Suspension? Not justified! Have you taken leave of your senses in my absence young Master Aaron? I richly deserved to be horsewhipped through the town. Tao knows what depths one could have sank to had not the mods stepped in as they did. I shall ever be in their debt. PS Thank you :-)

I have chaff coming out of my ears Apech old friend. I am a veritable mine of chaff. Thank you so much for sending the rabbit. Many a chill and hungry night these past days we have been glad to chew on the carrots it has brought in.

Well it was jolly cold out there in the Bardo chums and no mistake. I missed you all terribly. Huzzah for the mods for getting me back here indoors amongst the sane people. Profoundest apologies to all and sundry offended by posts prior and leading to my most justifiable suspension. Had I been the judge I would have had me taken out and shot. Soon be Xtianmas. Here at the farm Mrs GMP has chosen the ever popular, if somewhat traditional; Ninjas versus Kittens theme for the revels. All visitors over the holiday season to be sutably apparrelled... Hence... Ninjas v Kittens merchandise here at prices to suit every purse and pocketbook... http://www.genkigear.co.uk/sess/utn1550c0d4e4b6d86/shopdata/index.shopscript

How religions use guilt as an excuse to justify controlling others
GrandmasterP replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
Maybe not so much world wars, more like local skirmishes these days but religion does tend to divide people then again so does affiliation to a particular team in say soccer. Rather more people are killed and injured in religion engendered skirmishes though. It's a felt need is religion, were it not so there wouldn't be so much of it about. I can't think of anywhere except perhaps North Korea where there isn't a wide choice of religions on offer and even in NK they seem to worship their leader after a fashion. -
That's satisfying work for them as does it. Our healers are always kept busy.

Winter pansies in all our pots outside here now, cheery little flowers. Keeper pelargoniums all under glass in the warm and blooming fit to beat the band, all I can do to keep up with the little blighters, we take the flowers off ASAP.

...... Thank you. I thought that face was familiar.

Not noticed any illumined politicians here or in the USA but that Mrs. Palin sure is a piece of work eh?

How to unblock stuck energy channels in the chest and throat area?
GrandmasterP replied to Audiohealing's topic in General Discussion
Always worth getting any chest pains or persistent discomfort in that area checked out by your doctor just to be on the safe side. As a complementary to whatever s/he advises but never an alternative then a healer won't hurt, unless it's acupuncture and that maybe the way forward but only after qualified medical check up first. Any cultivation teacher would and should give you the same advice where chest discomfort is reported. -

The TTC has no philosophical basis especially in Chapter 16
GrandmasterP replied to deci belle's topic in General Discussion
Philosophy implies a ''Love of Wisdom' but where it's done professionally, it's a job. Nothing springs fully formed from the void in the academy so all jobbing philosophers identify with schools and schools of philosophy are just posher version of street gangs but without the physical fighting. Instead of crack dens we have our in-house journals where we can get together and grouse about those 'wrong' philosophers over in those other journals. Bit sad really, but it's indoor work with no heavy lifting involved and the holiday entitlement is second to none. TTC, and your article above on the other hand deci-belle; now those really are are wise. -
.................. Astral projection and remote viewing happen more often than folk know I reckon. More people having done one or t'other and brushed it off as a dream or a wobble. Neither practice is recommended nor taught in development circles in the biggest spiritualist organisation here in the UK. What is taught is how to 'deal with' if and when those happen. One of our working mediums Fiona Roberts has a book out on Kindle called Ghost of a Smile, well worth a look for anyone seriously interested in these areas.

What are the best Qi Gong or Tai Chi exercise/training DVDs?
GrandmasterP replied to DreamBliss's topic in Group Studies
.................... Not knowing what's on most of the DVDs listed here I can't advise one way or the other but the proprietary ones that I have seen over the years are a mixed bag. Some very good, some not so good . I do bang the drum for the Chinese Health QiGong Association resources because.. A.. It is all good. B.. It is free. C.. It comes from the source with literally millions of people cultivating it each and every day. Stick to one form diligently and once you have progressed beyond a certain point then a teacher will appear to help you further along the way. Some people are drawn to proprietary method teachers sessions , travel a long way or even move house to get to those and pay such a lot of money when just possibly right down the road from where they are now there is some humble teacher running a little class very quietly with little fuss or much publicity who could help them progress far further than any of the big name and very expensive teachers might do. The guy who taught me was a shopkeeper by day. We never knew much about his background and nothing about his lineage ( we didn't even know what a lineage was) until things eased off in China and he was able to go back there now and again. Then we knew. There are great teachers all over the place, some of the very best don't need to advertise, they just do what they do. Keep at it buddy and , when it's the right time; you'll either find a teacher or one will find you. -
Humour, marketing, effective communication/teaching
GrandmasterP replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
Graduation day tomorrow. Hope it stops raining. The one day a year we get to dress up like Batman but with much sillier hats and process through the town to the ceremony hall for the general amusement of the populace. It's a proud day for the graduands and their families. Why tell? Cos I suppose as things go, m'colleagues and I are the 'sages' as far as the audience is concerned. But teaching, proper teaching isn't about being a font of all knowledge 'sage'. The best teachers are not the sage on the stage' they are more like a 'guide on the side'. The learning that really sticks is the learning the student does . The teacher helps them to learn in better ways. 67 of mine going through tomorrow and, as always; I am proud for every single one of them. -
Enjoying your contributions as one does I do hope that you will remain and continue to post Apech.

I can see that. Saw a bumper sticker in the USA once... If they outlaw guns only outlaws will own guns. At least when it's out in the open we can keep an eye on religion apart from what some of them get up to behind closed doors. -
Those guys who knew what they were about counselled cultivators to have an artistic outlet such as calligraphy alongside cultivation.
