Caveman and Mrs. Jones from the next cave are round at Bob and Mrs. Bob's for dinner, admire the bird painting and commission Bob to paint one on their cave wall. Pretty soon Caveman Bob has given up his day job at the quarry in favour of full time bird painting and cave interior design. 'Bob's Magic Birds' does so well that after a while Bob comes to be known as 'Magic Bird Bob'. In order to grow the business Bob realises that he needs to diversify and add value so comes up with little rituals and takes to wearing a bird feather cloak whilst he does those, then he paints your magic bird. Bob advertises under the new slogan... 'Magic Bob's birds for that look of luxury, plus they bring good luck to your cave and family'. Bob prospers and wants to spend more time with the guys playing golf so he takes on staff and trains them in bird painting and ritual. Pretty soon the company is running itself and has branches all over the known world. The further away from head office the more culturally varied the artwork and rituals became in order to suit the tastes and artistic preferences of various tribes. Echoes of Bob's firm are still with us today.

Topography shapes attitude sometimes. Villagers up in the hills look down with suspicion and disdain on the 'lowlanders' whilst the 'highlanders' are dismissed as thieving untrustworthy cattle rustlers by the lowlanders. Well in Scotland anyway.

QiGong has few to no contraindications, if harm is done it is far likely to come from whatever else is being cultivated at the same time. I've reservations about the advisability of mixing and matching forms at the best of times. Maybe best to stick to one form and cultivate that exclusively if only so as to become the very best you can be at that form via focus and diligent cultivation. There is so much 'to' QiGong with something to suit everyone from absolute beginners who are maybe just interested in light exercise with the added benefits of weight loss if that is required right through to the alchemical , the arcane and beyond.

Leaving the body does not constitute 'dying' anywhere outside of popular misconception. "There is no death, there are no dead". No point arguing that fact, everyone'll find out soon enough and far too soon for most. Final fact before bed... Never have the last words of someone about to leave their body been recorded as... "I wish I had spent more time at work".

This thread runs to 13 pages so far so there is some interest. On the other hand there are specialist forums already out there for magic and such. Spiritualist forums too but they tend to be folk wanting free readings and people daft enough to offer those.

In the sense that it exists , possibly. Gets you nowhere though.

It has to be more who you know rather than what you know I guess. Only way in has to be via somebody already on the inside. Not much point having a secret society if anyone can just pitch up to meetings and join in. Bit like 'closed door' MA teachers, only a select few get past the door.

Yep it's the main set that TCUGB teachers teach here in the UK. I'm only four weeks in, early days yet. Nice to be a student now and again.

..................... It's not necessary to fake but faking happens so it's maybe better to show how that's done. Works for me anyway. Anyone can come to a workshop, fewer go away saying it was faked if you demonstrate how it could be faked prior to them having a go at tilting themselves. Spiritualism's always been an odd combination of phenomena plus a touch of vaudeville, cheapest live show in town is a spiritualist meeting and more come 'to the spooks' for entertainment than enlightenment and nothing wrong in that.

Clarification. Spirits use what we call ectoplasmic rods to tilt tables. The ectoplasm is drawn from the mediums present or suitable sitters. Same thing happens in genuine physical seances. There are photos online and one or two YouTube clips around too. It's genuine phenomena when it is genuine, just that, as it is easily faked; it gets faked.
