This morning I was listening to the astral sounds in my base chakra beating like a drum (at least I think it was my base chakra - it might have been a tiny umpar band in there? )
-
Good call - hey... maybe you can slap yourself and I'll see if I can feel it? (ps.don't really do it )

Didn't wish for it...eh? Yes you did, you just don't remember the song we sang together as you took on the suggestion that you needed to as you incarnated here again... We all choose. Every choice is a wish in action.

Thanks Son of the Gods - yes, I am a Master - but that does not mean that I am skilled in the mechanics of MP and dantien cultivation in this life. My previous incarnations stand me well to make rapid progress - but I'm not filled to the brim with chi because my dantiens are overflowing. I still need to do the work to achieve that - hence the interest in the MP system & dantien cultivation in general. I guess I'd equate it to a hydraulic system - all of the ability is there - and when I add massive amounts of chi to upper dantien - the faculties are there. But without the bottom up "fill" (semantics kindly ignored) - it is unstable, maybe unhealthy, and the experiences and ability to repeat them are fleeting. A master just comes with all of the software from last time/s - but I need to increase the operational memory RAM - to get things really cooking. So, yes I'm aware that I am a Master - but I still need to do the work - it just happens exponentially faster. Hence the tendency to be very specific - because I have to (mistakes manifest as fast as good progress for me... Thanks for commenting anyway

Where to focus concentration exactly? I'm a very specific bunny. I can take myself into a deep trance state within about 3 seconds, so I find the dantien focus quite easy - the concentration and deep trance state aspect that is...(and I sit in full lotus quite comfortably). I keep having the question arise - should i focus on the area 1.3-3 inches below the navel and 1.3-3 inches inside? or should I focus on the actual dantien that I have percieved with internal vision (see below). I've actually seen the dantien when I've popped my core-self into my abdomen - and was in front of the lower dantien. I saw it as a perfectly circular glowing yellow/gold disk. I was enjoying this thread and thought I'd put it out there to ask the question of whether to focus on that disk or just the measured position of where it is. May sound silly to ask - but the question still arises. I've been working with both and seem to get better results just with the idea of where it is - but maybe I'm just not that convinced about directing the breath and concentration on the disk/actual dantien I percieved? or perhaps that intention splits the concentration more than the normal method? I do find that either way - dantien heats up as soon as I start. Does anyone else have that same inner vision? or have any comments to share? Thanks in advance, and thanks for the great thread.

Yes, I've experienced this. Though it takes a very deep level, and I've only been there once. More due to the fact that I practice so many different techniques. My focus is on the application and benefit - not the achievement. Actually not dangerous - you are not holding your breath - you are creating the right circumstance such that the body is in a "death like" suspended animation - St Paul is quoted saying he "dies daily". I think it Michael Winn once described it as "tricking" the body to believe you are so full of energy and void of cell decay due to almost complete lack of cellular activity - so the venous blood reduces to a stop - the lungs have no need to replenish and the heart can rest to a stop. I've only tried it about a hand full of times and it worked once - simply because i did it for about 3 hrs. I normally only have time for 1hr at a time. Being unattached to the bells and whistles makes it easier to achieve. The achievement of non-achievement. Yeshau (Jesus), worked via babaji, through to mahasaya to develop Kriya Yoga - which is essentially the process. You need to work with breath ratios ..count of 20 inhale, count of twenty hold, count of twenty exhale (6 times) - one more time and then squeeze whole bosy - exhale all air in two qhick "ha-ha's" (then repeat 6 times) then move into "hong" mantra - inbreath, "sau" (pronounced: "saw") out breath - no count - just allow the hong to fill the breath (abdomen filling up to lungs) - and "sau" exhale - empty lungs (and at the end of exhal/sau - allow the breathless state to take you...release the control and know that you don't control the breath - the system does. Calm all mind, calm all breath, calm it all. Watch the breath and grow the awareness of the boundary between your control "ok inhale now" - and the pressure that begs for it (never pushing it - you are not trying to hold the breath - you are releasing the control). You will feel the sift in awareness - it grows like an impulse and you just allow it to take over. Once doing that - once you hit the state of change - in time move on to "om" manta. I do it like "om, om. om" continiuously on the in a nd out. the key is that you are taking yourself to the baseline (cellular slow down/ suspended animation) - and then massive focus - complete relaxation. Then the Omming - (and Moo) helps too. With the omm you are phasing your mental/emotional/physical/spititual vibratory rate to the frequency of creation/light/god/source/om Keep it going - release it all - surrender - sometimes its like a multi level cry scream for me. You know you've arriving there and you mind starts to kick in - what now - let it go. Then there is this rush like a gushing water pipe and the light rushes in. For me it was like a gush in from the crown, down like a massive chi wave. I've also had this type of direct source digestion of light - via Ming Men focus. But that required supercharging the crystal room and moving the whole core self into tantien - and the yuan chi just came gushing through ming men - like god flushed the toilet. The yan chi dance/spiraled/battled with the dark energy and went careering through my channels - i was in tantien watching it spral around like a tune ride/enclose waterslide. The chi wave was exactly like the zen japanese tsunami paintings. the essence of it is about total let go, but you need to master the breath, which calms the heart, which calms the breath, which calms the heart - repeater. Of course to do that you need to master the mind and the emotions. (fire and water).

