  1. The light as a secondary cause illuminates the inner contents of the Kati. This is from my thogal practice group on FB. Everyone here is welcome to join: Dzogchen Thogal Thogal theory and Practice I am writing this as a "quick start" instructional guide that will allow anyone to begin practicing thogal effectively and safely. Thogal means "over the skull", "over the crest". It actually means to arrive instantly without jumping to get there, like a quantum leap. Thogal practice makes it very easy to experience, know and differentiate rigpa from all other mind states, in its purest form. Rigpa is our primordial Buddha Mind that is intrinsically perfect, permanently. Because it's permanent, it's always present. But it is not our experience, rather our experience is other coarser states of mind as content, which are appearing within the space of changeless rigpa awareness. By practicing thogal, rigpa itself becomes its own self-experience. What is experienced is its own penetrating transparency, insightful clarity, wisdoms, and absence of a "me" egoic identity, as well as the absence of the sense of an "external" universe. Eventually the physical body will dissolve into pure Light as the practice comes to perfect fruition. Thogal focuses on the visual apparatus. That means we use our eyes as our path. Traditionally we use the sun by looking towards the sun in early morning and late afternoon. One does not look directly at the sun but slightly underneath it or off to the side, and with sun glasses on. I find using one eye at a time works best. One squints so that the ball of the sun is no longer visible but only a diffraction pattern of colored rays and a background tapestry of circles as though similar to looking at a peacock's feather. Within that diffraction pattern you can see little round spheres that may have little circular rings within them as well. At first they may just look like this but completely round: @ Sample images are posted below. They get larger over time with consistent practice. They are called "thigles" in Tibetan. (Pronounced: teeglay) One then begins to focus on one little sphere by not moving the eyes. You just gaze at it. So do just this much for several sessions. I recommend a safer and easy way to do thogal: Use your iPhone or similar phone with only the black screen. Hold it down toward your waist, angle it so you can look down and see the reflection of the sun. Squint your eyes until the ball disappears into the light refraction and continue as described above. This allows practicing throughout the day, even at noon. But be sure to wear sun glasses. Between the UV absorption in the phone's black glass and your sun glasses, no harmful UV rays should be entering your eyes. It's only the UV rays that damage the eyes. I recommend 20 minute sessions. 10 minutes with each eye. Start with one session per day and add a session later in the day if desired. But practice everyday. The effects will last and are cumulative. If sun is not available you can flip the phone around and use the flashlight feature as though looking at the sun, but no sunglasses are necessary. You can also use an ordinary light bulb. There are specific recommended postures for during thogal practice but I have not found them necessary and Namkhai Norbu stated that once the practice is working the postures are no longer necessary. I have taught dozens of people this approach in my retreats and it works for everyone without exception. Once you are a little familiar wth the inner landscape and can focus on these thigle spheres easily, then while looking at the spheres ask your self "who or what is doing the looking?". "Where exactly is the observer?" Is there a "someone" looking or is there just empty perception?". Also from time to time notice the empty space between the thigle and the place from where you are observing. Notice that completely clear and transparent space. Sense that space behind you and all around you and through you. Also notice your state of inner empty clarity, transparent and vividly awake; from time to time. Pay less attention to the condition of the thigles than to your empty awareness that is looking. After you finish, look closely at various textures and surfaces close up and notice the sharpness of detail. Sometimes you can actually feel the textures by sight alone. Vision will become amazingly clear along with a sense of transparency and absence of selfness. It's this transparency (zangthal) and absence of selfing that transforms the mind completely into its own vivid emptiness. There is nothing to think about or workout. The practice does it all automatically. There are many more aspects to all of this. To learn more and for additional support please join our thogal group here at FB, Dzogchen Thogal. I am posting this on the general Dzogchen group to encourage those interested to practice. There is currently lots of misinformation out there regarding thogal and I would like to keep this technology available in an easy and workable format that can bring infinite benefit to any competent practitioner that wants to learn. There are several lineage authorized books on the open public market now that explain thogal in complete detail. Now the traditional lineage Lamas have allowed these thogal teachings to be propagated broadly for everyone's benefit also out of a fear that these precious teachings may disappear eventually. I received the thogal transmission and practice instructions privately in 1985 through the Yeshe Lama text as presented to me by a Nyingma Lama who was taught by Dudjum Rinpoche. I later received the detailed Bon transmission of Shardze Rinpoche's text "Heart Drops of the Dharmakaya" trekchod and thogal instructions personally from the Bon Menri Lopon. Shardza Rinpoche attained the "rainbow body of light" in the 1930's. Neither of my teachers asked me to keep these teachings secret, nor have I pledged any samaya regarding not sharing any of the Dzogchen teachings with others. Please share your successes and insights in our thogal group as well as your practice issues. I recommend reading my book and gaining familiarity with all the practices in the appendix before commencing thogal practice: "The Natural Bliss of Being", as well as attending one of my thogal retreats. May all beings benefit! Emaho! www.wayoflight.com
  2. If you want to know and "practice" original Dzogchen as it was meant to be presented, please purchase all of Chris's books as displayed on his Amazon page. These are all new first time translations of Dzogchen's most profound and earliest teachings. What you will read is quite shocking and revelatory as the Dzogchen view is brought into clear focus. It cuts to shreds any notion of a "gradual path" or need for practice and effort. Chris has captured the essence in his translations of what Dzogchen was intended to convey; immediate enlightenment and release! May all beings prosper! http://www.amazon.com/Christopher-Wilkinson/e/B00KINMI22
