  1. What if it was simple

Do you ever wonder if all this Chi Quong, Tai Chi, Nei Gong, or anything that has to do with energy work, could be simplified down to the basic level? Something so simple that is was like flipping a mental switch to make it all available to anyone at anytime. I'm not discounting any practice or anything, but I can't help but be suspicious of anything that has been in the realm of humans for thousands of years. Humans tend to have ego issues, crave power and some have been willing to do anything to get that, including lying and killing. They have done the same to keep it. There is no profit, monetarily or egoistically, if something is simple and free, but if you make it really complicated, then you can charge others to teach it too them, or use it to heal them. Just something to ponder...

  5. What if it was simple

Perhaps, to break it down even further, to it's simplest form, we could call it intent, the secret sauce of energy movement. Now how do you go about getting intent to work?

  8. What is the point

Is that so? I'm routing for you.
  9. What is the point

What I mean by self supporting is earning your own money from a job and paying your own bills. Most of the world isn't like ancient China anymore, where you could go beg a bowl of rice and still be respected for being a monk and having all your lofty principals to live by. Fighting a broken system is easier to do, when you have food, shelter and a little money in your pocket. Lot's of people have gone before you, done and spoke what you speak of, but the ones that survived to fight another day, ended up getting a job. The rest are either trust fund babies, homeless, dead, or in institutions. The wisest one, is the one that can learn from other peoples mistakes.
  10. What is the point

Food and shelter are our first concerns. You can't eat words and principals won't keep the rain out. Being self supporting not only takes care of the the first two concerns, but also takes care of self worth, which mooching off of others does not do. Being of service, not only increases self worth, but builds character and self confidence. Then, one can start to contemplate the cosmos and not have to worry about where the next meal is coming from and whether or not they should kill themselves, or others, because of low or no self-worth.
  11. What is the point

Lofty words and esoteric principals are better contemplated on, a full stomach, someplace warm and dry.
  12. What is the point

Ok, if you really, really, really want the solution, then you will have to reach for it. But until that time comes, then nothing will ever change. You have to be willing to change, then you have to move in that direction quickly - seize the moment of change and flow with it. Moving in a direction, really cuts into your sitting around, thinking time, but there will be lots of time for that later, so don't worry. Being self supporting through your own contributions, is an integral part of existing in our society today and is essential to self worth. If you live a simple, uncomplicated life, then you don't need much to get by, any old minimum wage job will do, to start, then figure out a way to be of service, which will give you more purpose in life. There is something magic that happens when you help others, so don't miss out on that. I wrote this many years ago, when I was stuck: There is this person, that I'm supposed to be and this person that I've always been and a thousand miles of distance stands in between them. With such a daunting distance, it's no wonder that I've never begun, but it's clear to me now, that the fear of the how, or maybe just the not knowing, has kept me stuck, deep in this rut, and not let me go, where I'm going.

  20. Help! Ive fallen and I can't get up.

I don't know what to tell you about traffic, I battle with that one myself, probably because everyone I see driving stupidly, secretly reminds me of myself, only I just don't seem to remember it in the moment. I've found with my "other people" problems, it almost always comes back to me and my unwillingness to look at my part in things. Things I just don't remember, or are unaware of. People respond, or react, might be a better way to put it, to much of what they encounter in dealings with others. It might be how we talk to people, how we listen, how we look at them - with a frown or a smile, even our body posture. Maybe we sound smug when we talk to some people or complain and they resent it. Then there is always the possibility that they might be having a bad day too and we are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The best thing for me though, is to honestly look for my part in it, because that's really the only thing I can change.

Ok, what if you don't take yourself serious and just accept where ever it is, that your reality places you, without judgment. Sort of free floating and watching the game, without care of outcome.
