Just a quick note: I found that several small spray bottles of rubbing alcohol are very effective in sanitizing: It is not necessary to open a container of wipes (and dispose of the wipe) One spray on one hand is more than enough for both hands Can easily carry in pockets Fine mist can clean keys and fobs and phones and door knobs and steering wheels and shift knobs - can be purchased super small or as large as you want. -

This is like evangelicals and fox fantasy - separately twisted and together seriously closed off from reality. Your mind loops are stuck in lower mind and you are convinced you are in higher mind or that at least you see the highest light and are in a struggle to overcome the demons. Seek help - it really is simply a matter of coming UP for air. I noticed Amazon offers some devices that are like speakers with a video screen and you can say âalexia call momâ and it will contact her device like it on the other end and if she answers she will be on the screen and peering into your room and you will be peering into hers. We were looking into these devices quite awhile ago as a way to bring our sons grandparents more into our / his life. They were the subject of privacy issues not long ago - a hot topic - one that we were not afraid of but at least one grandparent was nearly terrified of. -

The article on twitch did not have much on what it really is but rather how different it was from an undisruptive setting. Appears to be live Youtube with audience bombardment. It would be helpful to clarify a bit what a particular technology is for rather than just links to a hunting expedition - it was somewhat interesting but appears to be shallow and twitter like - not sure if this is the case but the article did little to clarify its efficacy for doing what ever it does or does well. It is easy to come up with a thousand ways to occupy ones self in trance online - but for sequester in place we need to find new ways that exist to talk to each other but not necessarily on the phone. Face to face technologies for business and home life with friends. Also if anything in terms of hardware might be helpful. I am familiar with Zoom and Adobe Conferencing technologies - Zoom is good for teaching and classroom engagement and if your audience is under I think 100 attendees and class is 40 minutes or less - then itâs free. I pay somewhere around $14 per month and it allows me to go over 40 minutes and gives me a very minimal storage - enough to record one or two vids before I run out of storage. I can Zoom on an iphone or iPad or Mac or anything to anyone on any platform - it does not require high transmission rates and appears to need even less than FaceTime. You can choose to let others control the screen, make the students appear in big clusters or small ones along the top or sides. You can mute them or allow open dialog. You can cut someone off if they forgot and have their mic on while they are talking to someone else. It is easy and versatile with tons of tutorial videos and weekly live workshops. -

So many things in flux - and the stock market had the worst drop since the 1987 Reagan Administration Crash and on Par in many ways with the 2008 Bush administration crash. Our sons school asked that if we could - to please keep our children at home. The grocery stores are buzzing but that has been taking place for awhile and toilet paper is on most shelves. We have food and sanitizers and fuel in our vehicles. Getting acclimated to Zoom online conferencing - I think perhaps this is the area we need to now talk about - functioning from home in new and productive ways. FaceTime type technologies and video communication - tutorial suggestions - etc. -
Meditating to Music vs Meditating in Silence
Spotless replied to Heartbreak's topic in General Discussion
Certain music will induce inertiaâs of the senses, ones positions, emotions and or engagement of frequencies of trance - abiding awareness is thus distracted and obscured. Many think that trance is a beneficial abidance aiding in no thought - it is loss of self and embodiment as a sort of waking sleep - in a sense it is a clearer form of the sleep walking that most live and die their entire lives IN - it is far more a drug and easily addicted to as one is already addicted to it and this is simply an exciting clearer more distilled form - it is easy to get âhighâ in these trance states and mistake the unshackling lightness for âa higher stateâ rather than what it is - a cleaner more fully entrained drugged state. If one has reached abiding awareness - divine essence - music may be heard in the tingling of the air and the great horns and twinklings of the celestial - and some music played from a recording may also be pleasant while not distracting. The gross physical and gross subtle and subtle bodies can benefit from music - it does not need to be categorized as good or bad during meditation - it is available in many forms. In general - music during meditation would not be recommended for beginners, nor intermediates and including most âadvancedâ practitioners. But regardless of recommendation - it can also be no problem. -
Meditating to Music vs Meditating in Silence

This is a very fine and excellent point. One can see this as ânot being in inertiaâ - but we tend to forget that inertia is not just âbeing in the inertia of movementâ - it is often âbeing in the inertia of stillnessâ and in both cases one is in the grasp of intention/willfulness/trance/futures. IN the essence of pure awareness one is unbothered if someone knocks on the door while we are in sitting meditation - and with no disturbance we may choose to go to the door or let it pass. If we are IN âat rest nessâ we are IN the inertia of âan object at restâ and the knock will disturb the inertia. -
This is âsewer mindâ It is the verbiage of the dying religions. It is the living quagmire of resistance and position and the unknowing adoration of the âdevilâ and other tiny gnats that are elevated in the sewer mind to positions of absurd imaginings brought upon those held in its many spells.

