I have done all the postures on VOL 2, the 3 warm-ups and the 3 MSW-- took me almost 4 hours! I started at around 9am and finished at 1pm. due to my very slow movements, that I was/am doing. The less "hungry thing" or not being hungry, I also experienced (and I physically felt energized). Thinking if I always do my FP MSW practice this way, I "think" , it might be possible to achieve the Bigu state from day to day, or be a breatharian?? But I don't personally prefer to be a breatharian--they all look psychically thin, though that's my personal opinion only FP and I seems to be really getting along And I think there is more to FP because I am just in the basic meds.

As for my short experience thing. I allow my self to be as relaxed as possible, and be aware of very slow movements. And when I do it this way (more aware of the movements), I noticed more FP energy. That is more involuntary movement will take place. How slow is mine for example? one seated of MSW (7 repetitions) , is taking me 30 minutes! Because I pay so much attention, or have more awareness of my my movement, somewhat trying to feel (but not really "trying" in a sense), and just let myself enjoy, and bask in the energy that is being manifested by FP and being circulated by the hand movements. Also, along when doing the seated meds, somewhat there are/were "certain positions" when I move my hands, seem to trigger more pronounced involuntary movements, so that when I noticed these certain spot positions, I instinctively choose to pause and hold on those positions for some time.. and just let the involuntary movement that arise takes place. Thinking that there might be resonances on those certain positions that is doing something to clear my energy blockages. Sometimes on my seated meds my whole body was shaking all over! And my head was WILDLY shaking side to side, left to right, as if I was being possessed! which was scary at first. Also some of my internal glands, especially liver, pancreas, was like being massage, I noticed they're throbbing. I am now a firm believer that these involuntary movements are being done by the internal energy and not by just by an induced placebo of myself -OK on VOL 2, the MSW #1 and #2, have meditative feeling (aside from tangible sublime energy). I can compare the soothing meditative feeling to Quantum-Entrainment's Eufeeling. MSW # 3 has an "upbeat energizing-enhancing" effect, that I think I will not do again when under the influence of horniness, or being angry--because I am on my 20th day of celibacy. And when I did the MSW #3, it enhanced my horniness so much, to the point not being able to control! So I ate something, to settle the build up energy but its still there. Then after two hours, I watched Just For Laughs, to circulate the energy due to laughing, but still I was uneasy, Then I decided to use/burn the "energy surcharge" and to use for my own version of BIG Mind Process and Void meditation combined. That seemed to help settle most of my uneasiness. So thinking, I somehow transmuted the horniness energy to shen energy per say? Bottom line, Flying Phoenix is very powerful indeed! and I am just in the "basic" meds. And I don't think I won't go to advanced meds, not anytime soon. Thank you Sifu Terry!

Eugene, You must have been confused by the preliminary demoing of the postures, that is just for the purpose of, and for you to be able to follow and memorize first, before you "actually" do the proper meditations--i.e. 3 breaths > breath percentage > posture exercise > 3 breaths. Just got the DVD, but been doing GM Doo Wai free youtube clip. To answer your question, as seen on the DVD.. it should be 3 breaths then breath percentage, before you do the "actual" posture exercise, and then after, do 3 breaths for ending your meditation session. So that will be VOL 2, MSW = 3 breaths > breath percentage > actual posture exercise (7 posture repetitions) > 3 breaths Hope that helps!

Thanks Sifu Terry. The advanced FP is getting exciting! I hope someone can learn them and report back. --- For the time being, (until my DVDs arrive) I have been practicing GM Doo Wai youtube clip, for 5 days now. and I noticed involuntary bodily movement and energizing effect. I do it on standing and sitting. But when on sitting position, I do it for like 40 minutes, I just feel the energy, just being aware of the relaxing energy. Also, I noticed that my mind is getting sharper and also having keen sense.

Hi Shagrath, I am still new to all of this QiGong. Sifu Terry will probably answer your questions when his back re FP martial system. I would like to know it too. and how to possibly learn it.
-
Hi Eugene and Shagrath, As for me reading all the post here, starting from the first page up to the last page 95, (took me 5-6 days of reading!) FP has healing and martial side. Sifu Terry's current DVDs 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5, and 7, only have the healing system. but not the martial side--because it is dangerous to practice, as Sifu Terry said, and on top of that there is specialized herbal tonic, 5 herb combination, one of them is ginger, the rest are secret That is to be used to protect your organs and nerves due to FP martial qigong is that powerful. and this herbal tonic combo is not published, because again, it is dangerous too. There are still other FP advanced "healing" meds, that Sifu Terry has not published yet, or I think you will go to him directly for you to learn them. it's worth reading all of the posts here. Hope that helps.

Thanks thelerner, Ok, I will do search "pangu form" as you suggested.
-
Hello thelerner, How do you find pan gu by michael winn? How's the chi energy? and your overall experience with it? Is the one on youtube is enough to learn the moving form? maybe you can add what's missing then? Oh am just beginning to this whole qigong thing. there are lots to read. Thanks

Hello, here is something interesting that I just stumbled upon. maybe someone may find it useful. http://consciouslifenews.com/powerful-manifestation-technique-qi-gong/1147825/ http://counterpoint2reality.wordpress.com/

Hello Sorry to hear your story, I wish you luck and be well.

