Internal energy accumulated thru neigong lost during sleep
healingtouch replied to healingtouch's topic in Daoist Discussion
Yes, in this context, with being surrounded by the right "tools", every breath would subconciously become a form of neigong. It's how some people do become masters without any concious effort on their part other than meditation or prayer. They are placed by their spirit guides in the right environment at the right place and at the right time. As they say, everything does become a million times easier when one has Heaven on their side. -
Internal energy accumulated thru neigong lost during sleep
healingtouch replied to healingtouch's topic in Daoist Discussion
By yin qi I understand qi that is aquired and stored inside the dantien in a passive way, without an act of willful effort or meditation or qi circulation on the part of the cultivator. This perhaps can come from wearing certain crystals or listening to certain music, sleeping in certain positions, having certain plants/animals around, while sleeping, etc. Actually, this reminds me of a story that I've been told by a girl from HK, a Buddhist cultivator for 15 years with some very impressive abilities, that wealthy women in Korea do actually have beds made entirely of jade exactly for this purpose of cultivating internal energy. So I guess even the icy jade bed in this story is not that fictional. -
The most powerful Qigong exercise you've experienced

Strong vibratory sensations means that energy channels are getting unblocked and cleared and are a sign that the body is carring a lot of water energy. One that has purified enough will feel no sensations when circulating their own qi or even divine energy. Hands heating up is another story, and they are a sign of strong healing energy being transmitted. -
I highly recommend getting a Reiki attunement or even better, a Kundalini Reiki attunement if one is planning to awaken their Kundalini. I myself had a spontaenous Kundalini awakening and it brought out to the fore, in full force, many of my darkest aspects which I manged to bring out under control only after getting the Reiki attunement. In fact, I feel this is so important that I will share two videos that are very relevant and will greatly help anyone looking to awaken the serpent One that explains what happens when chakras become activated (as a result of the Kundalini energy for example) And one where I offer a free Kundalini Reiki level 1 attunement Warmest regards, Titus

I recently came up this article, seemingly written by William Bodri, which has been quite illuminating I have to say and very much in line wiht some of my personal experiences. For example, in my case, I have found that , sex done properly, as described in the book, for hours at an end, going thru lots of positions, making sure she gets a gspot orgasms and that the tip of my "sword" goes deep and penetrates that soft spot at the back of her vaginal canal hitting the cervix, resulted in a huge increase of chi and energy even without practicing non-ejaculation. And I also found this practice works amazing at releasing a woman's blockages to the point they get teargasms. Does anyone have anymore books or sources of information that deal with the sexual cultivation of chi as covered in it and that could add more light to this particular subject? http://www.meditationexpert.com/meditation-techniques/m_sexual_tantra.html

You have a great understanding of love and its flavors ... And yet, I'm sure that you can agree as well that even the expectation of non-dual love is an ideal that can lead to hypocrisy. It's purely human nature and inescapable even in buddhist societies, as to have butterflies, one must always start with caterpillars, and many caterpillars, rather than do the work to get those wings, will feel an inferiority complex and hence, will feel like they have to pretend they are what they are not. Hope that made sense ...
-
This in reply to Vmarco And yet, even this statement is full of contradictions, as it pushes onto us love as the ideal. Keep in mind that love is an emotion, an emotion that can wax and wane, just like the moon which governs it.. Imagine if your life was governed only by the emotion of love, one day your rent would cost you $100 and the next $2000, depending how much love the landlord felt for you. Hence why religion, Taoism being one of them, came in, brought in ethics and taught people that conditioned yin, indulging in emotion and giving free rein to desires, is "denying humanity" (The Taoist Iching - Thomas Cleary) and that certain standards ie. ideals, of behavior are necessary. Now one might argue that love is not an emotion, and is a constant state of oneness, and if that Buddhist speaks of the love that saints attain for all created, again it is an ideal that only a few would be able to live up, meaning, ironically, a society based on hypocrisy where everyone would feel obliged to act like a saint.

You make a very compelling compelling case. But I have a question of my own In the book "Clear Light of Bliss" by Kelsang Gyatso, who discusses Guhyasamaja Tantra. The appearance of the signs depends on the strength of the fire generated. On page 70, it states the signs in ascending order: 1) mirage-like appearance "This is like the shimmering of an apparent lake that appears on hot, sunny days in the desert." 2) smoke-like appearance "This is like thin wisps of wafting blue smoke dirfint in the air in a slowly swirling haze." 3) fireflies vision "This vision is sometimes described in terms of an open crackling fire seen at night." 4) burning like a butter lamp appearance "This is like the steady, erect flame of a dying butter lamp or candle in a draughtless room." 5) the mind of white appearance "The meditator perceives the vision of whiteness." 6) mind of red increase This is "the vision of an empty sky pervaded by sunlight." 7) mind of black near-attainment This is "an overwhelming unconsciousness like that of a very deep faint." 8) clear light "this apperance is like that of an autumn sky at dawn: perfectly clear and empty." Have you at least experienced the first sign from your training so far?

Those that claim to be in the know seem to be very concerned about the health of the practitioners that might follow this set of leaked PDFs, and yet, despite this overwhelming compassion, none of them has posted the correct instructions, not even for level 1 ...

