  1. What is Gratitude?

    What is actually Gratitude? Surely I know the feeling and I know it intellectually.. but what is the true fundamental meaning of it? Being actively grateful for something implies that we are not it. Rather it is given to us. But if my deepest nature and your deepest nature 'is' God, then why am I thankful? In the essence through you (another I am) I give it again to my Self. We do not actively perceive it as such through the illusion of seperation. So am I thankful for my Self? How can I be thankful for something that I am and that I do? It would be my very nature to do it, therefor it is nothing uncommon and I do not have the drive to express myself in gratitude. I am consciously carrying a feeling of being grateful for everything since I am on this planet. It is very quiet but it is there I do rarely have the urge to express it. I was often told as a child to "Say thank you..!" and I replied "But I am?" Might the energy of that which we call 'Gratitude' be something slightly different? Just like the idea of "love" is not really the energy of "love" we know here in the West. It is a part of it. But in the essence it is something much more deeper and unconsciously we mostly perceive only a miniscule fragment of it. What is Gratitude? I have to meditate on it.
  2. Isnt it? I just came home from a visit to my girlfriend, out from the cities, the crude energies and I could nearly cry out of nowhere. I dont even understand why. I even asked for it while I was driving home, what this is: If I should accept all emotions as the same, positive and negative. But this was not the point. Clearly something very deeply is going wrong here with our approach to spirituality of including both concepts. Forget negativity, we do not work with negativity other than transforming it. I am sick of my Self being stuck in it. Every day a deep effort in not identifying with these emotions. Yes, I allow myself to identify with positive, uplifting emotions. It is my birthright to do so. Otherwise I will be never able to create for goodness. There has to be a minimum positivity each day to live. Where do we get with a day half good, half bad? We want stability. Stability is not found in 50% shit 50% roses. Something more profound needs to be discovered. This negativity is like glue, like mire sticking to your feet and sucking you in. My girlfriend is so empathic that she feels every emotional state am I in. And she noticed that two women today, on our sightseeing trip we had, were disgusted by me, wondering why it felt so "wrong" near me. And I then recalled that situation, when she told me about those women and their reaction towards me, that I initially did not feel very well where I was standing, with the people around me. Cultivation energy, bringing more virtues in, for some reason - I lack the wisdom at the moment why this is the case - also can strenghten negative emotions you carry. And they become so loud, that they are felt by your surroundings in an instant. You clearly do not temper foolishly with these things. But at the same time just pause and imagine for one moment what beneficial effects this has: Increasing your being with higher energies and then automatically benefiting your surroundings with this positivity. Because I have already made experience with beneficial energies, such as others being affected my calmness after meditative sessions. But at that time, I didnt really believe in it. Now its totally different. I have my evidence that it works. My sole problem at the moment: How do I quickly get rid of negative emotional states. I have never learned how to transform them, send them into the earth, what so ever. When I feel them affecting me, it is like they cling so hard, I feel it like jumping off a bridge. And I am not kidding. Before these practices I saw myself to be stable. At this point, with this amount of experience - I would highly recommend Not doing any practices that invole raising your energies in an urban environment. Or do you know any monk building his spiritual foundation on a garbage dump? ... no idea why I write this.. But then I was eating in a vietnamese restaurant this evening and shortly before we wanted to leave this young asian female walked into the room, hesitantly asking for a table for one person. She radiated so much innocence. How can someone so delicate survive in an urban environment these days? It was such an awkward moment.. football fans all around, your random uncultivated fellow human beings and then this appearance...

