This is what I just don't know. Maybe the one I see in the dream (the nasty one) isn't the same one as moving my games. Someone told me once that there were playful spirits in my living room but upstairs needed cleansing! Also, two guests that have stayed over have told me they have felt weird and creeped out staying in my spare room.

This. After uni, I was unemployed for 3 months. "Screw this" I said. I became a freelance/self-employed entertainer. That tax-relief and benefits are incredible when starting out. Just don't work a min eage job for a supermarket etc. Play the game.

To me, it sounded like the OP wasn't able to get too upset about the break up due to the depersonalization. Like the practice had led to apathy more than anything. Hence why I was wondering if she was good to him or not! Also, I am beginning to become a bit concerned why there are so many misinterpetations of Buddhism on the forum...being the "Tao" bums and all. I see more Buddhist terms being flung about carelessly than anything else! Whatever happened to "just being"? Ok, so when we "wake up" to "reality" it is a bit of a shock. So many lose clarity along the way! I just don't get it.

Yes, don't carry on this way! I have been there too but I realised quickly some was a mistake. There are some people that are bad for you...I leant that and having them distanced has only helped me. But close family, if they are good to you especially, need your love. And if the girlfriend was good to you, then poor her for having to put up with you. If she wasn't though, then well, that explains it. I'm being too specific here. Without personality you won't be anything as effective as someone with. Laughter, love and care are the best feelings. Don't lose them!

I hear that. But if I ever do something "illegal", it tends to not be to rebel. It's just because I want to do it and it just so happens to be illegal, for no good reason.

I don't know yet, I haven't been home since I started this thread. We don't have an airing cupboard but drawers with towels in the bedroom and my partner's towel dressing gown hung up on a hook in the bedroom. Games are all downstairs in the living room. Also, do you think there is a connection with this usually happening in April time and/or when I'm ill or tired? I read that entities like to pick on those that are run down as it makes us more vulnerable..

Oh wow. Now that is random!

As you would say "+1" I read this and it gets very good half way through...but even at the beginning, describes his "crash and burn" moment. Apparently there is a revised version out now though. @Under ... Another way to help! Read this if you have to read anything.

Thanx guys. @Unseen_Abilities Feels hostile though. Is there not a chance that they could be "in need" of communicating with me. If not, then I guess they need throwing out! @GrandmasterP ... Same question really...if they are trying to get my attention, is it such a bad thing to talk back? Personally, I would like to know why my games are being hidden. I still haven't found my Tekken Tag 2 lol

Lol. I'm trying not to. Seems to be the other way round!

Oh you've opened up a can of worms there Cap'n!

Now we're getting somewhere As I have said before, your state of mind is your root of the cause. The fact that you still bring this up and refer to it/them as "filth" goes to show that you are controlled by your own judgement of situations. Because you allow yourself to suffer, you suffer. I am not defending the person by any means. But I am telling you that the world is filled with such characters. Your choice is to a) Avoid coming in to contact with such people and or b ) Learn to shut that overriding mind up that is telling you to break down. How you decide to do that is down to you. Breath meditation, or joining a hard martial arts class that go to a bar after training and have a laugh, or joining the army...whatever it is, that's down to you. But if you keep worrying, you won't help yourself. It's your decision...a bold one at that. I just hope you take my advice because it is clear to me what this "problem" really is. And stop calling it a problem. The more you say it is, the more it becomes true. No more spititual mumbo jumbo for you...it's doing you no good. All the best.

I know a world of Clairvoyants...all are climbing the same predatory ladder. It's a dark world where fame and ego overrides everything. EDIT: If they are Clairvoyants at all, that is.

No one can judge you on so little they know. I suppose I cannot judge Siddharta from word-of-mouth either.
-
I've always wondered...Buddha (Siddharta) made a big impact on yhe world. But some legend has it he ditched his parents and pregnant missus to find that "truth". Harsh?

In anything for that matter! @Unseen_Abilities The book "Blink" by journalist Malcom Gladwell might interest you re this.

A balance if all. I say this because if I rely too much on intuition alone, I soon find that that just becomes fantasy, dreams and often self-trickery. It's important to evaluate intuition with logic etc...in the material world anyway. Because that is the tune everyone else is listening to!

I could imagine that being quite annoying. I used to wear a baseball cap every day to look cool. I could never wait to get home, take it off and scratch my head for 30 mins.

Validates Icedude's "I want a diploma" thread. If you ever saw that fiasco in GD.
-
Yeah, the reason we dicuss it is because we're new to it to some degree!

There isn't a "super-like" button. There should be!

Cool. Funny because I was when I introduced myself to Taoism, books lead me to "The Vinegar Tasters" painting - which sells Taosim or Lao Tzu at least to have an opposing (and better/more positive view) than the Buddha. But yes, this is not the first time that I have come to realise that both roads appear to lead to the same place. Is the Taoist philosophy that life is sweet and harmonious? Is the Buddhist philosophy that life is suffering and rebirth should be avoided? Yes to both, as a generalisation. But does a Taoist really believe all is wonderful? Does the Buddhist believe all life is so bad? No...because that cannot be real. A Taoist that can't experience sadness must be a robot. A Buddhist that can't experience happiness as a human must be depressed. Lol
-
Sounds quite like the Buddhist "liberation from suffering" aka enlightenment, also. I guess this is the definition of the Taoist's limitless. In short, by creating divisions, we are putting ourselves in boxes? Yet there is no real reason to do so...
-
Ah, ok I see. Could you elaborate on the person you were in contact with that had been performing them? In what way do you think this could be a factor?
-
I wonder what they want then...and why they are obsessed with my Xbox games lol. Ok, probably not relared to what I'm thinking then!
