, and I'm feeling fine, even great, and sleeping very well. But I can't just sit on my butt forever. Been looking forward to getting a nice beach body for the summer but instead I'm loosing muscle and gaining fat. For the last couple of weeks, every time I step my foot into the gym, I can't sleep that night or the next because of kundalini problems. What's going on here ?? Why the sudden flare up ? Why the link between libido and sleep ? Is there a safe way of getting exercise? Is this permanent or will it go away in a few weeks?
  8. dafuq is happening to me now ?

^^^ errr I listen all right but as soon as something doesn't work I ditch it. Yeah I take melatonin tough to say if it works or not seems like placebo but I mainly take it for antioxidant effects. I think theres like 200% B vitamins in my daily MTV. Yeah I eat a lot of good fats (polyunsaturated) when I'm trying to bulk. Nuts, guacamole, but ever since I've stopped exercise I've been having to eat less so I don't gain belly fat. I have felt perfectly well for a week now, sleeping 8-9+ hours a night. I'll take the rest of this week off. Then next monday I'm gonna start exercising again and see what happens. My libido is still way up even though I'm ejaculating every single day its still high. Goal: keep the libido gains, while still being able to exercise. That would be fuarking awesome.
  9. dafuq is happening to me now ?

Yeah that's a good thought my regimen is pretty intense, and I do squats and free weights. Push-pull-abs-rest and repeat, and lots of cardio. I eat 1 gram of protein / lb body weight. I really suspected overtraining at first, and since I already have kundalini syndrome I figured it would definitely cause a flare up (as opposed to normal people without kundalini syndrome, who get regular overtraining symptoms and "CNS fatigue"). But then again ever since this started six weeks ago I've only gone to the gym only 7-8 times instead of every day like I used to. I figured I would have recovered by now if it was overtraining ?? Its really boring I'm just sitting at home. I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever and sleeping well, but I just can't train. Really frustrating and frankly depressing.
  10. dafuq is happening to me now ?

Thanks for that document I'm gonna look through it. As far as mentally directing energy down legs or just downward, that doesn't really work its like shooting a bear with a BB gun. See if my sex drive returned AND I can exercise without sleep problems then I would essentially consider myself cured. But not exercising really really sucks. If you don't work out its okay but I'm a big fitness fanatic and its getting really depressing. Theres no point in having a high sex drive if you don't look good. You'd be surprised how fast you decondition when you don't exercise. All I want is to 1. sleep 2. be able to exercise 3. sex and 4. maintain mental stability and normal social interactions. No nonsense no weird stuff from kundalini please. It really sucks if life with kundalini is like, you can only choose two or three of 4.
  11. dafuq is happening to me now ?

Yeah I always pop up again when I have problems hahaha.
  12. How did the ppl in your study get these states ? Spontaneously ? Triggered by stressful life events ? Doing yoga/meditation ? Drugs ? Kundalini syndrome ? Mental illness ? I'm sure theres a big difference between people who can deliberatly trigger these states and place them in a cultural or spiritual context, as opposed to those who have other experiences that can cloud their perception of this state, like schizophrenics or unwilling kundalini sufferers.
  13. Epigenetics. Nothing really new. There was a study a few years ago that linked nicotine exposure with epigenetic changes in rats which were passed not only to offspring but also the offspring of offspring, so I'm not surprised that other insults can be passed this way as well. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23106849
  14. OK so I'm trying to find a definitive answer to this question but it seems like there are two opposite schools of thinking. The first goes like this: 1. Kundalini overload is caused by too much kundalini energy. 2. Energy is powered by semen. 3. Therefore, to relieve your symptoms, you ejaculate. The other line of thinking goes: 1. Kundalini overload is caused by RESISTANCE TO kundalini energy flow (blockage). 2. Energy is powered by semen. 3. Therefore, to relieve your symptoms, you REFRAIN from ejaculating. This allows your energy to build up and bulldoze past any resistances/blockages. So which one is correct ? Said another way, lets take two guys suffering from kundalini syndrome. The first guy ejaculates daily or even several times a day. The second guy rarely ejaculates. He goes a month without ejaculating at all and then afterward does maybe 2-4 times a month max. At the end of six months which guy is still having problems, and which one is sleeping soundly at night?
  15. Any weight lifters here?

Do you guys do anything or have to omit anything to protect your spine ? Whenever I do lat pulldowns or overhead presses it causes my kundalini syndrome to flare up. I think its due to spinal tension and compression, and it causes nasty kundalini overload problems, can't sleep, agitation, twitches, etc. So I have to be really careful to keep it in neutral position and use substitute exercises whenever possible, like lateral dumbbell raises for the shoulders instead of presses. My ab exercises are usually isometric like front and side planks to keep the spine neutral, instead of doing crunches and situps. If anybody else lifts and has to deal with kundalini problems I'd like to hear from you. Thanks.
  16. Any weight lifters here?

what kind of scapular issue ? Yesterday I went back to the gym after a 5 day hiatus. I had just recovered from my last workout and was off the sleeping pills. But last night I couldn't sleep again after this workout Had to take more benzos. I was really careful too. Basically did a light routine with less weights than usual. All I did was bicep curls, side lateral raises, front raises, tricep dips, and chest flies, 3 sets of each with 6-12 reps. I kept my spine neutral at all times. The most weight my spine supported yesterday was only 50 pounds (2x 25 lb dumbbells for side lateral raises). And I was still feeling anxious agitated twitchy can't relax or sleep.
  17. Any weight lifters here?

