Usually a major increase in body temp, I sweat like I just ran a marathon. Hot spots and occasional very minor burning sensations. Of course this accompanies the "magnetic pressure" kind of feel in my body and a feeling of pressure around my head that feels like I'm wearing a massive hat that goes down to my eyes. My girlfriend has felt this feeling from me up to two or three feet from my body. She says it feels like the air is "thick and tingly". I have felt heat, cold and a sudden shock like a static discharge but mostly the pressure and warmth/heat.

Long story short, I have brain damage from impact almost two years ago. I have a history of concussions as well. Unfortunately, my recovery is slow. Its freaking miserable and has devastated just about all of my life. Western medicine has been unable to aid me significantly. I have had some success in pain control with meditation but I cant meditate 24/7. Does anyone know of any techniquest to aid in healing neck and brain injuries? Or at least find some way to find peace with this? Any help is appreciated.

Hmmmm. This is a lot of info. Thank you all, I really appreciate it!

The conquer the world thing was mostly a joke. Though one CAN argue that charisma can be developed and augmented and political success could be implemented. If I remember correctly Alexander the Great was advised by Socrates or Plato in some mystic tradition and he was pretty darn successful in conquering things. I'm not advocating dominating others mind you, just expressing a possible example. That said I think developing the ability to aid others, no matter what the path, is one of the noblest goals in life.

I'll be hitting the supplement store tomorrow. Thank you!

Can you expand on that a bit? I'm awful curious about that particular method of energy projection.

The ability to help/others? Lead a richer life? Conquer the world? I suppose it's all in what you want to do with it.

Much appreciated! Thank you!

So, I have trouble focusing sometimes, ALOT of trouble at times. Doctor said my neurons are probably still wonky(paraphrased, I'm fairly sure "wonky" is not a medical term) but I was trying to meditate the other day and getting really distracted by random thoughts and this thought came to me after I expressed how annoying random thoughts could be. Thoughts are like ferrofluid (a really good visual interpretation anyways.) http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=me5Zzm2TXh4. Ferrofluids are an iron rich goo that react to magnetic fields by assuming shape. Neat to watch. So, in this line of thought, thoughts themselves are a shapeless part of the greater "essence" of things until acted upon by an outside force, such as perception or distraced focus or desire etc.... I'm not sure if this makes sense, but when I considered this and attempted to remove the "outside force" or I guess the energy behind the distracting thought, I briefly achieved a few moments of thoughtless bliss. Lost track of time, bodily sensation and outside perceptions, it almost felt like i dissolved into whatever this nifty, infinite(?) sensation was. It was very cool, very amazing and when I thought "WHOA!" it was very gone. Any thoughts on this? (pun!)

I know I'm not the only person here to have ever taught martial arts and this is just my opinion but what I always told my students was this; " some people have let their lives and minds degrade to the point where they cannot advance in life until they have learned how weak they really are and just how very wrong their ego is. For a select violent few this may require a judicious foot in the ass. Your task, as a skilled individual, is to apply said foot in the way that is best for yourself, that person, and the world in general. You are responsible for yourself and the people around you, including an attacker(s). Know why to fight, when to fight, when to stop the fight and when to walk away." My two cents. Hope it helps.

Where Zen ends, Ass kicking begins. But in seriousness, Dont feel guilty, it seems like you were the bearer of a lesson he needed to learn.

Not meaning to sound insulting here but when you say: It sounds more like youve simply found a new and shiny rationalilzation for your addiction. One that comes in a great wrapper since it smacks of spirituality and "higher developement" and how could THAT be a bad thing? But in reality its kind of like saying "I used to be a heroin addict but im not now since I only shoot up in Church." Im not judging, but since youve admitted addiction you should strongly consider that use of your addictive sunstance is in no way good for you.

Not sure what to say here.....Hello seems best. Im 35 next month.
