I am glad that Pangu Mystical Qigong helped you. I know that it quickly healed a pretty serious virus for me. I usually do not get sick so I have not had to use Pangu since then. Whenever you have an illness remember to do as Pangu in one day as you possibly can, hours of it. That is what I was taught by the master's daughter who manages their headquarters.

I have thought for a long time that my role in life seems to be the way shower rather than the finder of the Way. Just my karma, I guess. I would prefer to do some lengthy tracking of results before I endorse that spiritual device. I want to see what it does over at least 6 months to a year. I was told by the seller that I would see results in 2 months or money refunded. I have done business over the years with that fellow and he is very ethical and is involved with high quality energy products that I own after having the claims for what they can do tested by Eric. So if it turns out that this method can be consistently counted upon to produce results, then later on I will sing its praises. At this point I am pleased but it is too early to know if the results so far were coincidental or if this item is working as advertised. I never want to steer anyone down a blind alley. But I also want to encourage others that we live in an era where there are powerful energies that are now being rediscovered for us to make use of. Higher consciousness is on the rise.

I cannot help but seeing the irony in the title of that book and the name of the author!

I read some master saying that you need an understanding of TCM for chi kung to be effective. Since I will not be enrolling in acupuncture school in this lifetime, I instead ordered "The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Medicine", translation and commentary by Maoshing Ni of the famous family of healers in Los Angeles. His father has written at least one hundred books I think and I have some of them. I just started reading The Yellow Emperor book and it is written in a way that is understandable to the Western mind. Pretty fascinating, especially since right from the beginning it is stating things similar to the teachings of Oneness and also the Tao Te Ching. No surprise there. Reading it so far makes me have an even deeper appreciation of the energy art of chi kung and I feel very fortunate that it is part of my life.

Maharishi used to say that when someone is in God Consciousness, everything appears to have a gold aura to it. Eric said that he wishes that he could also heal the things that he sees wrong in the body but it would take a certain level of higher consciousness to be able to do that. He does not believe that it can be learned, it has to result from going to even a higher level of consciousness.

The following are test results of my latest find, Pan Nam's Five Petal Plum Chi Kung also called "Kidney Breathing Returns Chi to Source." The dvd arrived today and within an hour or so Eric tested it. I used a new spiritual device that I obtained in order to manifest desires and I asked for the right chi kung method for me so that I can stick with it and stop searching for the right method. From Eric: Wow. Most powerful system I have ever tested. Really gets the Kundalini activated. Works on liver, spleen and pretty much all over the body. Great for health and spiritual development. Qi goes up the spine. Cleansing and purifying. In later stages of practice will do much more. Eric Hi Eric, Would you please test this very unique style of Chi Kung dvd called, Kidney Breathing Returns Chi to Source with Grand Master Eddie Chong. It was taught by famous Wing Chun kung fu Master Pan Nam in Fushan, China. Eddie Chong was one of only 10 students who Pan Nam taught this chi kung to because in the wrong hands it could be used for something other than health purposes. Steve

Eric's gift came decades before he ever got into Oneness. It came to him while on an experimental 6 month meditation course by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi of TM where he taught the correct way to do Patanjali's Yoga Sutras which when done correctly always result in a state of higher consciousness like described in the Vedas or by advanced yogis or real chi kung masters.

Real experiences by Blue Phoenix that other people on the path have also shared. My best friend's sister went to a Oneness Blessing weekend deepening event a few years ago. She was not experienced with the Oneness deeksha/energy. However, during the course she was looking up in the clouds and saw Kwan Yin. Later Kwan Yin appeared to her and taught her a simple chi kung method of holding an energy ball which she has since been able to use to heal other people. I think White Tara and Green Tara in the Tibetan tradition serve a similar role as that of Kwan Yin, but I do not think they are the same deity/energy. It sounds like people are starting to have some pretty mystical experiences from Flying Phoenix Chi Kung lately.

just put Matt Kahn in search engine and it will go to YouTube and/or his website. The only downside to Matt is that he really draws out his points which makes his videos over an hour long so I watch in segments. At first he seems like he is going nowhere and then he starts tying bits together and one thing leads to the next and deeper and deeper. When you watch him at first he will seem strange because he pauses at times. That is because he is channeling his information as he speaks, he calls it downloads. He is also in tune with the group he is teaching and is doing energy transmissions. He had some pretty mystical experiences even as a kid. Everything good seems to take place on the West coast of the USA.