I guess it makes sense if you think about it this way. Yoga 'works' because spinal movements create neurological effects we interpret as 'kundalini'. But then again any sort of spinal movement has the potential to do the same, especially stressful ones like heavy lifting. Nah I don't do the same thing for one hour. I'm on a push pull abs split, so like on pull days when I'm doing lat pulldowns I also do rows, bicep curls, reverse flies, shrugs. 3-4 sets plus warmup is about an hour.
  18. Any weight lifters here?

I try to take walks 30 min- 1 hr most days, its supposed to be good for the spine. But I don't think it really helps. I normally don't do yoga but I googled relaxing yoga and found some stuff. Tried child's pose, legs up the wall pose, abdominal breathing, cooling breath. Doesn't work. I guess these things are no match against heavy weights lol. On Monday I lifted hard for an hour and this caused a kundalini flare up that's just resolving 3 days later despite lots of walking. Insomnia, twitching last couple of nights sucked I had to take valium and klonopin. What's zhan zhuang, just standing in place ? I'm really afraid of getting permanently worse kundalini wise from lifting. Been lifting for months no problems until now. So that means kundalini is getting worse? I'd rather be a skinny unfit guy who doesn't lift than to be aesthetic but going crazy with kundalini problems.
  19. sleep yoga

When's the best time to do some poses for sleep ? I still have probs sleeping. After tossing and turning for 3 hours last night I googled sleep yoga, found some poses on fitness magazine.com. And lol after doing it for a couple of minutes I fell asleep for 5 hours. http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/workout/yoga/poses/yoga-routine-before-sleep/ I know the site says to do them at bedtime or even in bed but I'm wondering if there's any use to doing it during the day. I work out in the afternoon and it would be convenient to just do it then. Thanks.
  20. -been fine for months now -living cleanly, going to bed the same time every day, working out every day, eating healthy. -Monday night tossed and turned in bed until 4 AM. Feeling energy flows everywhere, especially going to my head. Couldn't get rid of it. Twitching everywhere. Had to take Xanax to finally sleep. -last night tossed and turned until 3 AM. Again energy and heat streams everywhere. Finally fell asleep but woke up every 30 minutes. Half awake followed by intense dreams followed by half awake. -got up this morning, tired as hell, eyes bloodshot, agitated, yelling expletives. I hate this kunda fucking lini. EDIT: resolved. Had neck tension which went away on massage and stretching. Felt a big flow downward after that and I'm not congested in the head anymore. Thx for the responses !
  21. damn kundalini at it again

resolved. Had bad neck tension. So that stuff can't flow outta my head. Neck massage + some stretching = fine now. flowing smooth. Thx for the responses ppl !!
  22. damn kundalini at it again

I'm going through those detail instructions thx man. Meanwhile I'm gonna take a long walk today. I could feel head congestion and energy streams. I'm trying my best to push it down the front of my body but it doesn't seem to relieve the pressure.
  23. ketogenic diet

Anybody try this diet before ?? Its basically a very very low carb diet, so low that your body starts to make ketones from fat to fuel the brain instead of using carbs. This apparently exerts a neuro-protective effect and is used as an established treatment for epilepsy. Some people have tried it with anecdotal success for a wide range of neurological conditions and even mental illness. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketogenic_diet#Other_applications I'm wondering if kundalini syndrome can be controlled on this diet????
  24. ejaculation dilemma

Ever since I've had kundalini symptoms I noticed that my orgasms felt different. Instead of being confined to my penis I sometimes get whole body orgasms that involve shaking and involuntary movements. I've also recently noticed that after I orgasm I experience positive mental effects. For hours afterward my mind feels more alert, my thoughts are quicker, I seem to generate more ideas, and I can crack jokes. This is GREAT for social situations and I feel more confident, more spontaneous, ready to lead instead of follow. So I take advantage of this knowledge by masturbating when I wake up in the morning, when I know that during the day I'll have important meetings with important people, or I have to do public presentations. Unfortunately, after I ejaculate my sex drive goes down. So is my erection quality. It takes me longer to get my penis up and sometimes I can't get it up at all if I ejaculate too much. It's limp. Where this causes me the most problems is DATING. When I am meeting girls I need my mind to be quick and ready. I have to be able to make her comfortable, make good conversation, tell jokes, and of course have a general air of confidence. The best way to do this is to ejaculate before the date. But if I do this, then after all my hard work on the date I am physically unable to have sex with her at the end. But if I don't ejaculate before the date, then I feel un-confident, lethargic, emotionless, and boring, and she won't agree to sex due to my poor dating performance. See my catch-22 ?? Is there any way to experience the best of both worlds, that is, be mentally ready to talk to girls, but also penilly ready to have sex ? Thanks.
  25. ejaculation dilemma

Finally some specific advice. Thanks dude. That's actually similar to a trick that I do, although I focus on a somewhat higher point (just below the umbilicus, maybe CV 3 or 4??). I found that it makes the penis feel more sensitive and pleasurable, but only WHILE I'm focusing there. If I switch my focus off even for a second it becomes more numb. For instance, if I'm looking at porn not only am I focused on watching the porn, but I also have to split some of my attention to that point and concentrate on it.
