When the ego learns egoless unity ... and is singularly unique and equal then left brain and right brain integrate into something more than the sum of the parts

By knowing the truth and choosing to embrace the truth rather than something else... live through life and the veil of 'death' ... Oh choosing to embrace the truth can involve the past the present the future and many possibilities some of which may change the past the present the future and many possibilities... Anyone can change ... if one chooses to do it for the better its easier to change for the better...
-
Actually the right side chooses to be bound to the truth which gives them freedom... where as the wrong side chooses the delusion of freedom... and are bound in delusions... everyone ends up in a divine place... some think its heaven... some think its hell... to move from one to the other you just have to have a change of heart/attitude/understanding...

I was told that resorting to certain words reflected negatively upon the intellectual levels of the speaker... cussing words reflect that one still has to learn some better expletives... which is still way below resorting to better ways to express oneself... shifts do happen and pebble do improve...

Your post reminded me of a cartoon I did a while back... from a helicopter one could see down below a dividing wall that separated two sides... there was a doorway ... on each side there was a being looking into the doorway and seeing the being on the other side... on one side it read 'prison entrance' and on the other side it read 'freedom ' ... the curious fact was that those in prison where deceived into thinking they would be bond rather than free if they dare cross the doorway... which was sort of true for those outside the prison where conscious that being bound to the truth set them free... while being free from the truth bind them into a delusion difficult to escape... Yea there is alway a doorway to the other side... if one crosses it one becomes free if one was bound and bound if one was free so one better know what one be before choosing to cross over... Each side would tell the others "you are bound come to this side to be free" "no you want to enslave me on your side"...

Yea shift happens especially when the shift hits the fan... :-) Oh 'f' if for force friendly feelings shifting... Why out of all that I said was that focused upon idea?

Sometimes to experience something one has to give up a belief ... this is sometimes easier said than done... would like to open up the dialogue on dealing with beliefs that tint what we experience and the effective means to ensure the untinted experience be the untinted experience... what ways work to counteract the tinting effects of beliefs...
-
Well when 'what one sees as facts' depends on what one holds to believe the situation can get a bit more convoluted ... especially when the beliefs involved complicate rather than facilitate seeing 'what be' for 'what be'... Some 'beliefs' just can not permit other 'beliefs' existence ... because the existence of the other beliefs exposes the truth and certain beliefs can not exist when the truth is exposed... I had the fortune to had been involved in an interchange where beliefs sort of played a central role though where not the central role, which focused on discovering whatever happened to be. In other words all involved wanted to discover what actually happened rather than what each believed/thought/felt/experienced to have happened. As pointed just now the individuals beliefs did play a role but the idea was to focus on seeing things, not what one believed to be seeing. My position sought to put forth a proposition that would substantially expand the field of study, though it involved substantial changes... including giving up certain beliefs. The plan was rather simple, jointly explore what happened to be independent of the beliefs involved. Easier said than done. A workaround to this involves jointly explore what happened to be including all of the individual beliefs, which then would help us jointly discriminate some beliefs and focus on what happened to be. Put succinctly expand individual possibilities to include more possibilities and then constrain the possibilities to end up with the 'valid' ones... To make a long story short that experience enabled me to realize how the belief language in use alters what we see, how its possible to translate between the belief language in use, how beliefs linger on out of habit and other insights. I was fortunate that the expansion and the contraction would allow me to stay on my original position rather than force me to end up in a different place... though I also was able to let go of part of my original position. It turned out into a rather strange paradoxical interchange... where we started in 100% agreement in apparent disagreement dew to holding different beliefs and ended up disagreeing on the agreements ... it was quite unfortunate that the other lost interest in furthering pursuing the interchange and venturing into the expanded domain... Since then I sort of have been wondering, pondering and exploring over the notion of what it takes to effectively deal with beliefs... who knows maybe this will the the interchange that will lead to that singular discovery that changes everything...

Stosh One can NOT make a person amenable to reason for it is the person who chooses the attitude they will have to reason... I wonder how to deal with contentions bullies while remaining a courteous playful dancer and directing each and everyone into the virtuous behaviors. When we choose the Action of Non-Action in other folks business, we choose a form of interfering just as when we choose to act... thus the question centers on what we will cultivate... and how are we going to help... Will start a new topic on dealing with beliefs to explore a bit this notion... Etc.