Kudos for learning from a master who has such complicated movements! I just want to report on a potent healer in Canada named Matt Kahn. His lectures can be found on YouTube and his spontaneous energy transmissions work even from watching those videos. I had watched some of his stuff before and as impressed that he is speaking at the level of an avatar without proclaiming anything like that for himself. Just an ordinary looking guy with a great sense of humor but enlightening wisdom as he constantly receives downloads which is what he shares. Anyway, my best friend just came back from a workshop with him and he could feel the energy and when he had a chance during break to ask Matt a question he walked up to Matt and Matt answered the question even before my friend asked it! And knowing my friend as I do, the answer really fit his issues. I think Matt is not located in Canada, it is somewhere in the USA, I think the West coast. Some of you might find it interesting to watch one of his online videos.

Has anyone worked with any of the Eddie Chong Wing Chun or his qigong dvd?

What would be really cool is if the TCM formula can improve my liver situation in one month compared to less than spectacular results from 19 years of ayurvedic herbs. Nothing physically wrong with the liver, just vata body constitution energy imbalance from birth.

Update after having experienced Liu Dong's customized Chinese Herbal formulas that he prescribed for my wife and myself. These 2 formulas resulted in nothing noticeable. So great disappointment and they were expensive coming from a special pharmacy in California that does Chinese herbs. Another blind alley.

If there is a connection between your emotions and doing FP I would then consider it to be the normal process of a strong energy rooting out old stress in the nervous system. The idea is not to examine what is coming up, just let it go. If your were sweeping a floor and the dust particles became visible, you would not examine the dust, you would just continue sweeping. The other suggestion is that if the FP energy is purifying your nervous system a bit too strongly and thus it is emotionally uncomfortable, you might want to cut back the time to just one half hour a day until the emotions are stable again.

I think Awakening means different things to do different schools on the path. I am impressed with the teaching that experiences Awakening as caused by a rewiring of the brain from a unique energy which results in directly experiencing any situation in life in the here and now without it being filtered by our past experiences. The ego is pushed aside and we perceive life thru consciousness instead of past associations that our unconscious makes. You know you are Awakened when your emotional charges last a minute or so instead of years! Like water rolling off a duck's back is how I think about it. You cannot think your way into Awakening, your mind cannot move your ego/past experiences aside. It takes a change in brain functioning. Has nothing to do with astral realms. I do not know if Flying Phoenix claims to be able to produce this state of Awakening or not. There are different degrees of Awakening. It is a process of progression/evolution of Consciousness like everything else in life itself. It keeps growing.

Great testimony Earl Grey. Some may not know from first hand experience what bliss is. Just to clarify, it is not the same as the feeling of happiness which is limited and usually triggered by something external to us. The bliss that I felt from Patanjali's sutras when the kundalini literally exploded in my brain/higher chakras seemed to have no limit to the feeling. It was so much more of an intense pleasure and total fulfillment than any happiness. In addition it also contained unlimited love that felt so beyond love felt from another person that there actually was no comparison. And to think, this is what our human nervous system was built to produce spontaneously when there is no stress left in the nervous system. And I envy you that you feel even one second of bliss during your meditations. And all you guys who are having bodily movements from Flying Phoenix show the rest of us how powerful this particular form of qigong is.

Master Duan's Emei Wuji Qigong on the Garopolli dvd proved to be to challenging for me to put in the time to learn it so I have moved on to greener pastures by discovering Jessica Kolbe on Vimeo and from there going to see what she offers at her website. I found a beautiful form that is done with 3 repetitions which takes a total of about 2 minutes to do, called Longevity Gong. Ed Rockett of Santa Barbara teaches it on one of Jessica's dvds. I have also ordered her Spring dvd which includes a Wudang Qigong form taught by a Master at a temple on Wudang mountain. I saw him perform the short version on YouTube and it is a style that I would like to start doing in the long version.