  3. No, I don't. It's different. But we need not concentrate on visions but the state of impersonal rigpa that arises.
  4. I am drilling down on this with Prof. David Germano. Today he told me he is also looking at Mao Shan origins for Nying Thig and thogal also! Interesting coincidence! I wrote him back today: Hi David! I always sensed that the Semde and Nyingthig came from different traditions. Semde may be rooted in non-gradual "sudden" Ati-Marga of the early Pashupata Shaivists that ended up in Kashmir and may be the origin for both Semde and Trika. The Nyingthig has so many unique elements that have no exact counter-parts in Vajrayana or Tantra or Kashmiri Shaivism. I think we are on the right track with the Mao Shan traditions. I shared this also with John Reynolds and Erik Pema Kusang. I can't find an email for Sam Van Shaik, but I have discussed some related thogal topics in the past. I think he originally suggested I contact you regarding Nying Thig origins. What do you know so far regarding Nyingthig origins and development? Kawa Paltseg perhaps? Or? "By the eleventh century, both Bonpos and Buddhists were presenting texts they claimed to have unearthed from the place where those texts had been hidden in the past. Among the earliest Buddhist materials so characterized were the esoteric Nyingtig, or "Heart Sphere", teachings, including the seventeen Atiyoga tantras, which were associated with Vimalamitra, an Indian Great Perfection master invited to Tibet, according to some accounts, by Trisong Detsen in the eighth century. Vimalamitra's Tibetan student, Nyangban Tingzin Zangpo, was said to have concealed these teachings after the master went to China. The discoverer was Neten Dangma Lhungyal (eleventh century), who proceeded to transmit these teachings to Chetsun Senge Wangchuk, one of the first accomplished Tibetan Buddhist yogins, and to others." What do we know about Neten Dangma Lhungyal? Some have said the 17 Tantras etc. appear to be in their original language, Tibetan and are not translations. (?) I have been looking at several early Mao Shan and related translations, but most of the quotes come from Isabelle Robinet: Taoist Meditation: The Mao-Shan Tradition of Great Purity (Suny Series, Toward a Comparative Philosophy of Religions) https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0791413608/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1466169337&sr=8-1Ļ€=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=taoism+mao+shan I look forward to hearing your thoughts! Many Tashi Delegs! Jackson Sent from my iPhone On 17 Jun 2016, at 06:18, Germano, David F. wrote: Dear Jackson hi! Yes I have been reading the mao-shan materials s well what books are you drawing these from? david From: Jackson Peterson <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 8:19 AM To: David Germano > Subject: Origins of Thogal Hi David! Jackson Peterson here. I managed to figure out where Vimalamitra (or whoever) got the ideas and practices for thogal. Please have a read and let me know your thoughts! Thogal and Nying Thig I am now convinced that Vimilamitra learned thogal in China from Taoist masters related to the "Mao-Shan" Taoist lineage. The quotes below from their ancient texts should prove this, besides we know Vimalamitra studied with Shri Singha for twenty years near Wutai Shan in Eastern China, the exact location of many "Mao-Shan" practitioners. This tradition traces itself back to 100 b.c., but became prominent around 300 a.d. Here are a few absolutely amazing quotes regarding thogal thigles that they contemplate: "The precious cauldron (yu ting) is a cavity in the center of the brain... It's left and right sides are linked with the pupils of the eyes by two channels; and it is also connected with the heart. Hence it is said that essential nature is in the heart which manifests through the two eyes." "These deities are not born from embryos like human beings, but are "born from emptiness through transformation" in the celestial spheres. By means of transformation they become breaths, little children, or fully dressed ladies accompanied by maid-servants. The colored breaths condense and metamorphose. Forming and reforming, these fluctuating visions generate themselves in interconnected chains. In this regard, the terms hun-hua or he-hua ("transform by uniting") constantly appear. These deities change and also move about. They constantly frolic, spinning around and moving, throughout the heavens. ....Made from light..." "These expressions, randomly chosen from the texts, are often only a few words in length but imply the presence of specific preliminary exercises. The Chen-kao mentions several of these for example, the exercise of crossing one's hands over the eyebrows to see the sun..." Sunlight surrounds his body and he rises up to the Palace of Universal Yang." In the YĆ¼-i chieh-lin ching, this experience is described in the following way: [The adept] sees in the sun five colors flowing into a halo