Everything, I enjoy pointing certain stuff to wonder and ponder about it. Usually I will feed and cultivate a particular thing to clarify a point... which has to do with the singularity existences of beliefs. Something that I have had in my mind lately has been the notion that one can know good by knowing good. I question the idea that to know bad is something good. I also question the idea that there is no good or bad stuff... Indeed "being afraid all the time and angry" will get so sickening... that eventually one just chooses to stop feeding and cultivating that... and seek truth peace love understanding... I understand how some choose to view lies and nightmares as good things... personally I prefer to view lies and nightmares as lies and nightmares... its like some view 'errors' and failures as lessons rather than view 'errors' and failures as 'errors' and failures and success and learning as success and learning ... One can truely appreciate to fullness of each experience when one just be who one be as well as when one puts certain condition upon ones existence... there has been a disconnection from the one truth of all that is which results in death,,, fortunately there has also been a reconnection which results in life... now be the time to choose which of these you want to endure once and for all...

Claiming 'what is not' is and 'what is' 'is not' ... can easily result in quite a lot of confusion... personally I like to keep it simply simple and claim what be... which involves what is and what is not recognizing what is is and what is not is not. I noticed you did add 'we define as' ... what be be what be even if we define that it isn't it still is... Yes all monsters are messengers in the symbolical sense... of what they are messages of is a whole different thing... some define angels and demons as friend and foes which one considers friends and which one considers foes depends on which side one be on... though upon closer inspection we see they are all angels some good some bad... If you want to believe the " "lie" and "nightmares" are actually higher in truth and higher in vibrational frequency." thats your choice... the same goes for other notions... yes 'All truths are equally valid and equally true' ... but that does not say that all lies are equally invalid and equally false... nor that lies and truth be the same... There are such things as delusion and illusion and lies created by denial of the truth and cultivation of certain stuff. It is true in the presence of God only the truth be allowed... thats why some choose to hide in the shadows rather than live in the light of day... "You just have to 'be in order to see the truth" assumes one be dealing with the truth and divine dreams as being actually higher in truth and higher in vibrational frequency... besides the lower frequencies of matter can resonate with the higher frequencies of mind and spirit ... Just maybe the task at hand involves making this place into a wonderful paradise where only truth, good love joy peace exist... think about it imagine it create it

K I too wonder and ponder about the veracity of the different stances and the 'wider' shift happenings... ( had to put the 'f' in there) ... There are many possibilities ... determining which to embrace and which to reject can be rather complicate when it comes to 'enlightenment'... the solution I have found that works can be summed up as "be it a dream be it real always choose the better ways"... I could go on an on as to the rationale to hedge and bias the outcome so that the perfect solution always results, no matter what happens... That is choose a certain way even in uncertain ways... now compare that to how others prefer to resolve the situation ... They embrace the illusion of certainty rather than accept the uncertainty... it may all boil down to who and what each chooses to believe... Personally I prefer the notion of a loving caring God directing stuff than some arbitrary judge... I believe that a single voice of righteousness suffices to direct and bind to the healthy truthful ways everything... even if spoken by the humblest of being...

That only works with standard cars ... and the key has to be on... and the breaks off... and in the right gear... pushing and releasing the clutch properly helps too... then you have to leave the car on for the battery to charge up... and even then if the battery is dead and gone you just might need to replace it and recycle the old one

play can involve all sort of things, pushing, shoving, flowing and more... just as love, allowance, being, dreams, imaginations, realities there all can involve all sort of stuff... including LIes, truths, and more and it can be imagined... be experienced and more... Oh I often find those who choose not to choose while denying the fact they chosen what they chosen a bit humorous... by the same token those who judge "There is no judgement" in the judgement on non-judgement reminds me that we be bound to judge while free to choose how to do it... that is if you choose to judge that you do not judge and delude yourself from the truth that up to you... I really liked what you said "There is surrender to the truth or there is worship () resistance towards the truth". I seen this as the deception of freedom vs the binding truth that 'sets us free'. Being can choose to accept or reject the truth while rarely being abel to alter what be the truth... though some certainly like to imagine/believe/pretend otherwise... The future past present exists in the eternal now! Again I invite you and others to continue to wonder, ponder and explore the matters at hand ... instead of escaping it! experience it while doing many other stuff... always remember that you can always change the direction of the dream into the bounds of what be good stuff... just imagine it...
-
Yea, most are completely content with what they think about stuff and then use that as the basis for choosing, doing, thinking, feeling etc; few continue to wonder, ponder and explore the matters at hand ... In other words most think to be right and feel completely content with what they think and the notion of continuing on wondering and pondering and exploring to realize the truth becomes a burden rather than an opportunity to learn a bit more. Some do welcome the opportunity to learn even if it means giving up what they thought was right... to embrace what be right... though some just prefer to keep the complete contentment in what they think... Imagination can certainly bring about wonderful stuff ... just like dream.... just make sure you keep it bound within what be good stuff... least you get entangled and bring to be nightmares from which you can't escape...Oh and just in case you get into a nightmare that you can't escape, always remember that you can always change the direction of the dream into the bounds of what be good stuff... so instead of escaping it you experience it while doing many other stuff...