    Easy, clean your gut. Eat fresh greens and fruit. Get fresh air, breath deeply and reduce your stress to 0. Greater clarity should come very fast. Next step: Clean your thoughts and rephrase / reprogram what thoughts reach you. Write them down if possible. Next to no thoughts is achieved with meditation once a day, starting with 10minutes in the evening before you go to bed. Increase time as you like. Then of course reduce your daily input of information to a bare minimum. Be selective what information you want to process and expand. It is like eating food. Your being then contains of the food you ate and the thoughts that reach you (and the creation you put out). Make an effortless effort in removing all negative thoughts. Since they Also cause stress = more eating, unbalanced lifestyle. Thoughts must have priority #1 even though I write this nearly in the mid to end here. Also keep in mind that often people do not get the results they want because 1.) they have some imaginary results in their head and when they should happen. Meaning removing all expectations. Forget "stages" and 2.) because they are not consistent with their practice. Everything works in cycles and if you miss cycles.. you miss cycles. Every child knows what that means
  4. Okay okay, I admit: I asked question #1 because of curiosity arouse on how to deal with cold energies affecting the body. Becoming immune to cold or heat, would simply mean, that the entire body would climb up one ladder in higher elements, correct? With everything that goes with it and us being then in somewhat of a transcendental state, where our physical body holds different energies (and of course higher mindset/understanding of things)

Oh and I want to add, that these energy practices with Higher Energies makes it very easy for oneself to stay (or be more often) in a state of faster regeneration from such negativity and therefor leaving the individuals causing damage surprised, by oneself being non attached to their creation. No resentment, no revenge. The goodness shines through and boy is it strong!
  6. It feels funny where I am now, compared to before. And I love seeing myself answering my own questions again. Already happened a few times on this forum in the past. Who is this "seeker" you speak about? Judgement lead me to the arguement today. I foresee often where people go in the near future, through the very action they do in a critical moment. But apparently it is not wanted and I get heavily attacked, when ever I do it. My girlfriend 1:1 the same picture with her family, we have a good laugh about it. Today I did not knew if I should laugh or what to do else, so I shrugged it off and let it go away. Where is this initial seriousness coming from? Inexperience?
  7. What I do in these situations is similar, I make the best out of it. You do not worry about Karma. The idea of Karma is just uncomfortable from a human perspective, spirit loves to dive into it, to expand. Uncomfortable from a human perspective due to fantasy and misconceptions of "hell" and "suffering". Believe me, this is hell, there is no greater hell. Emotional hell, is hell. There is no hell down below, in a seperate dimension. There should be no worries, since you can work out all Karma in one lifetime doing various Exercises like Primordial Qigong, which neutralize all Karma. Neutralize not in a sense of *pouf gone* but rather Karma being presented to you, everywhere you are, right here and right now. Why? Because you wash yourself with cleaner Personal, earthly and primal heavenly energies. Those karmic, energetic patterns can not stay. I simply watched my first lesson yesterday and had my greatest dump in years. Sounds very crude, probably gross, but it was as it is. Even just watching it, something had to move. This is where I am also. Naturally I am always the one who made everyone smile and laugh and naturally was the one being bullied in school. Everyone wants a piece. Was never different. Also I soak up everything. Similar my girlfriend. But it is very helpful to have likeminded around you, to perfect your methods on how to deal and solve situations. The trouble with being a sponge slowly dissolves through learning of energy transformation, negative into possitive. Several methods out there and very easy. So easy that you might doubt they work. But they work! Intensely. - I want to add, that interestingly enough, after this extremely arguement I had today (loads of it in the past, slight bettering this year) I could let go off my emotions very fast. I felt very sad, rooted myself with an extensive horse stance, lateron cried and then quickly went into a short meditation, connected to my heart and the tangible Universal Love all around us and drew that Energy into my heart, through my mideye brow. This is so transformative, that around 5minutes later everything went better so fast! I am very new to this that I am literally suprised by the effects on my emotions and on my entire system. Before I had thoughts of genocide, can you imagine? They were all neutralized. I did not eat, did not stimulate myself in any other form other than connecting to this energy.
  8. anointing, anointed - is not some herbal mixture you wrap a person in and wish him many blessings so half-baked, half-true and incomplete anointing means covering oneself or others in both sexual energy and what we know as loving energy. Similar to the post I made a few months ago with the biblical quote of Jesus giving birth to Mary. He did not gave physical birth to her, Mary is Jesus. Jesus' female half. He completed his male with his female creative forces. "The Anointed One" is a being that successfully is able to mix his Personal, Sexual Energy and the Universal (Loving) Energy together to one powerful and transformative energy. Get your mind out of the gutter, that is not covering yourself in sperm and vaginal fluid. The essence, your personal energy also known as sexual energy or creative energy is the energy that enables sperm and egg to perform a task of creating new physical life. Without this energy sperm and egg are useless. Incomplete. Whats the Taoist or Mythical term for this Loving Energy, actually? Essence for sexual energy. Loving energy sounds so hyper corny and somewhat wrong to me. I have no problem with love and sharing my love and I enjoy doing it, but "Love" - is so not the right term for it This is basic Taoist Alchemy. Your precious godgiven, creative energy to build upon a stable foundation. What is required to make this successful? A stable foundation. Groundedness. Realizing your lower nature. Literally. From the waste downward. Earth energy, negative ions - loads of it. All the best.