ok, I'd also take a look at mantak chias tantien qigong - and try taking some colloidal silver (works a treat for emf sensitivity).

Full-lotus only hurts when I get out of the position
Horus replied to nomad's topic in General Discussion
I have the same issue - so I just allow full lotus when it feels right - half lotus when it doesn't - and layin gflat on my back when it is called for. The leg/feet/joint pain from full lotus is quickly zapped by doing the kidney channel saced sound and position (from universal tao):standing feet facing forward, shoulder width apart - clasp palms behind both knees - look straight ahead and breath out with lips "o" like blowing a candle - exhale with sound "choooooo" - with "reverse breath" ie drawing the navel to the spine as you exhale. Visualise the water element blue colour and see all the heat and toxic energy going out of the kidneys (I see it draining out the channel also). Once breath expires, remove hands from behind knees, stand straight up and rest hands on kidneys - visualise yourself doing the same "choooo" sound again, colour visialise, drain toxic chi - ie subvocally and imagine you are doing the sound - to expire breath. Zaps the lotus induced leg pain almost straight away. It's better when you do the whole cycle of sacred sounds - see mantak chia sacred sounds (six healing sounds). -
Yeshua and St John would make this far more simple than this thread had, and far more simple than the text represents. Much of the biblical text was shaped at the Council of Nicaea (starting from 6ad) Thine eye be single and the whole body awash with light - refers to the event that occurs when through breath retention and third eye focus the heart and breathing stop - and breathing resumes straight from source. I've seen Yeshua countless times, its not a big deal. And he doesn't like the "Jesus" image of identity - he wants to be freed from that. It's Yeshua. We shouldn't bicker over such things. Love thy neighbour.

Howdy TS Keep going and it will open eventually...but that path comes with head fog, dizziness, nausea, and makes you open to astral attack. I'd recommend adding some more intense grounding. Walking or meditating on grass is one thing. To foundation/ground I do Iron Shirt Qigong (Especially Embracing the Tree, and Rooting Practices (embracing the tree while someone tries to push you over - developing the rooting energy)), strong physical exercise, and consider doing more of the foundation practices to cleanse, integrate and charge the whole system. The fog and other undesirables are because you are making yourself top heavy...(ie open and charge the lower centres and the channels first) so the charge can fill from the bottom up - not get caught and pocketed here or there. When I integrated the above - I no longer had the fog etc.

You will not find a direct 3rd eye training approach in Taoism. Infact people might get impatient with you - because there is inherent impatience in focusing on the 3rd eye alone. Taoists belive that we need to purify and cleanse our whole system, then charge it, and then subtle anatomy - like the "3rd eye" will be operational. If you just charge the third eye - your system is not prepared for it - you can have momentary visions - but the pressure in the head cooks the brain. When the whole system is cleansed, purified, grounded and centered - the pressure will fill from the bottom up - so to speak - and the 3rd eye will have the "juice" to operate with your intent. If you are keen on the 3rd eye, great, people may criticise that - but its just your desire to be reconnected with the greater you...but don't be hasty - be patient. I'd suggest - inner smiling, sacred sounds, iron shirt, embracing the tree, fusion of the five elements through to kan & li - to take the taoist route. Other systems dont see it that way - like kriya yoga - which opens the third eye - with that focus. The taoists are about immortality of the spirit - and thus the physical body is the foundation - and just doing 3rd eye training is ignoring the whole system that supports it. I know because i cooked my brain - and could see anything anywhere with the 3rd eye - but the day long migraine is counter productive. Hence rooting from the ground up first.