Man the first line almost got me to stop reading it... "enlightenment equal ego death" that sure is the case when the ego is dead--- but when the ego is healthy and alive enlightenment equals full aliveness... i am glad I keep at it a bit longer... "true spiritual work enables us to acknowledge, uncover and ultimately heal" certainly reflects better words, thought these still cultivate and focus on the notion of disease to heal! Acknowledge what be, uncover what can be and ultimately choose to embrace the better ways... For this one has to be willing to accept what be and the possibilities while at the same time letting it go as one chooses to embrace anew the possible reality that be better. While it is possible to take anything in the right way or the wrong way its also possible to always take what be right (even from what be wrong). Your conscious nature is cooking alive and awake, so you're noticing what has made you tick in ways you never could have before. And you get more and more confident that all the stuff happening happens for a reason which enables your freedom of Being and more.

The reflection upon the gem surface stems both from what be out there and from the gems peculiarities ... and maybe even a bit more... lets pay close attention to the glittering surface reflections, to the surface peculiarities, to the gems constitution, creation evolution... including its formation, extraction, preparation and the digger, cutter, polisher, jeweler, bachelor and maiden that embellish and value it. Just realize that the gem is real and the reflections upon its surface be that reflections... While we are at it lets remember Indra, and the Heaven of Indra... and the Creator encompassing all...

Stosh Have to agree there is only what we choose to do and why we do it... Furthermore inherently there is no noble VERSUS liar for there is only truth and what each does determines if they be noble or a liar... To cap it all a single lie suffices to make one into a liar and once a liar always a liar... and that should not distract us from the nobler endeavor of telling the truth... Indeed a single act suffices to condemn us forevermore AND a single act suffices to save us forevermore... The key resides in embracing once and for all that which will suffice to save us forevermore ... I wanted to point out that there are nobles and liars and good and bad... and a bunch of other stuff... Yea I recon than this could get us into an interesting dialogue :-) I believe you already understand quite well what I mean though I mention this to put it on the table... who knows it may even catalyze some other interchange... I liked what you wrote "A lie is an attempt to avoid the social or personal consequence of a truth"... It seems quite related to how some attempt to avoid the truth of recognizing that they erred. To me a liar is someone who does not tell the truth... If one errs and does not claim the truth one becomes a liar... question is will one recognizes the truth and tell it or keep on telling lies... Personally I do not put to much importance in wether someone is a liar or not... is in error or not heck just about everyone is... for at some point just about everyone has told a lie in their existence... and made a mistake... OK Jesus Christ and Immaculate Mary may have never done such a thing ... Still its irrelevant whether it be the noble or the liar that made the statement... because what be relevant is the veracity of the statement... and following through with it... If someone claims to tell the truth... great followthrough and tell the truth... Right now what we choose to do determines what we choose to cultivate... so it is with each instant, thought, action, feeling... Facing the consequence of truth ... when we make an error... we recognize that we did make an error, and choose to embrace the corrected position through reconciliation... You are correct that It is easier to trust after spotting an error, than after scenting a lie...