which reaches his whole body and descends down to his feet. Through concentration, he then makes the five breaths rise up to the top of his skull. Thereupon all of the five colors of the floating halo formed from sunlight penetrate into his mouth. Then a Purple Breath as large as the pupil of the eye spontaneously appears inside this floating cloud made from sunlight. This breath is made up of ten layers and blazes in the middle of the five-colored light. ... "This exercise concludes with the general inflammation of the whole person of the visionary carried to the point of incandescence. As the text says: "[The adept] must make sure that the sun's light sets his whole self ablaze so that, inside, it [the light] spreads up to his intestines and stomach and that, both inside and outside, he feels as if everything is illuminated." Whoever regularly devotes himself to these practices will acquire a "vermillion face," his whole body will be "luminous and shining" or will "radiate an extraordinary light," "the nape of his neck will manifest a rounded brilliance," and he will "illuminate the eight directions.'' Living as long as the sun and moon, he is transported to the stars. In a word, the visionary becomes "light" ... "As the text cited above confirms, Lao-tzu is in this way able "to make himself bright or dark, either to disappear or to be present." According to a hallowed saying, one of the powers commonly promised to the assiduous adept is the ability "when seated, to be present and when standing, to disappear." Thus the faculty of becoming invisible is constantly associated with the power of appearing at will, of extending one's sight, and of "releasing the bridle." "The Shen-chou ching's"Method for Exiting from Being and Entering into Non-Being,Liberating the Body and Escaping by Transformation into Fluid Light" gives the adept, after he has practiced for seven years, the power "to transform his body into seventy-two lights (which alludes to Lao-tzu's seventy-two supernatural marks)'' and "to disappear and appear, to be visible or hidden." From Vimalamitra's biography: "Vimalamitra took heed of Vajrasattvaā€™s advice, hastily returned home to grab his alms bowl and began the journey to China, where he met ŚrÄ« Siį¹ƒha and subsequently studied the Nyingtik for twenty years. "Vimalamitra reportedly concealed four Nyingtik texts in the caves of Samye Chimpu (bsam yas 'chim phu). After thirteen years in Tibet, he returned to Wutai Shan (ri bo rtse lnga) in China and achieved the rainbow body." I found another Chinese text that I first read 38 years ago. It's "The Secrets of Cultivation of Essential Nature and Eternal Life", written by the Taoist master Chao Pi Chā€™en (born 1860). It's an amazing text that describes the entire process for attaining the "body of light", where one's physical body completely dissolves during life, not at death. It's very similar to the "The Secret of the Golden Flower", but with much more detail and with emphasis on out of body travel and dissolution of the physical body: "THE PRECIOUS CAULDRON (yu ting) is a cavity in the centre of the brain (between and behind the eyes) and is the seat of (essential) nature, that is the original cavity of spirit (yuan shen shih or the ancestral cavity, tsu chā€™iao); its left and right sides are linked with the pupils of the eyes by two (psychic) channels; and it is also connected with the heart. Hence it is said that essential nature is (in) the heart which manifests through the two eyes." "...this is the (tsu chā€™iao) cavity in the centre of the brain which is linked with the two eyes and also with the heart. If in spite of this connection the precious light does not manifest at the early stage of practice, it is because the centre of (essential) nature (center of brain) is still closed." "In order to open this centre of (essential) nature the practiser should place an oil lamp in front of him and concentrate his eyes on its flame..." "When the golden light of this immortal seed manifests for the first time before his eyes, the practiser should immediately provide himself with the four necessities such as the required implements, provisions, companions and a quiet place for advanced training. If he is young and has parents and children to look after, he cannot retire to the mountain to train for the breakthrough and final leap over the worldly." He calls the first stage "break through" and the second stage "leap over" with those words translated directly from the Chinese. He also says: "It leads to the complete extinction of all phenomena." "The training should continue no matter how long it takes until the four elements (that make the body) scatter, and space pulverises leaving no traces behind; this is the golden immortal stage of the indestructible diamond-body. This is the ultimate achievement of the training which now comes to an end". Keep in mind that this lineage of teaching is continuous from at least 100 b.c. As attested from dated Taoist texts. The major