  9. Very interesting. I am still about to experience how transcendency feels like. Very, very curious. Although I am sure it will not present itself as something mysterious, rather 'normal' but still very profound. I had such a glimpse of an intermediate state last night when I was about to fall asleep -or- when I woke up in the middle of the night. I cant recall it precisely (and amusingly recall it but now, 9hours later), something about a picture puzzle door as I have seen it before but this time made it perfectly clear (although lacking the more complete picture right now) how these were all the stages we go through in Bardo (?), showing all aspects of humanity / the entire human creation. Our entire identification as a human being so to speak.
  10. Yes but how can you cultivate internally (and then act upon externally of course) when you feel the external pushing so hard on the inside? Therefor the question of intoxication arises. To this I include processed sugar without a doubt! I can deal with everything when I get sugar during the day, but without? "Oh whats going on with you, why are you not happy?" Yes, this is also to some extend my approach to life but you have left out the second point and it is all about the second point. Really, I would live a blissful life only caring for myself. And I do to 90% but whenever I start caring for others, opening up to my surroundings, an internal hell breaks lose. Ask other empaths. Funny even having the term that there are non-empaths out there. Feel emotions! and then stop eating sugar and lets have a conversation again how you "survive" the day! Becoming sensitive to fundamental aspects of life itself while ignoring certain aspects to it? How would that work? It's impossible that we have to live ignorant to some degree to manage this life. For this conversation you need to have a properly developed Right Brain. I hope that this is not too much asked for..
  11. We do not really want to discuss this here, do we? If so I would start and state that experience very well can be gathered. We learn through our actions. Basic muscle memory. The mind then stores of what we have put together and have experienced. To say experience cannot be gathered would be as to say the term "to experience" does not exist. Experience in itself means gathering of something. Even just witnessing it is a gathering. Gathering also can but not necessarily means holding on to it. But I know where you are coming from. Everything is out there waiting for us to remember. But we can only remember what has once being experienced. Correct? So basicly tap into the experience of another being. To re-experience that experience. But experience can not be given to someone, just the basic tools to experience. But (for my current understanding) never experience itself. Or is there a tangible tool that perfectly lets you experience what I am witnessing right now with all of my limited Self? Sure there might be possibilities, but do you have actual experience?

  13. I am already aware of the benefits of advanced alchemic practices, incorporating energy what we know and express in the physical as virtues. And so I want to incorporate these energies also in my movement. I want to practice Qigong or Tai Chi to extend what is already known as "The three Jewels of Taoism", the ethics of Taoism, compassion, moderation and humility. Every individual on his MMA path will lateron discover that in order to further increase and refine Chi, one has to naturally understand and transform all dualistic aspects of his nature. This involves general patterns you see in MMA teachings as pride, the general sense of combat itself with it's offender-victim-relationship and similar. Since I already am and becoming more and more aware of this all as we speak, realising the benefits of these energies, but at the same time live in a culture in Europe empty of any system that further incorporate these energies - what Qigong and / or Tai Chi style is known for exactly the integration and further refinement of what I just mentioned? I only know tiny fragments of such teachings from Buddhism, but since we contemplate about Taoism here, what roots can we find there?

    Digging out* The presented hair itself also represents ones stage of inner cultivation. As shortly mentioned in an above post. Hair itself is getting brigher and silkier the more one cultivates body, mind and spirit. Would you call that ego? Very hard to tell. I personally let my hair grow and at the same time do not care for it. I only care for it's health like an extension of my bodies health. And at the same time so much can be instantly seen and understood by looking at hair in perfect condition. How about a simple tool of getting into communication with eachother? You will attract people you would have never attracted before. Surely they will look at it from the very, very outside - and then you will tell them a little story to contemplate upon. And one thing leads to another and they will find themselves on a spiritual journey. One possibilities of many..
