Saying that you look like a very strange person to me :s

Yes I did both Actually this comes when I concentrate on my LDT when exhaling, no matter I do chi qong or tai chi. It may come easier with an empty stomac, more space allowable I imagine. This is the sound that comes with the feeling of it happening in the belly, not a sound alone. What physically happen is (my guess) gas and internal fluid melting. I know I'm not the only one to experience that, just curious about other's experiences witit.

Nope but thanks.

You may have a better feeling bear foot on the ground. But generaly gi gong/tai chi lessons take place in building so... I think that absolutly ok. There's something most people on this forum and the practice I have go separate ways : for me the main practice is to relieve the body from muscular tensions. A tension is like a fire, you put your energy in it to grow it. This is energy loss. So before to think how to cultivate we (the school I learn from) try to get loose, relaxed but steady. Endless job. I speak about that because that's a purpose of the tree, put tensions on highlight and work to relieve them, breathing them (is "them" correct here englishly speaking ?) more than gather energy from the ground. I think it's very wise, at least at my level. Wish you patience and dedication (Gone to drink tea and do horse stance !)

Nice work ! I think you should give to "movement/motion" the greatest importance, that's the main caracteristic of energy. Contained power is key too. If you can suggest that, it could be awesome.- 19 replies

What do you think the forum can do to attract some quality teachers?
CloudHands replied to thelerner's topic in General Discussion
(Honestly, I think if you want to learn you cannot go seriously only with internet. And before you are at some serious level there's no valid reason to look for a sifu (who will not take you anyway) a good teacher is more than enough. Little steps, little steps. I really think progression rely on practice and no one can burn the steps.) -
have some nice time here

Water's often sea as an analogue to the Tao. Taoist adept has to go up to its Origine. So he sails up to the source. So he goes against the flow. Thoughts ?

That's another way to say the same meaning. IMO It corroborates the idea I had firstly (without the ability to break the contradiction) : something like, you cannot put a world in a word. (I took a little moment to check the exact definition of spring) And when you look closer at it : water spring Web definitions A spring is a component of the hydrosphere. Specifically, it is any natural situation where water flows to the surface of the earth from underground. Thus, a spring is a site where the aquifer surface meets the ground surface. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_spring PS : when I was a human science student I have been told something that I still keep in mind : a word is not defined to be true but to be useful.

If think you go it. Anyway I fully agree with you : springs are sources not The source. T H A N K S
