If it's a desktop then you'll be fine. They are beasty and yours came designed for Win 8... Mine's a laptop built for Win7 with "free upgrade" for Win8 (I bought it 2 months prior to release) Lao Tzu say: "Why you put big Windows inside small frame? Idiot"

Well, I don't have a lawn to mow nor a car to wash

I think we all do...at the risk of the mighty friend circle thinking I'm a horrible guy. RE your chain mail comment, interesting. I took part in one of those last week because to me, the outcome was genuinely funny. No one else bothered to participate. Therefore, I don't see why this particular meme should be paid attention to. Just because Will Smith did it? Jeez.

Rule of a game no one volunteered to enter... I'm happy to be thought less of.

That would be amazing to film. Say it aggressively like a WWE wrestler too. I like it

I'm sure it will. Apnoea was killing us!

Best reason I think is that people that do it are giving in to peer pressure/bullying. Why exactly should one be doused with ice for no convincing reason?

We have collectively chosen one that my guitarist suggested- End Begin Simple, with many connotations of infinite cycle of everything Thanks so much for all your suggestions though! I will link you all when the album is done.

I have Win 8.1 on laptop. No touchscreen and 64-bit is a memory eater! So I'm going to recover my Win 7.

Time best spent. She should appreciate it... ...unless she's anything like "Person B" - dum dum daaaaaah!

Sure...I think you need to be British, 25+ with an eye for satire. Many people I know haven't heard of it either. I short, spoof news reporter talks a load of nonsense to 90s pop star and the guy just keeps agreeing because he thinks he is in a deep and meaningful discussion. Thanks for the link, I really like the meaning. Band settles on a name tonight along with their picks. Will let you know the outcome!

Hi all. I watched this last night and thought it was very good. I've been practicing for three and a half years and over the curse, have identified how Taoist the martial art's philosophy is. This documentary explains it all... I see that there are a lot of Bagua and Tai Chi practitioners on here but not many talk about Wing Chun. I'm quite interested in learning more from the Bagua and Tai Chi philosophies too to draw on similarities more than anything. So anyone with anything to say on any Taoist martial arts, please go ahead

Agreed (Not often do I post so bluntly. Feels good!)

Ever seen "Brasseye"? British comedy news-skit type of show. In one scene, lead singer of 90s British pop band Babylon Zoo is interviewed (by a charlatan) and asked if it would ever be possible to write a "spherical song"...in which he answered "yes, I think so" Hilarious!
-
Love that band...big Maynard fan. Simple but smart names as "Apnoea" appears too complicated for people to spell!

Good way of putting it. I care little for the differentiation these days, but that's just me. The "peasant" and "run of the mill person" are everywhere and it does help to not be so segregated.

Ok, over half way through. Freakin' excellent. Can we get some discussion threads going like we with TTC/zhuangzi?

No ethics...just you live in a world where you feel you strike back the way you have been struck. Option B is to leave the life behind, empty your cup and try a new path. Just a choice bro...but if you feel you have "unfinished business", that's how you feel. No one here trying to stop you will succeed if you already feel what you're doing is justified.

And Stosh, what goes on when you type? You always have such eratic font sizes!

Oh good god ... So...facts? Lol

Ok. Fair point... So how about this. A murders B. The cops bring A in for questioning and A denies everything. Are the cops trying to extract the truth, or reality? Surely the truth can only be the only reliable answer of value? Or reality even. Just linguistics suggests "truth" is the right word to use.
-
Yes I see what you're saying. To me, this just confuses matters though. Pedantic yes, and technically correct by definition. But I also argue, on basic communication grounds, that real and true can be deemed virtually the same. And why not E.g "I went to make sure he was ok" Can be answered: "Really?" Or "Are you telling the truth?" Both answers imply the same meaning. As much as I understand your answer, I don't see much value in this (unless dealing with someone that really needs to learn about reality vs illusion - wait, that's what this thread is! Maybe I should butt out haha)

Demo has been up on facebook.com/apnoea for a couple of years. When rebranded, will change the page around and have a lot more proggy, storytelling and mellow sounds to display
-
I reluctantly write the following (as I already know this will open up a new can of worms for everyone to feast on: Reality vs truth. What exactly is the difference to you? By definition (here we go again) they are indistinguishable...

Depends in which context... Dreams, for example, are real to the extent in which you have literal mental (and physical) reactions. Running from imaginary police...probably not a good idea to think they are real. Unless you meant something else entirely...