There has been reference to the idea that the MCO when opened fully is perhaps a kundalini experience. This is not the case - though it is similar in the sense of the immensity of the energies and experience. The full opening of the MCO does not recede but it is incorporated into a number of prolonged transformations and unifications of various previously somewhat separated channels and subtle bodies. Kundalini in its higher forms is utterly striking and does also transform but generally it rises with incalculable intensity for generally fairly brief periods. I have experienced it many times in many different ways - one of the most surprising was during sex with a girl I had met on a beach in Tahoe only hours earlier. Suddenly from the tip of my member to the top of my head the incredible extremes of kundalini opened in an aching relentless intensity. On another occasion 14 hours into a sitting meditation a blast of kundalini from the base of my spine shot up the sushumna in a column of energy that was the size of a fire hydrant fully open and many times the force. It fully blew my awareness up above my head and there it sat floating above the massive energy fountain until it subsided and awareness floated peacefully back into the center of the head where I meditated for another 4 hours. In another case I was doing holotropic breathing in a class and suddenly about 1 hour into constant breathing I inverted into a yoga pose I would not have considered possible since I had not done it for at least 15 years. It is the one in which the body is facing stomach to ceiling in a full arch with hands inverted towards the head. I could completely see and feel all of my chakras - I could look at them from any angle and see them on my skin and down into them and around them and everywhere I put any awareness. If I had chosen to I could have hopped around in that âimpossible poseâ such was the extreme energy and physical certainty and power. The âimpossible poseâ was a visceral necessary spontaneous non-doing happening - everything was electric âĄď¸ In the opening of the MCO initially and since now for years I began to feel as if I was floating while I walked - a very grounded feeling but the weight and effort of my body was gone. I did not associate this with my MCO perhaps because I have not had any indoctrination into the teachings of Qi Gong - I simply practiced it with an elite grand master that speaks no english so most of the teaching was him tweaking my subtle posture here and there and occasionally asking him a question with a translator if needed (I practiced with him six to seven days a week for years). When the MCO fully opened it was completely unexpected and huge - a massive circuit of energy rotating up the ren and down the du. 8-10 inches in diameter in the main column with energy extending well outside of that. For weeks prior to this huge tubes of energy had built up and I felt like the Michelin Man - they had fused and transformed and fused and transformed several times as all became a unified field and many âseparateâ channels became a field.