Nikolai1 In a way, now be the time to choose witch way to head ... in a rather simplified form: Everyone is on the right path... everyone claims to tell the truth... The path has a right way and a wrong way ... there is a noble and a liar... The enlightened choose the right way - the noble tells the truth The deceived choose the wrong way- the liar tells the lie both claim they tell the truth and each does honor to their condition with the exact same words... 'I tell the truth the other lies' is the truth when the noble state the words and is the lie when the liar states the words everyone knows the right way... "tell the truth"... some choose to tell it, and some, well they tell something else... The situation with evil, and other stuff, good, love is that revealing it cultivates it, hiding it cultivates it, accepting it cultivates it... In a way its like karma... a closed circle loop that goes round and round. An eye for an eye, a life for a life, will makes us all blind and dead or all see and live depending on which cycle one be on. That why Jesus thought the way of divine love and instructed to love one another as He loves us... To love one only has to love. Understanding this and doing this is be the hardest thing imaginable and the easiest thing imaginable depending on wether one does not know love or does know love. Its rather esoteric in that the one who need it the most are the least capable of getting it while the ones who need it the least are the ones most capable of getting it. Those who need to learn the most knowledge are the most ignorant and least capable of acquiring it, while those who need to learn the least knowledge are the most knowledgeable and capable of acquiring it. I did and do have difficulty getting people to understand some stuff. Still working on effective means to accomplish this.... please note that accepting it and endorsing it as avoiding it, and opposing is quite far from the proposal I hold. I suppose that the best way to explain it would be in terms of possibilities and realities... some possibilities where intended to be possibilities always where as some of them where intended to be possibilities chosen to become realities... some choose to sow and cultivate 'the wrong' possibilities rather than 'the right' possibilities... If one chooses to allow it stuff has the capacity to affect and change us... be it for good or not... We always are in a position to love... in fact we are bound to love while free to choose what to love... It was curious over the fact that the three states resorted to emptiness rather than use fullness... in a rhetorical way which would you rather have emptiness or fullness? In a way emptiness is analogous to evil... for the emptiness of good is evil... now the emptiness of evil could be considered good if only it actually refrained from mentioning evil and focused on what be good the fullness of good... kind of like the cloudless sky referring to the clouds not being there rather than focusing on a clear sky which focuses on the clarity of the sky. The other day at a gathering someone began to speak and I got worried about the topic... In the past I had observed how individuals have been introduced to all sort of erroneous ways by those seeking to promote the better ways because the talk focuses on the erroneous ways rather than focusing on the correct ways... I was happily surprised that this fellow talked about the lack of faithfulness, lack of prudence, lack of rectitude lack of love and other stuff by referring to the virtues rather than focusing on the vices... The notion that there is no good and bad stems from a schema where the bad seeks to negate the good or be recognized the same as the good because who would pick the bad rather than the good... Will elaborate a bit on Its sort of humorous to me to see certain projection you like to hold and claim while insisting that thats the way things be... For me the world view is one of multiplicity with singular separations and unity. I like to say that our singular uniqueness is what both separates and makes us equals. I will like to make two points, though will focus on just one for the moment. Imagine going from negative infinity to positive infinity. At any given point there are infinite points above and infinite points below. Thus in a way every point is just like every other point... though evidently some points are more positive than others. When everyone is a unique individual it both sets them apart from all other individuals and makes them be part of the set of unique individuals. For the other point I will wait for some occurrence where I see you are projecting something you like to hold and claim while insisting that thats the way things be... I could go look in past posts but would prefer to point it out when I see it tacking place.

The topic of being some kind of reincarnation came up in a different thread and I wanted to elaborate on this in a new topic. So here goes. I was raised believing that we live die and will reincarnate... though this belief is quite different from the general notion pointed to by those who mention reincarnation. The general idea that we live die come back as many times as needed to learn the lesson while appealing contradicted my held beliefs. I was at a crossroad with apparently two roads: 1- reject the validity of reincarnation and keep believing as I did 2- accept the validity of reincarnation and give up believing as I did. The challenge resided in determining what to do. If one knows the truth its rather simple, embrace the true belief, BUT with uncertain knowledge of which belief actually corresponded to what be the true belief choosing what to do is a bit more complicated especially when the stakes be extreme. Should I keep believing what I was told only to discover at the end that It was a lie and I had failed the lesson? Should I embrace the presented belief and at the end discover that it was a lie and I had failed the lesson? what if this particular moment determined my choice on the matter at hand once and for all? Oh and I could go on an on about the issues and implications surrounding this topic though instead will share what I decided to do. I chose an option that sort of maintained and incorporated both beliefs while modifying them a bit. At that crossroad I choose to fly... with the wise light spirits. Now may be the only chance we have to pass the lesson! Sure we may have other opportunities to pass the lesson but why put it off and keep repeating the course? What makes us think that if we had another chance to do it again in the future we would actually choose differently than this time around? Besides in a way each moment we reincarnate and choose anew what to cultivate what to learn what to do. Choose appropriately now and into the future to enable better more enriching experiences... I know that for some what I have just written will contradict their held beliefs. Each now be at a crossroad its up to each to choose what to do now and next... Will it be to: 1- reject the validity of this and keep believing as one does 2- accept the validity of this and give up believing as one does 3-do some other thing... time will reveal what each chooses to do now.

