For sure. Hence the Chinese are notorious spitters in public. This latest virus doing the rounds ends up on the chest productively. If you are getting rid of the lung oysters then you are on the mend.

I wonder. If we couldn't read at all any text would be meaningless but we were taught to read and in learning we absorbed the reading patterns , grammar and structure of 'our' language along with all the cultural baggage that entails. Then we read texts translated from ideograms developed by a culture totally alien to those of us raised in the west. Plenty of people out there want to tell us what it 'really' means ( i.e. what they think it means) but don't you think that most western readers of TTC or CZ sorta make their own meanings based on their own life journey so far along with a selective reading of the various interpretations out there?

Agreed. It's like breathing, we do it.... Job done. No need to think about it as a rule. Qi's the same. Cultivating physically fair enough then be mindful of Qi but at other times Qi just goes where blood flows and as long as it's free to flow it flows. Regular Cultivation overcomes blockages. -

Anybody who grows or gardens is pretty much in touch with nature, even if it's only a window box.

It gets so that cultivation is mindless. Only time I think about it is when I'm not doing it. Sorta automatic when I do it just part of the old routine but my life is pretty same-ey every day anyway.

Remember full employment? More jobs than people to do them. Mill hands in Lancashire back in the 60s and 70s could pack in a job in the morning and start a new job after lunch. Wages had to be fair to attract staff, anybody paid a bit more they recruited well. Man those days have gone though!