What do you see differently when your 3rd eye is open or opening?
Horus replied to baloneyx's topic in General Discussion
Hi baloneyx I belive that the opening of the third eye is often described differently by people, because the perception level depends on the amount of pressure/charge/chi that is in the system. I've had experiences seeing shimmering light, to colours and auras, right through to a higher charged state where I can extend the astral tube from the mid brow and then travel/extend the core-self into/out to anywhere I want. Using that vision i've inspected my tan tien from within (whole coreself/awareness is within - like there is no physical body/head center viewing - its just you. I could also extend my vision across the planet to inspect other peoples tan tien to compare the difference. I had a peek at a few prominent peoples tan tiens - that I know practice western alchemy - and noticed some very interesting differences. You can see chi careering through inner channels - yin and yang spinning agianst each other like white firewheel sparks,... It comes down to charge. It is better to charge and clear the whole body system that jus tthe upper center - otherwise the pressure has no release valve and you cook your brain (speaking from experience). Its like a hydraulic system - there is no lift if the pressure is not sufficient - but issues if the pressure is only in the head - you need whole body integrated charge and cleansed purity to really take you forward. For most people focus on jus tthe 3rd eye opening and charging will lead to head pressure like no tomoorw and possibly psychosis if the emotional balance has not been worked on. A sound body, charged and cleansed is a foundation prior to charging and opening the "3rd eye" - or their is no foundation to the building and you'll easily topple. -
Nothing ever dies, it only changes form. May peace be with you Jim

Which Elements/Phases does each Vices/Negative Emotion Correlate to?

Agree that going within is the best way to solve this yourself - which is what I'm doing. It is much easier with a framework to utilise, as I've discovered with the fusion of the 5 elements.- 22 replies

Which Elements/Phases does each Vices/Negative Emotion Correlate to?
Horus replied to Horus's topic in General Discussion
Thanks again, stosh I don't see anything as good or bad - it all depends on what your highest intention is, so "But I can see that you have broken the world down into categories of good and bad already" is not quite on the mark... I'm just wanting to broaden my palate of understanding on how variations of the "negative" emotions and mental states correlate with the organs. I'm finding such a wonderful process with the primary emotions/organs correlations (ie fusuin of the 5 elements) - and just want to expand on this. ie when I feel other "negative" emotions, understanding the correlations helps me transmute and balance the weather... Thanks soaring crane - elements and phases are both terms used in the fusion of the five elements. I realise that this is a taboo for some people - personally i'm not too into purely semantic discussions about using this or that word, but I hear you...hence the use of both in the thread title... Virtues and vices, positive emotions and negative emotions - semantics can slow us down too much if we are not careful - but increased clarity is (of course) always welcome. Virtues and vices is a common way of looking at it in moew western approaches - and maybe buddhist approaches.- 22 replies

Lesser Kan & Li:The body is Scorched and the Souls are Sold?
Horus replied to Horus's topic in Daoist Discussion
Thanks for your comments Regarding the eventuated immortal state...how does it alter ones ability to cross over into the light when it comes for you (after finally leaving the physical body/"death"). Obviously, we then have the ability to remain "conscious"/immortal - but how doe it change our option to cross over? Say my partner in life has not made the change to immortality, but I have...when she crosses over, can I (being immortal) still go into the light like any normal person. My feeling is yes, but can anyone expound on that?- 7 replies

Which Elements/Phases does each Vices/Negative Emotion Correlate to?
Horus replied to Horus's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for the reply Stosh... While they correlate to human mind - they also correlate to the elements and organs... ie anger is of the wood element and the liver I love the process of fusion of the 5 elements, inwhich the primary negative emotions/vices are worked with... I'm just putting it out there to see if anyone has done any further extended work with vices and their element correlations.- 22 replies