Whatâs wrong with choosing Siddhis over materialism including sex?
Spotless replied to Heartbreak's topic in General Discussion
We are born with many siddhis - but they are overwritten time and again with petty worries and mind loops of fear as well as pecking order puffery and pursuits. A great many are functioning in our daily lives but our loudness hides them in its noise. We are acclimated to judgement and competition and subjugation with that which we perceive as outside of ourself. We dissipate in our crudeness and shutdown and wall off in our judgement - and the seeds of higher nature do not sprout. We are mesmerized by our ever expanding positions and settle into our comfortable assumed limits and fortifications Sex, things, enthusiasm for life is no hindrance whatsoever to siddhis or Awakening - it is grasping upon our relationships to them - being proud - looking down with a frown - adopting our prowess or our failings in a me-ness that anchors us to premature deaths on a thousand unexamined planes. Fear - and all the knobs we grab to hold us upright against a storm which in reality does not exist - this constant deepening cluster of resistances and buttress - this trance is what we become - it is the spell of comfort foods we have placated ourselves with. Sex, things - Living and dancing - these do not contain badness - it is the grasping of them that perverts them. The blame we concoct for our perverse bent grasping on others, victimhood and devils - entities whether real or imagined are not and have never been âthe problemâ. And our resistances are the super glues and magnetisms that hold them and attract them and everything that jams up and obscures our relationship with Self - Divine Essence. -
Whatâs wrong with choosing Siddhis over materialism including sex?
Spotless replied to Heartbreak's topic in General Discussion
Whether beings outside of you exist or whether theyâre a figment of your imagination, resistance to them - real or not is like inviting Ants to the picnic. I would suggest you stop inviting ants to your picnic - your resistance attracts, holds, grabs all the figures that you mention whether real or imagined. There is not one entity - real or imagined that can touch You - and on the mundane plane there is not one entity real or imagined that can touch you if you are above the planes of fear and extrapolation within it. The fiercest of beings is but lint to any of the higher planes - and these âhigherâ planes are not some exalted out of reach planes reserved for the âperfectedâ - they are here and now in a flower - in a forest - in a head not filled with fear. Allow your vibration to be unshackled and rise - drop the focus on the lower teachings of religion and superstition - whether real or imagined - unclench from this petty banter and the rituals of the lower realms. I am not asking you to put your head in unicorns and rainbows - just pull it out of the bowels of fear. I am reminded of the story of a great guru who was asked by his village to give them something to ward off evil spirits. Evil spirits that were hunting them and attacking them. So he taught them very carefully over quite a bit of time some very ââ secretâ and powerful mantras. One of his close students asked why he gave the simple mantras for reaching higher consciousness - that they were not meant for warring off beings - and he replied ânothing is more effective - they have no power âthereâ. -
This is a bit of a side note but on the way to Burning Man this year I went to Reno first and it was a real eye-opener how much Reno had changed over the past few decades particularly the last decade. Several casinos have been changed into party places with Rock wall climbing and Bowling and bars and dance areas and fun things to do. Downtown instead of âsurprisedâ looking overweight tourist from all over the place there were a lot of young people and very expensive bicycles and excitement in the air. It was obvious many of them had come from Silicon Valley to the boom going on in Reno because of the massive Tesla factory And other factories in the area near the Tesla factory. Whole sections that used to be used cars and pawnshops are now yoga parlors and vegan restaurants and juice barâs , fine coffee shops, microbreweries and an entirely different healthy group. It was actually pretty astounding, I used to live in Reno - I had a place in Reno and a place in Vegas when I used to play a lot of poker. Reno was always kind of a trashcan In a low-end tourist spot surrounded by beautiful mountains and desert and all kinds of things to do outside but in such a dusty kind of messy atmosphere - the energy level was always pretty pathetic. This is absolutely unequivocally starting to change and with Tahoe right nearby itâs pretty promising. Also every year with the massive influx of the Burning Man groups, what was originally a lot of resistance to this type of activity has changed very very dramatically - the police in the area have reacted favorably obviously because of the money involved but also because they found that a lot of the so-called hippies were actually very environmentally conscious and actually practiced what they preached and they were not nearly as wild or looney of leftist as was thought in the original caricature but far more responsible and able to have a wild Nevada experience - itâs actually played into the âold westâ caricature of Nevada - and it brings millions into the economy (though not much goes to the casinos - which is really helping to change the whole Reno matrix). My friends used to go out and shoot propane tanks and blow up things - that still takes place - but then it gets cleaned up afterward - like really cleaned up. Nothing per se wrong with playing with guns - and the sheriff did not mind - they were surprised to find us out there with a mix of vets and active service and medics and doctors and builders and electricians and renown artists. Nevada itself has really been changing. I attended CES this year again but had been away for a few years. The whole town has changed for the better. Not long ago each casino was pretty much set back considerably from the street and each casino tried to keep their patrons close at hand and really were not into sharing. Now the casinos have crept up right to the street and itâs all about the Las Vegas experience and the fact is people are going to move around a lot but they have a lot more fun being able to easily move about from one casino to the next rather than having to get in cars or taxis just to go to the next casino. so now what happened downtown where all the casinos got together and put a roof over the street has now become the norm throughout pretty much all of Las Vegas and itâs a way better experience however much you may not like it - itâs still a way better experience - itâs a lot more fun and can be actually less expensive on some levels though itâs still expensive. It is not as seedy as it used to be and it is waaay more friendly with the mob vibe pretty much gone or hidden away.

Dreams are practically non-existent - for several years at least not one. And it is not the maintenance of awareness - this is not a doing.

It reminds me of Descartes famous line: Cogito/Sum Awareness/I Am It was not âI think therefore I amâ (cogito, ergo sum) It was the spontaneous Awareness of: Cognition - I Exist