  15. Yes, there is an Ultimate Reality beyond our personal perspectives. We have many individuals on this planet claiming that there is none. But clearly the more deeper you go, the more you understand about our interconnectedness, the more you will understand this on your path. But once you have finished reading this, forget it again. Since I do not want to cloud your mind with what I have come across. I do not want you to mimic me and think you have understood something, but clearly you have not. You have simply adopted wisdom an individual has gained, intellectually. But you lack experierence. And one can stand in front of you and listen to your words but feel that you are just repeating it and that it is not engraved into your very being through self-experience. And we have a lot of these individuals around, including myself before I realized this. That I have apparently so much wisdom gained, but all of this wasnt mine. It just sounded right or felt right. But in the end, I didnt come up with it in the first place. I didnt have this experience, so in total: I was missing many many puzzle pieces to fully understand what the story-teller I had listen to wanted me to understand. - When you look through both of your physical eyes. You see the past. Maybe you have come across this in the form of a saying. But here I mean it literal. Our both physical eyes work in a way of transporting images, pictures to our brain. See it like frames/images/pictures per second (like you know from your computer screen, games.. etc) getting send to the processing unit in your body. And since this happens really fast, many pictures are getting fired to the section in our brain responsible for processing this, it all looks like a movie. Like a film. We have perfectly recreated this. You might have already grasped this in the beginning stages as what we know as afterglow or afterimage. When you look at some object with a rather tired or relaxed gaze and then move your eyes without blinking, you see that the object you have looked at gets somewhat dragged across the next location you want to look at. You drag the image with you, so to say. Until? Until you blink. Yes, our magical blinking eyelids! Making the illusion of the movie pefect Now what do our eyelids do? They remove the past image and in a very very fast pace layer new images ontop. So you have very little chance to actually see this during your busy lifes. But all of this you can discover and perceive for yourself. Nothing indivdual. Just as this section of our body works. Every image, is the past. So whatever we look at with our physical eyes, is the past. Now you have an easier time understanding this saying, grasp more of its deeper meaning. And how do we perceive the reality fully around us? Yes, that is what I am about to discover more and more myself. Is has to do with developing a gaze with our physical eyes and seeing like a little baby does. A little baby can not see sharp corners of an object. The object (parents at first) fade with what is around the object. It concerns itself more with what is around the object, than the object itself. Yes, with this seeing you then can also perceive auras for the first time again since your body was that of a small baby. It has to do with much less to possibly no blinking of the physical eyes ever again. Personally I practice this with sun-gazing. You train yourself to blink less each time you gaze into the sun. And ultimatelly our seeing senses will then merge with what we know as the Third Eye and all the other visual organs related to it, most are unconscious of that they even exist. Will this then make us unable to see with our physical eyes anymore? Will we go what we call "blind"? No, not at all. It will work out like a switching on and off of different senses. Something new is then added to how you already know of how to perceive this reality. An extra tool. Like said, most likely merging of senses. I am excited!
  16. I hold my hands out and let the sun shine on it, hold my hands closer to my eyes so that I see more of the surface, of the skin. And I see between each miniscule wrinkle of each finger of my open palm how iridiscent every inch glows. Shimmering in all colors like we know it from looking at a pearl or the inside of many sea shells. Have you ever noticed? If not, go do it now and see for yourself.
  17. You all know the ability of our bodily senses to adapt to a certain environment and situation where we are currently in, so it does not have to fire off and keep firing sensual reflexes. Such as you enter a room, smell a certain odor and after a time you do not smell it consciously anymore. Same goes for the warmth beneath your feet when you stand on the ground. You stand on a hot surface and after a period of time you do no longer feel the surface as hot, merely as warm or pleasant. But the surface itself, is still hot. Beautiful, isn't it? I practiced both types of vertical Qi emissions and one horizontal. After each breathing exercise I went into what is known as embracing the tree. By doing this and also in the short exercise after, letting my arms hang down and while on the inhale make a slight outward movement, on the inhale coming in.. I noticed a tremendous burning sensation slightly above the Yong Quan accupuncture point on the soles of my feet. I have to add that I train myself to walk barefoot as much as I can for a greater sense of rootedness and I can walk on rather hot surface like it is now in the summer. But this kind of burning was totally new and left me with sore spots on both balls of my feet. What was this intense friction?