I don't know if this applies to FP experiences or not, but I will just put it out there. Spontaneous bodily movements in practices from the Vedas, meaning authentic deep meditation and hatha yoga, are caused by kundalini rising and this energy releases blockages of stress. The movements, or release of old stress is considered, "purification of the nervous system." I have heard meditators performing the correct way of doing Patanjali's yoga sutras move in wild bodily contortions, speak in ancient, unknown languages, make animal noises, etc. All of this was considered the release of stress, which is a good thing, it indicates purification of the nervous system and that is what leads to higher states of consciousness which is what the human nervous system was created to do, those are our normal states of mind. That is why we are on the path, to find our right mind. In the Vedic system, erroneously at times called Hindu, there are 72,000 meridians. The diagram above shows some of the main ones. TCM usually only talks about 12 channels. The Vedas show 72 main channels. When the kundalini reaches the brain, or the chakras located in the head, you will then understand much of the ancient texts and you will have experienced a glimpse of the goal. It is pure Bliss and the meaning of Sat Chit Ananda becomes a direct experience and that is the everyday state of a purified, normally functioning nervous system. So think about how many people there are in the world and then wonder how many actually have a purified nervous system and then when we watch the world news we will understand why things are as they are. A world with almost no one in their right mind. I say this in order to motivate us all to keep doing what we are doing on our individual paths of energy cultivation and to follow Sifu Terry's advice to get to that state of inner silence. That is where the treasure will be found.

I will second that the master is someone who has started before us and just kept going. I remember the avatar of southern India explaining that we have all done so much work in our past lives and now it is his job to do the rest of the work for us in order to reach the goal of Awakening. And the founder of Transcendental Meditation taught us that once someone is initiated in TM they will always be on the path. In other words, they can stop meditating at some point in this lifetime but they will pick it up again in future lifetime. So to me it seems that one way to measure progress is to think in a longer span of time. A few years ago I was having a session with a very gifted sensitive whom I had worked with for over 20 years and her accuracy for me was well documented during that entire period. I complained to her that I really don't experience as much progress from chi kung as I would expect considering how many years I have been doing it and only feeling chi flow in my hands but never anywhere else. She replied to me that all this energy work is preparing me for the next level. I was reminded of this dilemma about people who are making faster progress while watching my alma mater, Oklahoma State University play a recent basketball game on tv. They have the best 3 point shooter in college on the team. The announcer revealed that he has become the most efficient 3 point scorer because each day he shoots enough shots from the 3 point range until he can make 600 baskets from 3 point range! That means he shoots way more than 600 shots each day to make the 600. So he is a master of the 3 point basket because he made progress by putting in all that work. Point made, pun intended.

My experience with time management and wanting to practice different qigong methods and other energy systems and meeting the needs of family life while also wanting to do some Flying Phoenix meditation has made me realize like anything else in life, it is a matter of personal priorities. When your goal is strong enough to want to become a teacher of Flying Phoenix then that will be your priority and you will arrange your life so that you have time for it. Until then, Sifu Terry has said many times that FP is a cumulative energy and thus it takes regular practice for this energy to build. Our life is based on choices, and I think our choices are based on what we value. And I have found that over time our values may change.

Mushin and Satori with Tristan Truscott

Update, there will be no third Satori Flow Qigong. Instead, I was recently told that they will be offering some kind of training to become teachers of Satori Flow Qigong 2 methods. -
WARNING!!! What I am going to relate about the above mention of marijuana comes from both one of the highest spiritual masters/meditation teachers in the history of this planet, and also unfortunately from my own direct personal experience from over 40 years ago when I experimented with marijuana. When in instructed in Transcendental Meditation people are warned to never do meditation while smoking pot. The reasons were not given but I found out what can happen. Apparently, marijuana opens the protective aspect of the energy body and allows the possibility for what I will just term negative energy to invade the energy body and this can influence your thinking, feeling and behaviors for quite awhile. This especially can happen when you smoke pot and then decide to do your meditation program. I eventually found a person skilled in removing the negative influence. The positive changes resulting from the procedure were very evident immediately. I am not implying that Shiva 33 meditated when he smoked pot. The mention of marijuana just stirred me to post this as a warning.

Not familiar with Qing Cheng, it would be nice to be able to buy a dvd of that qigong form. I wish more masters would break it down and stop the video at times to show a position like he does.

After 3 days of Emei Wuji Gong I have not felt anything from it other than some typical qi flow in the hands. The spontaneous movement form does not work unless you are able to be in the wuji state. I probably will give this method one method and if there is still no spontaneous movement I will then move on to working with the Emei Qigong from Francisco Garapolli's 103 year old master.

Anyone here have experience with Master Fu's Emei Wuji Qigong form? His manual for the method contains the most detailed explanation I have ever read for each movement of the form in terms of the benefits and why it is able to create that particular benefit.