Sifu Terry, I was reading back some of the posts but this caught my attention. This is very interesting, what if someone is doing Monk Holds Pearl in supine position in bed, and for reason his/her waking consciousness have slips in to sleeping mode? The whole night he/she is sleeping until the morning he/she wake-up? I could have imagined that someone might overload lower tan tien, or accumulate/cultivate powerful lower tan tien? will the excess chi rise to upper tan tiens? or any danger re health?

Thanks Fu dog. Ok this 50 70 20 10 is still not clear. but it is very possible that this is the 70 50 20 10. Maybe Sifu Terry can clarify it when he's not busy and have time to post. But then again I am glad these two MSW meds are in the possibility of having them on just one DVD--on Vol 7 And yes, it helps
-
Thanks Fu dog The 80 70 50 30 is confirmed at Vol 7 DVD. So the MSW 50 70 20 10 that Sifu Terry has noted for gray-to-black(brown) hair, is actually 90 80 50 20?? Or maybe the vol 7 DVD, 80 70 50 30 is enough? And any suggestion what DVDs to get for good looking skin? read your post on wrinkles. BTW this thread is a success.. thanks to you as the thread starter and for all the contributors

Yes I would like to know which DVD I had gone though reading all the posts and all of the 95 pages. anybody?
-
Hello Sifu Terry, What DVD Vol is this? These two seated meditations that can turn-back ,gray hair into black hair again (brown)? is it in Vol 2 or Vol 7? or in both DVDs? or anybody here who can answer? This is a very long thread.. I started reading at the first page and 3 days now I am only at page 50. Sifu Terry really take care of his students questions and supports them really well. Very good of him i'd say. Thanks

breath meditation, difference between concentration and insight?
ShivaShakti replied to Flolfolil's topic in General Discussion
I think being more "aware" leads to insight. Insights will more come to you when are in a state of more/high awareness. While concentration practice is more to develop will power and focus power (and I.Q.) -
Thanks for confirming

Thanks White Wolf But I do think I need to study and practice, and buy Gift of Tao DVDs first. And still need more time to digest and practice Stillness-Movement ebook. I am very new to all of this QiGong NeiGong, though I have minimal understanding and experience regarding yoga meditation since 1997. So maybe I can relate even for just a little. BTW just reading your S-M journal.. so far so good
-
How do you get transmissions? How much does it cost per session? Is it by by monthly? Is it possible to do remote transmission (via skype), without going to a real seminar, (like going to the USA)? Thanks.

Hi all Yes, I finally signed-up. Because I'm now more interested to practice Qi Gong once and for all.. for my health, and healing for others. I read about the dangers of it, (if not practiced right, wrong teachers and systems) and but in contrast to the amazing benefits. Flying Phoenix and Stillness-Movement seems to be safe and effective, easy to learn and fast results? Been doing meditation on and off since 1997. initiated into Tantra Yoga. Though the system is for spiritual self realization, not more on how to live your life in abundance, or your preferred reality. and not advocating using psychic power of any kind as well--yeah it's super strict. So I thought to study other systems (QiGong) as well, because this is how I feel I should be doing, and now is the time. Thus I would like to know more of this amazing Qi (and then some) Thanks for reading

Thanks Im planning to study Stillness-Movement. Since I grasped "some" of its idea behind it (seems easy for me to do).. by awareness and allowing together with the specific (sitting?) posture/s. but there's more to it than revitalizing and healing yourself and others as I read on this thread. http://thetaobums.co...nt/page__st__48 . What also attracted me. yes you're right , fast and easy might not be. But what should come first, is, more on safeness and effectiveness
-
Thanks rainbowvein Yes S-M resonated with me. S-M excites me about this unlocking your true passion, or life path.. your potentials/talents. This what separates and the selling point of S-M from the rest of QiGong systems, IMO. Healing others, especially your love ones is invaluable too. For now I will buy the ebook. then practice and practice.. then maybe one day I might have a chance to go to a seminar.. or this "distance" seminar, since I am located in an Asian country.

This rings.. as per Bashar says we come here and our agreements have been set. But if I remember it correctly, I think he also mentions that if we can access our soul blueprint (the agreement) with the help of our higher mind, then we can choose what do we prefer now, or what what we would likely to experience ... something like that.. OK, this is good as it means, that, S-M practice, elimantes/dissolving the blocks of your talent/s. Thus making your hidden talent/s to surface. Based on the statement. Dissolving blocks, physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually? or "Unlocking Yourself" hmmm... just speculating and thinking.. All sounds good to me. Thanks for sharing

This is very interesting, finding your life path. Another testimony of "life of synchronicities" S-M practice seems to be dissolving/unblocking/releasing the subconscious patterns/unconscious limiting beliefs?? If this is so, then this is one of the remarkable assets of Stillness Movement? Anyone here experiencing more synchronicities in their lives upon practicing S-M? I do wish if I practiced S-M long enough my life journey become the way I tend it more to be or more appropriate.. and not the gods of destiny (subconscious/unconscious) keep playing and tossing me around to learn and relearn, again and again very frustrating Thanks for sharing
-
"Synchronicity" This I wanted to know more... I read a very few S-M practitioner having this. That's why I am interested in Stillness Movement. But I may think again that each of these individuals just found their life-path, or "soul blueprint", or what excited them the most (Stillness movement what excites them), that's why they experiencing this synchronicity more than the others?? How about accessing your multi dimensional selves? futures/parallel selves? Thanks for sharing