Say for example the main goal in your life is to uncover all unconscious aspects in your life, live fully conscious in all parts - would it be okay for you, lets say like going on vacation, to step "back" into a period of your life again where you actively choose to live an unconscious life for some time? Living consciously unconscious, so to speak. Only to get some 'rest' would I call it. Resting from experiencing reality.. how funny actually I came up with this, because I have witnessed that the deeper you go, you uncover very creepy things. Basicly those things aren't creepy in itself but your whole imagination of what life should be and ultimately not is, then realizing the truth, can be sometimes feel really ... cant barely find a word for it ... disturbing? Fear inducing. But as most of us (at least) conceptionally already know: Fear is an illusion so it all makes sense. Do you occasionally go on such a vacation?
  20. Dear Ones, I'm really interested if anyone else here lives a meditative lifestyle and does some sports at the same time. What sports, what exercises? Originally I come from long-distance running and I loved that, but my personal development drove me into meditation and as expected everything became much more quiet. Which is just what I always wanted. Qi Gong has been recently introduced into my day, but I feel I lack an exercise that pushes my bodies condition abit. I say this right out fully honest: I have bad bowel movements. Yep, there you go. I follow a typical Taoist Diet with only vegetarian food, balanced and the right amount of liquid. My appendix was removed in a surgery a few years ago and who every has information about such a surgery might know that this "can" cause some issues with bowel movements due to not having the right amounts of enzymes ready for digestion. So sports always did the trick... Maybe I can learn something from you! Who knows. What kind of cardio exercises do you have integrated into your meditative lifestyle?     Stress is so easily mixed into our practice when we dont do it in the most quiet of places.. This can be such a pain. Simply a neighbor electrically mowing his lawn while practicing tai-chi or other can / does set all molecules in a stressful state - and then your mind has to work against, put additional effort in it. I always like to tell myself, yes this is all aditional practice to sharpen ones focus ... to find the silence in noise ... but at the same time I have moments where I call this just plain and utter bullshit as an excuse to not seek very quiet places. All the best to your adrenals. An excerpt from an article regarding our daily cravings - no idea if it helps you specifically but if not then maybe others "Cravings for salty foods like potato chips or popcorn often means chronic stress may be taking a toll on your adrenal glands—two triangular-shaped glands that sit atop the kidneys and give us energy and help us to cope with stress of all kinds. Getting on top of the stress in your life is essential. Try medita­tion, breathing exercises, or other stress management techniques. Research at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City showed that people who take a break to breathe deeply or meditate before reach­ing for salty snacks reduced their stress hormones by 25 percent and cut the binging in half."
