From the perspective of one who thinks of themself as themself, the inherentness of emptiness would be unknown, so how is that useful? The inherent nature seems to be being claimed rather than shown.

I don't understand the difference, could you elaborate? Either emptiness reigns or it doesn't?

How much weird stuff do you see in complete darkness?
teknix replied to Owledge's topic in General Discussion
Sounds bad. They might be sucking your juice because you aren't warded? I would imagine up a way to suck their juice and make it into a sheild if I was in that position. -

I can see whatever this mind is capable of imagining. -
Some may most simply say it is the Upper dan tien or UDT, amongst other things.

That's a good start imo, but it isn't deep enough meditation (imo) to observe the above described phenomena, let alone what comes after.

The thoughts don't really exist, and neither does who you think you are. Who you think you are is built with a bunch of thoughts, then the entire scenario becomes a joke.

It wouldn't matter if they didn't have money, imo, because it seems extremely highly unlikely that anyone will ever win.

Hi Jax! I'm curious what comes after releasing all conceptualizations / thoughts to emptiness?

Chocolate, Marijuana, and Anandamide For decades, scientists have been hypothesizing as to what causes chocolate to have such a euphoric feeling after consumption. It was discovered that there are over 300 different chemicals in chocolate (Spadaccini, accessed 10/23/05). Some have suggested that the âfeel goodâ feeling of eating chocolate is a result of the stimulants in chocolate such as theobromine, phenylethylamine, and methylxanthines. Other research has shown that chocolate triggers the production of opioids, which could then lead to the production the âfeel goodâ feelings (Kuwana, accessed 10/23/05). However, another intriguing possibility is a fairly unknown chemical called anandamide. http://faculty.gordon.edu/ns/ch/documents/CH111WritingProjectFall2005.pdf#page=6

Anandamide (arachidonylethanolamide), an endogenous ligand of the cannabinoid receptor, was recently isolated from porcine brain. We report here for the first time on the effect of this ligand on the hypothalamopituitary adrenal (HPA) axis in comparison to that of the plant cannabinoid Î9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Intracerebroventricular injection of anandamide or THC (50 or 150 ”g/rat) increased significantly the serum levels of ACTH and corticosterone in a dose-dependent manner and caused a pronounced depletion of CRF-41 in the median eminence. These data suggest that anandamide parallels THC in activating the HPA axis via mediation of a central mechanism which involves the secretion of CRF-41 http://www.karger.com/Article/Abstract/126646

Anandamide, also known as N-arachidonoylethanolamine or AEA, is an endogenous cannabinoid neurotransmitter. The name is taken from the Sanskrit word ananda, which means "bliss, delight", and amide.[1][2] It is synthesized from N-arachidonoyl phosphatidylethanolamine by multiple pathways.[3] It is degraded primarily by the fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) enzyme, which converts anandamide into ethanolamine and arachidonic acid. As such, inhibitors of FAAH lead to elevated anandamide levels and are being pursued for therapeutic use.[4][5] Paracetamol (or acetaminophen in the U.S.A.) is metabolically combined with arachidonic acid by FAAH to form AM404.[19] This metabolite of paracetamol is a potent agonist at the TRPV1 vanilloid receptor, a weak agonist at both CB1 and CB2 receptors, and an inhibitor of anandamide reuptake. As a result, anandamide levels in the body and brain are elevated. In this fashion, paracetamol acts as a pro-drug for a cannabimimetic metabolite. This action may be partially or fully responsible for the analgesic effects of paracetamol.[20][21] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anandamide URB-597 (0.3â3mg/kg), an anandamide-hydrolysis inhibitor (FAAH enzyme inhibitor), followed by PTZ. URB-597 (1mg/kg) had an anti-convulsive effect, as it increased the threshold for the occurrence of minimal seizures and reduced EEG epileptiform activity. None of the drugs tested altered the tonicâclonic maximal seizure threshold. These data suggest that the effects of CB1 signaling upon seizure activity may depend on how this receptor is activated. Contrary to direct agonists, drugs that increase anandamide levels seem to promote an optimal tonus and represent a promising strategy for treating myoclonic seizures. http://www.epires-journal.com/article/S0920-1211(13)00006-5/abstract

Scholastic Study of the Received Version of the Tao Te Ching.

Chidragon, do you mean a revised version? I'm not sure what is a received version? The version given or acquired? Or has it been edited for consistency (which would be revised)? -

I think that by choosing no ultimate perspective, you are privy to most perspectives without the inherent bias connected through ownership (ego) of said perspective.

It seems that there are many perspectives, and none of them seem to be absolute, you have shown this understanding which I find an admirable trait and one of an open mind.