Well, I could think of a few ways being intimate with a female could help a guy out in his cultivation: keeping him grounded and active in social life as a source of yin energy and for consort practices in certain forms of tantra as a source of money so he can dedicate himself more to his practices Now, from my experience, a lot, I should say most guys are oblivious to those tells in women, especially guys that immerse themselves in the more martial aspects of cultivation (Venus vs Mars?). Ask a buddy (or maybe better yet a woman friend or ex that you are on friendly terms with now) that you trust to be honest for a fair assessment of yourself ...
-
The problem with that approach is the more you push against something, the more you try to back it into a corner, the more aggressive it will become and push back at you. And it could well be that the intimacy that you crave, and that you wish you didn't crave because you are such a busy guy, may be required in your cultivation practice. And I bet it's not so much work as you believe, as I'm sure there are a few people that you bump into on a daily basis that wish they were on more intimate terms with you.
-
Yes, cultivate how to acquire intimacy so it becomes a non-issue so your thoughts do not revolve around it anymore. Basically, it's the same as thirst. You get thirsty, you go have a drink. It's simple. One doesn't aspire for non-desire for water. And once you have acquired the same kind of mastery in obtaining intimacy whenever you feel the need for it, as the mastery you have right now for drinking water, you will be in a lot happier place than if you were to attain a state of non-desire for intimacy.
-
So you are replacing the desire for intimacy with the non-desire for intimacy ... and then you'll still experience suffering, of a different kind, as your expectations of what non-desire for intimacy is are quite different than what non-desire for intimacy truly is. then you'll want to experience again desire for intimacy ...

This reminds me of certain people in the US that tried to patent yoga asanas. Forgetting that those methods are free, come from nature and no one has the right to own them. And why do we learn them? To be able to fight for justice and more freedom, not to add more injustice by being possessive and territorial. If you got to a level where you can teach others, you don't need money from students, you can use your skills to easily make a living thru other ways while taking a few disciples under your wing so your way of mixing the ingredients stays alive. So I propose that if you don't have anything technical to add to this thread, to stay out of it so it doesn't get banned like the other one ... unless this is your goal of course, to prevent any sort of real discussion on actual techniques from taking place.

Maybe or ... it could be a form of something else too, in India it's called Vashikaran. I remember in one of of Johnson's books on Daoist magic he talks about it as well, a technique to inject qi into someone to make them "addicted" to you.

I've seen this pdf and the pics that come with it. The guy in it is not even in a half lotus position, hes actually sitting in a siddhasana position and his hands are holding the jnana mudra upon the knees. To see what I mean, look at the these links: http://www.thesecret...ting-poses.html http://www.gitaaonli...loads/mudra.jpg

Why red meat-eating Korea & US have karma of war..
healingtouch replied to SunLover's topic in General Discussion
Even if your basic premise might be incorrect, the conclusion you came to is absolutely selfish. If you are as spiritually advanced as you claim to be, you would want to have sex with as many Korean and American women as possible in order to push them up higher spiritually. This will happen because there is always an exchange of energy and karma thru sex. And every time you would have sex wiht someone that's on a lower level then you spiritually, your partner would progress spiritually and you would come down a bit but since you know the way of purifying yourself thru meditation, it's not a problem to clean yourself up and bring yourself up to the initial level spiritually again. -
your opinion: possible or not possible? Also, please list in this thread books/webcasts claiming to offer such a transmission. And now, I'll start myself Lama Surya Das - Natural Radiance (book) Reginald A. Ray - Mahamudra for the Modern World (webcast)

direct transmission thru a book/webcast
healingtouch replied to healingtouch's topic in Buddhist Discussion
For anyone wondering, I just happened on a paragraph in a book that describes to a T what direct transmission is supposed to feel like. The book is Meditation Techniques of the Buddhist and Taoist Masters by Daniel Odier. THE IMPORTANCE OF A MASTER The presence of a master is indispensable for all thorough study. He knows all the subtleties of the road that will be traversed by the disciple, and can not only guide him but can also prevent him from losing his way in numerous difficulties. In addition, through the transfer of a psychic force, the master can from the start give the disciple an extraordinary energy that permits him to experience a kind of necessary orbital propulsion. This sudden launching is so powerful that it equips him with a form of realization at the outset, which he will later have to repeat on his own. Here one gets a glimpse of the goal, which is not theoretical but has been experienced through a brief Illumination provoked by the master in the course of the initiation. All the schools recognize the importance of a master, but each looks at it from a different angle. The master alone can render to his disciple the accessible, clear, luminous way, by giving to him not a method but the method that agrees with his personality. At the beginning, as well as at the end, the master will always be there in order to provide light and open new and unending horizons -
And to those that want lab results, when you work with spirits, you enter a whole new ball game. For example, some spirits might just very well refuse to cooperate under scrutiny. Or a spirit that might be a healer for someone could refuse to work on someone else or even attack him, depending on that person's past. Only a healer well versed in the art of divination is able to figure out before hand what spirits he should work with and what their effect will be. Like Seth said, it's more of an art rather than a science. And it's very time consuming. For example, for the 15 minutes - 30 minutes it takes me to send distance reiki to someone, it takes me 30 minutes to get into trance. And add to this another hour or so to divine the spirits that would be most beneficial. Now how many Reiki practitioners even bother to go into trance?
-
Reiki is a shamanic healing method not much different that Qigong healing, except spirits are used to aid the healer with his healing. And just like most people can't be shamans, it's the same with Reiki healers, even after a thousand attunements. Most Reiki practitioners are just too impure and not knowledgeable enough to be able to work with energy or with spirits so they are just going thru the motions. However, in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing, and who leads a life that keeps him in top shape as a healer (diet, exercise, spiritual cultivation), it's a very powerful healing method capable of visible physical healing, and what makes it so powerful is a real Reiki healer can be just as effective from a distance, there is no need to be close to the patient.