  22. ...or all three. In any case, there is an important thing to learn: The differentiation between attachment, detachment and being un-attached. I came up with this article searching on the interwebs for like-minded perceptions, as we all do. Google search key: "stay away from mirrors" Why the heck staying away from mirrors? Hm, because it feels pleasent to this one here. The longer this one stays away from looking in the mirror, the pleasant this one feels. Not avoiding it, just not paying attention to it. Why? About to find out. And then this one has found an article from another female individual who wrote that she avoids mirrors wherever she goes. Avoids shiny objects, it became like a sickness she lets us know. Do you know why? This one knows. And maybe you understand the clear misconception about Buddhism. Many Buddhists speak about detachment. It is the wrong term and the wrong intention behind it. Yes wrong, if one wants to be addicted anymore. To, whatever.. To get the terms straight: Attachment is clearly understood as addiction in myriad of forms we know. From small to big. All the same in the end, fractiles of staring too long on something physical. A clear Plus Forward. Detachment is what the author of this article performed. She has or had an aversion towards mirroring surfaces. This is the opposite of attachment. And this is a clear Minus Backwards. Now we have both literal forces, omni-present and everywhere, mostly known as Yin and Yang. The force that pushes forwards, advances and creates Yang and the force that retreats, receives Yin. To give them just a few of countless other descriptions. But both of those create an addiction. Both of those create. You can be addicted, you can cling to something even in a negative fashion and believe it or not: Both have the same value. The same strength in vibration, the same clinging-factor, so to speak. But are obviously on a contrary vibrational level. The one goes "up" or wherever we want to let it flow and the other one goes "down". The solution to this is: Having no aversion what so ever. And yes, that is a learning process. Because that is how we usually are. At first we receive, then we like and adore and then we are too immature to know when it is enough so it creates an imbalance that leads to such a mess, that it totally gets out of control and we start to dislike or even hate what we once liked. Typical behaviour on auto-pilot as this one likes to call it. The same thing, like said, both are of equal value. Not only philosophical but also (both and) spiritual, physical, biological and what not. To be un-attached is the key. To let it pass by you and do not pay any attention to it. Surely you can look at it. Even look in the mirror and see it slowly having no affect on you anymore. This is then like having the courage to carefully going out of your cave again, call it your house or your appartment.. into the sunlight and embrace the world, creation, once again. But from a completely new vantage point: The void, the emptiness. The emptiness that is understood as empty but is not empty, for it contains all things. It contains all creation. So it is empty but not empty. Yes humans like to write in such terms, this one likes it aswell. Look the things right in the eyes. With determination. Be the shaman! Seek the fear. See how every cell in your body shows you it's memory, your past affection reaching out to this point where you stand and watch. Observe it and see the ripples it creates, in your entire system. This is all your creation by living unconscious, by letting things happen and being like a hose in the wind. This is then the observer again. The famous, impersonal observer. You are it and "I am" also. Don't get me wrong, you can be a hose in the wind - actually it is good to be a hose in the wind. But do not identify yourself as such, just go with the wind and don't have any affection to the wind or you will become one of those hoses who look really shredded. Ragged because you have created resistance to the flow of life in which you live. There is no 'inside or' ..outside or whatever-side. No 'in my house and' ..back out in society. There is only 'inside and' ..everywhere at the same time. Reduce your distinctions mindfully. Another piece to the puzzle: We have learned to divide, we have created a puzzle out of such a wonderful and complete picture. We have shredded the image and now we recollect. All the best.
  23. Bullshit. Same as people saying marathons are lethal. They are not, like with EVERYTHING stuff is detrimental when you approach it with the WRONG MIND SET. That is the key here and with everything. What happens when I want to clean out my system and I am agitated and continue to do so? Simple Qigong practices #1 advice to relax yourself? If I continue in this agitated state I will draw in energy and form this energy in an agitated way and ultimately bring agitation in all parts of my body. Which I have personally done and thankfully rapidly understood. Same goes for all parts of the body: You can approach all parts in a calm and understanding fashion and you will read all signs clearly. And then be able to get going, retreat or simple observe. There is a huge thing to understand with this three ways: For example .. my favorite example .. Dr.Yang teaches that we should not focus on the heart because it can create overheating. But what kind of focus does he mean? Those he mean a "yang-like focus" ? No pun intended. Or does he mean a ying-like focus? Or does he mean simple observing and not creating any further, since Yang and Ying are both creational aspects? If we stay in a point of observation, pure observation - not even the miniscule and fine part of our body will get hurt by this act. BUT if we attempt to approach, especially organs, with two of these creational aspects - Yang and Ying, THEN we can create great damage. We either put too much energy in or drain too much out. And is this really our job? How can I perform such actions?? Am I a master-creator? Have I studied my body for millenia and can precisely say what organ needs what amount of charge? We are tempering here with something we should not have even tempred in the first place. And not at all from a personal perspective. Because then you look like M.Chia and Dr.Yang and other fellow "elder" individuals who are bloated up and look far from healthy .. totally different from what they actually teach. It might be that they have approached in a right way, but got drifted off of a set observative path. I for sure know for myself that I will solely take on the role of the observer and not from a creator. Not from this point. There is so-much to ruin if you approach all of this from a personal, individual point. Please remember: There is no room for opinions. God does not throw dices with what is possible and what is not possible. Our system is in perfect harmony if we let our far greater intelligence handle it.
