My granddaughters call me GrandpaP. Is it money you are after? Those two usually are. :-)
  5. Enlightenment - the Short Way

........ Suddenly, there seems to be a shift and an impersonal realisation that this is already wholeness. The boundless, naked, innocent, free-floating and wonderful simplicity of beingness is already all there is . . . it is extraordinary in its ordinariness and yet it cannot be described.

Beech Mast is both tasty and nutritious. Chestnuts roasting on an open fire are a seasonal treat here right now. Cob nut etc.... Trees are generous . Sinan cultivates or cultivated with trees as do I. They are powerful chaps towards aiding ones cultivation are trees. Scotch Pine for preference, you'll not beat an evergreen for wild Qi.

Well the horse is just doing a job really. That said , I'm sure it gets mighty lonely out there on the prairie. Scotsmen only took to wearing kilts because sheep became wary at the sound made by them unzipping.

Very rule bound those anachists. Just cos it means 'no law' doesn't imply there are no rules. They do love a rule book do anarchists. Used to be a super anarchist mag here called Black Flag, it ran for years, published out of the East End of London. They were always falling out amongst themselves and splitting into factions bit like the Judean Popular Front etc in Monty Python's of Brian. Got so that almost every issue was a manifesto cum rule book for whichever faction had held onto the editorship after the latest putsch. Black Flag folded a few years back and is sadly missed.
  10. Hello, I'm starting my journey and need assistance.

Plenty to choose from in Thailand. Good luck to you buddy.

Plenty of religious dictators out there too, historically far more of those than the political sorts. DL is a religious dictator, so is Mr Pope, VMarco on here might well be, could he get the following. Osho had a half hearted go just to oblige those who seemed to need a dictator; but he kept giggling cos he never took anything too seriously. Fascist is a facile epithet, bit like 'political correctness'. Used inaccurately the term signifies nothing beyond serving to define the user thereof. There have been very few fascist dictators to whit, Franco, Mussolini and Hitler and those very much of a time and situation.

    Don't forget the trees mate.
  13. How hard are you? :)

Focuses the mind wonderfully does being shot at by folk who would rather you were dead than alive. Happened to my Grandad in WW1 , happened to my Dad in Kenya, happened to me in Ireland, happened to both my lads out in Iraq Doesn't make you hard, just very very vigilant and incredibly loose bowelled. Marx was it who said that a bayonet is a weapon with a working class lad at either end of it?
  14. Enlightenment - the Short Way

Well we've been here before for sure with subjective morality eh Aaron? It's like reading an improving sermon, and as much utility; is reading your posts VMarco and no mistake. Were you not happier back when you were an active Xtian buddy?

You would not say that had you seen the carrot party we've just enjoyed down at the stables. If there's anything a horse loves more than carrots I have yet to find it. Very easy to buy Xmas presents for is a horse. Dear Santa... I have been a good horse. Please bring carrots. Thank you. Deosa The Horse Ducks are all as happy as ever I have seen em, cos it's rained solid for a month. Pig (pet not food) likewise. Chickens less so but happy enough of a night as there have been no foxes about due to rain, they won't leave their cubs when it's raining heavy. Plenty of eggs again today. Six cats in three houses on my cat wrangling round and not one appears to have set foot (paw) out this past two days. Double time for tomorrow, lovely lovely overtime.
  18. Christmas Shopping Frenzy

There is NO recession chums. Last night At 7.45pm I struggled to find a parking space at the shopping mall. It was wall to wall people spending as if there was no tomorrow. First light this morning found me in Tesco for annual Xmas grocery shop. Ditto, one could barely move for shoppers. That's it now, apart from tending to the animals; we are cabined up for the duration.
  19. Christmas Shopping Frenzy

Yes. They were out of prawn so I got you crinkle cut cheese n onion.
  20. How hard are you? :)

...... We lived in Brixton during the riots. It was brilliant. The bargains you could get. Every pub became a clearing house for looty booty. Lower Broughton isn't exactly pretty is it but Moss Side's worse.
  21. WORLD PEACE 666 HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

Look em up buddy. Real guys, unreal crop circles. Also the first Mrs. GMP. Man she was so fat that whenever she got up from sitting on the grass there was a huge crop circle left behind.
  22. WORLD PEACE 666 HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

....... I can recommend Aldi Mince Pies. Lovely grub.
  23. WORLD PEACE 666 HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

Doug Bower and his mate Dave Chorley do most of the crop circles that get into the papers over here. Doug's a dowser but they use a plank and ropes for the circles.
  24. WORLD PEACE 666 HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

That Joanna Lumley was just on TV looking for Noah's Ark. 90 minute docu. She didn't find it.
