  1. Stretching for mobility, flexibility, wellbeing

There is no basic tai chi training. One goes where he can/wants to go. If one wants to dig he will have to do more than basic. Specific treatment ? Depends on what you need. I had to work the right upper back then the right leg to relieve my knee. Now it's the lower back (it generally lacks of flexibility for men) and still the waist and the ankles. All is good to stretch but my needs are tightly tied to my history. A good teacher is a healer plus someone able to guide a student on paths so anything like that is deeply individual and personal that's why I keep saying anytime about these things don't study lonely by yourself if that's something of importance you're ready to put time and energy into.

I think to understand -if it is possible- this concept you have to make it resonate with the others daoist concepts then feel them through practice. It's something to experience not something to analyze. About timing, balance and feeling. Knowing yourself enough to make it sound like you Playing -only- your part according to others and the tempo of the moment. Sometimes leaving when others are out of time. Also “sometimes it takes you a long time to sound like yourself” and even more to stay in/with an unified self.
  4. Back For Good

Welcome back, even if I can't stand that song.
  5. the question that haunts me

We are just an expression of the whole. You have been many things other than human form and will be too, ultimately... consciousness.

  12. Where do you stand politically

Everyone is born sovereign... What a great invention ! I should have thought about it way before what a dummy
  13. Where do you stand politically

what a rhetoric... I have been confronting my ideas with right wing people (from time to time) for one year or more trying to understand how these people think these ideas. I don't know maybe something was missing in my reflexion or maybe they were smarter or more intelligent that I am. To some extent I understand it and I agree, but avoiding tyranny and guaranteeing individual liberty is not the privilege of capitalism. In a certain manner it's even the opposite with that idea of laissez faire, if you let a bully do... you'll have... yes ! an infernal circle. ... I started to explain my view further but that is an absolute loss of time since I learnt that we all start sovereign, there is obviously no more no need to balance anything, that so much weight off. Thank you very much indeed!, I love it
  14. Where do you stand politically

Nobody. If I put you in a cage then I say you are free, does it make you free ? When I was born I was totally dependant on my direct environment (mainly family) with no means to act, I was never less free than when I was born. All was up to develop. Do you have kids ? Did you try to let them alone in the forest ?
  15. Where do you stand politically

Nobody was born sovereign... I understand liberty as a gain of autonomy but certainly not something innate. Like plants it grows only under certain conditions. It's obvious to me that you can't just come with what should be and stay wishing, you have to make it happen and it's not about forcing things... but playing our role as a member of a social specie. I wish we could exchange our life's experiences -we should- but we can't. I'm very glad you pointed that clearly the central element of the divergence between right and left. The patsy will always be the one in the other side uh ? and by the way, I'm neither a recent immigrant nor communist... but migrant, who can say he or his family hasn't be ? whatever the reason...
  16. Where do you stand politically

Yes that's it. I now know what you are missing.
  17. Where do you stand politically

Me too. I think the questions are relevant on both global and current topics. I'm more dubious on weighting factors. Is that me or you are mostly shy to show ?
  18. Where do you stand politically