Well FWIIW I am not in a fighting mood :-) ... so I guess its a draw... it can mean that we both win ...
-
another battle, another exercise, another dance, another lesson, another experience... You are on the spot "Events come to us whether we wish those things to come or not, and we must deal with them... " We do get to name them and choose the attitude we will have... and may even have an influence of the events that will follow... which does changes what comes to us... is it an opportunity, a challenge, a temptation, a problem, a solution or something else... So I see you chosen to name it a battle... I guess you are in a fighting mood... so thats the game you want to play for the time being... I will just dance along, exercise, work, play a bit longer who knows maybe you will choose to be in a playful mood and let the battle become a faint memory of games long past and best bound within a possibility that will be a possibility forever...

Nikolai1, While reading your thoughtful response I was reminded of the difficulty I had at one time with sharing a notion... At an event a long time ago when I was just beginning to learn about energy and individuals feeding it... someone said evil is everything bad and hateful we should reject it hate what is bad and hateful. I realized that hating evil only energizes it more the way to counteract evil involves loving evil the evident risk here involves some misunderstanding of what 'loving evil' means... Now as then I opt for "love" seeking a singular presentation for one and all. Now before preceding further let me just state that ... learn about energy and individuals feeding it... Good is everything good and loving we should embrace it love it, appreciate what is good and loving... I realized that loving energizes it more and energizes everything the way to cultivate love involves loving good the evident opportunity here involves some fully understanding of what 'loving' means... Now as then I opt for "love" seeking a singular presentation for one and all. Ok ... on to the notion of the challenge of presenting one dimensional claims at a time that give multiple understandings and apply equally well to all sides... Lets hope people choose to get the complete understanding and impression... My intent is to focus on the truth of the matter to clearly see the matter and better choose what to do next. Presenting the other side of the picture sort of keeps the dualistic notion of stuff rather than focusing on the singular encompassing understanding. if are were doing stuff to show an error we be ourselves doing erroneous stuff! If we were doing stuff to show the truth we be ourselves doing what be correct stuff presenting empty truth as the whole truth is quite different than presenting the whole truth as the whole truth :-) Indeed talking about spirituality can be so hazardous... some feel their ways attacked and attack back! For the sake of audiences, to be logical we must present one-sided and complete stands though the illogical will see this logic illogical and find the illogical to be logical... The question is how to be illogically logical with the illogic to get them to be logical while remaining logic... do this... To be truthful we must present the truth... when it involves two-sided and paradoxical arguments we present the truth and when it involves a singular-sides evident stand we present the truth. Both are highly likely to be misunderstood by those who do not understand and will be understood by those who do understand. At the end of the day, we can only talk and trust that each and everyone will get the truth and become a bit wiser... Why take a risk when there is a safe way? The notion that one needs to understand both fullness and emptiness to understand the true spiritual nature still needs to transcend the dualistic notion which will be understood when one transcends it. Compassion and the ethical life may be misguided or right on the button... We may not be able to truly know what is truly best for a person though that need not keep us from doing it... Some will only be able to understand other people as mortals living in time and space and some will understand other people as mortals living in time and space existing eternally. Its sort of humorous to me to see certain projection you like to hold and claim while insisting that thats the way things be... For me the world view is one of multiplicity with singular separations and unity. I like to say that our singular uniqueness is what both separates and makes us equals... We each know what the right actions in a given situation are... but often choose to ignore it for some reason we deem appropriate... If we do a good deed and others choose not to appreciate what we have done or even choose to reject us because of what we have done... thats their business... The sense of unity be already there... whether we and others recognize it thats a whole different issue... so again you invite us to look at a kind of illusion... maybe even go for the wake up dream... To help people one does not need to think of them as mortals or immortals one just has to help people ... by helping them... Morality is for people who don't undertsand the spiritual life to follow the practices of the spiritual life- those who understand the spiritual life and follow the practices of the spiritual life do not need the rules to follow to follow the rules without rules... hope you find this enrichening and worth your read... best wishes now and always

So if you accept the slapper invitation to slug it out you conceded surrendered to them the overall war regardless of you wining or losing the battle... I prefer it the other way around... regardless of who wins or losses the game... everyone gets to play and have fun... or to be a bit more precise everyone gets to play and each chooses if they will have fun at it or if they will have some other emotion... Absorbing it and deflecting it most of the time does not help the other to get the message that they better play nice for its the only way they will win... Look up tit for tat strategy... its interesting to note that the strategy that could not win the contest won the contest... Being pushed a certain way does not mean moving a certain way ... one can stand still while being pushed or pulled...