Larry Harvey passed away last year and so it was a special year - he was a friend. John Law made it to the playa this year - also a friend though I missed him there - they were/are the founders of Burning Man. It is a lot less wild than it used to be back in the early 90âs when I first attended. Iâve never had to pay to attend - always been invited - the costs are quite high now and the crowd has changed considerably because of it. Less rowdy - very intelligent - my camp had 2 NYT Best selling authors, MDâs, one person sold over 20 million videos. We used to have a Mobil Radiology Lab - UNR took that over. We had 3 art cars - I enjoy driving the Angler Fish! (Iâm the guy in the tie dye) Weather this year was perfect - not very hot Art was excellent Cannot find 80,000 people smiling more than at Burning Man We did not have any military at our camp this year - in the past weâve had generals and special ops. They participant as well as play with cell tower stuff and basically observe how 80,000 people can have a good time in very extreme circumstances for a short time with all temporary quick setup. We did have some famous military spooks here and there - but they just came for fun. Enjoyed the electric bikes we had! Got into the huge music more than before - the bass went completely through me - I think a few days of that and I would have no hearing left but all the plaques in my body would have dissolved! We were the Piano Bar Complete with a Piano Art Car that raised up 20+ feet in the air - I was one of the drivers known for clarity of mind (basically I was sober and drug free) We also had the Angler Fish and the Pyramid Car. Hugh main camp with at least 6 converted Greyhounds and a bunch of other stuff including a bar on top of one of them. Though it was smaller than a few years ago when we had a massive Dome - the original Thunder Dome. Was invited to come back and speak again next year in the main center tent - that was fun and unplanned! Everything was unplanned - did not get invited until well into the summer! Last time I was flown in to the Playa Port - this time took the commuter bus from Reno - really had a great time in the commuter bus - everyone was from another country sitting next to me - the conversation was wonderful and the energy was superb! During the day I mostly took pictures and rode around and just went into camps that caught my attention and sat and talked and got to know them - or I just explored them and in some cases just sat and closed my eyes. Met some very nice people at the various camps offering free coffee or water or drinks or whatever. One camp with a big line offered a large dome that was air conditioned, Iâm not sure what else they offered but they had lines and I rarely do lines when I donât have to. Several people wanted me to do photo shoots - I only did ones that were impromptu - lots of fun. We had group dinners and the cooks were rotated from within the camp - plenty of vegan fair as about half the camp was vegan. This year we had rehydration IVâs - that was a new and unnecessary addition but it was there - camp members sitting with a bag attached to them in the shade of a bus. (I took a pass on that) On Sunday they burn the Temple and it is as big as the big burn but hauntingly silent with lots of tears. First time I had experienced it - quite a few on drugs and further over the top than they looked. Several times I went to the big tent to buy a coffee but could never pay - someone in front of me had already prepaid - nice Overall a very spiritual crowd with its share of ecstasy and other mixes - I went by the playa name of Spotless and it was a hit - many people kept coming up to me here and there remembering my name and my tie dye - that was fun - made the whole thing smaller and more intimate. The Burn is now in complete full scale operation one week prior to the burn - it used to be that the crowed swelled on Thursday and Friday - went nuts until Sunday and was almost gone by Sunday night. I arrived on the Monday before the burn and had already missed several large events - the place was packed and roaring! I mostly survived on water, coffee, trail mix and some breakfast microwave âegg McMuffin type things and then group dinner. Almost but not entirely vegan - I felt ok throughout. In the old days hand beaten drums ran 7/24 and when you left camp you could still hear them in you for several days - that element is no longer part of the camp experience. If I am invited again I will go and probably take my son - heâs 12 now and loved the photoâs I was sending back. One of the big heads of the whole operation is a friend and former crew member on one of my sailboats from years ago - she has kids and they can probably get together. There we a fair number of kids though you could tell - they were all a bit blown away by the experience. Many of the big art displays are exquisite - it is not in any way or shape a big waste of time or money or anything - it levels the playing field to - enthusiasm - freedom - bigness - and - drop the pretense and Be. It has become a rich persons play date but so have the Renaissance fairs and other big venues - rock concerts cost a fortune and to go skiing at a resort is about $150+ a day - so itâs not impossible but it favors those that have money and time to enjoy it. But I did meet plenty of people that did not seem to have much more than the ability to volunteer and get in for free that way- and they have tons of such openings - then you just need a tent and food and water - or a camp to stay at.

Hello! I am interested in any guidelines you can post here from ashrams, meditation centers, (Eastern type) monasteries, The kind of guidelines you might find in a "Welcome to the Yin Yan Monastery" Please read the following guidelines before entering the main buildings. You are expected to know and understand these guidelines and if you have any questions or if you are from the media please contact: Lilian Johnson at the reception desk or call 888-999-111 ===== If you can post links or whole brochures or complete guidelines that would be excellent - You can leave in all the details or delete particulars if you think that is needed or wanted - I am not interested in contacting the sources but in the content of the guidelines. Also - you may just want to add some "good" idea that you saw in one that you had not thought of. As an example I had never seen this before and thought that - given the space - it was a very good idea - I saw this posted outside all the bathrooms: Shoes required - no bare feet allowed In another one it asked those entering to take a deep breath and collect their space and be mindful of their energy before entering the main halls. In some places they require "modest dress" and outline various un-modest dress that is not as obvious to some such as No Tank Tops, armless shirts, uncovered belly buttons - and many many ask that no perfumes or scents are worn. At one small ashram of nine living quarters the occupants are required to be Vegan. I am not interested in judgements on any of this - just what you have seen and can share - I am trying to put together a data base of guideline material that is out there being used. Thank you in advance for all of your input!

Iâm not sure if this was corrected but the sushumna is not located in this particular central axis as mentioned. The sushumna goes from the base of the spine up and could be said to be in the core of the spine. The two are very very distinct and different. The central Axis is further forward and central as stated - perineum to (again a correction here) just slightly back from center top of head.