Mao-Shan texts were written and practiced between 300-400 a.d. It's definitely not a recent reworking of Dzogchen thogal texts. Thogal itself isn't mentioned until after 1000 a.d. in Dzogchen texts. It's completely absent as a technology in original earliest Dzogchen or Nubs Sangye Yeshe would have mentioned it at around 890 a.d. Even the term "break through" didn't exist in earliest Dzogchen texts. Taoists teach at the center of the brain, at the pineal gland, the 'pure awareness' resides. It's called Shen or spirit. It is identical to rigpa as the "son-light" in Dzogchen and has the exact location as the Yangti lamp called the "thigle tongpa dronma". It is also the location in Nying Thig that Longchenpa calls the location of the "nature of mind" as Sem Nyid. As above, they mention the "nature" in the heart radiates up through a channel passing through the center of the brain there splitting into two branches that end at the pupils, through which the various inner "lights" shine out in front of the practitioner. The text further mentions that the eyes are key and that the Shen (rigpa) resides in the eyes. It says the body is completely negative yin energy and only the eyes are the positive yang energy. It says by fully activating the yang of the eyes that the pure yang energy will transform the entire body into pure yang; at which point it dissolves into pure yang light as an immortal Light body. No doubt, Vimalamitra ripped off Taoist Light practices and made them part of Buddhist Dzogchen. The 17 Tantras of Mangagde showcase this new hybrid technology. We also know the 17 Tantras post-date Semde and Longde. It also seems Longde is even closer to the Taoist practices as not all Taoist systems use sunlight, as Longde doesn't use thogal. Wutai Shan was also the home of many Mao-Shan masters. Isn't this exactly the Kati channel in Thogal? "THE PRECIOUS CAULDRON (yu ting) is a cavity in the centre of the brain (between and behind the eyes) and is the seat of (essential) nature, that is the original cavity of spirit (yuan shen shih or the ancestral cavity, tsu chā€™iao); its left and right sides are linked with the pupils of the eyes by two (psychic) channels; and it is also connected with the heart. Hence it is said that essential nature is (in) the heart which manifests through the two eyes." I wondered where the thogal postures came from? Where did Vimilamitra learn them? Here is the final proof that thogal was 100% taken from Taoist practice. The Lion Posture and the Rishi Posture from Taoist yoga, exactly as taught in thogal! They even call it the "lion posture". <image001.jpg> <image002.jpg> Sent from my iPhone
  5. For all those who may be interested in Tibetan Dzogchen and the path of "immediate realization", I have included the Youtube links below from my retreat teachings in Mexico from this month. For more information regarding Dzogchen please ask to join my Facebook group: "Dzogchen Discussion" and visit my website www.wayoflight.net Here are the complete set of five Dzogchen Retreat videos on Youtube: Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Part 4: Part 5: http://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=nmIy9FbBUnk
  6. That was not a typo... I just spelled it completely wrong!j http://vajranatha.com/teaching/Simhamukha.htm

  8. That is not lion posture in my picture. Mine is the thogal posture exactly.
  9. DZOGCHEN & QUANTUM MECHANICS

I have two groups on FB: Quantum Dzogchen and Tao and Dzogchen. You may find some interesting stuff posted!
  10. I recommend joining my "Tao and Dzogchen" group on Facebook. I have lots of details posted there also the photos of the thogal posture of the Rishi and Lion posture from a Taoist source. I modified my comments to say Vimalamitra probably retooled the Taoist thogal type teachings. "Rip-off" was too presumptive. But I think someone knowingly created a false Garab Dorje origin to thogal. By the way, there are very many lies about me posted on Dharma Wheel. I am glad to clarify any of the negative criticisms here, in a neutral playing field. Malcolm's Tibetan Lama teacher told me personally he violated samaya with him as he told him not to post about Dzogchen on the internet. I have no such samaya issues. Statements that Lamas spoke negatively about me were 2nd hand lies. Here is my lineage bio: Hi all! From time to time l am asked if I have any actual training in the traditional Dzogchen lineages. I then each time put together a short "bio" regarding my Dzogchen background. For those curious to know: I have all lineage teachings, lung and practice instructions for Dzogchen Semde, Longde and Mangagde including Yangti from Namkhai Norbu in 1985-1988. I was his private chef for a time and spent much personal time alone with him. He gave me permission to teach Dzogchen Semde. I also received the Dzogchen trekchod and thogal instructions of Shardza Rinpoche directly from the Bon Menri Lopon. I also received the thogal transmission for the Yeshe Lama through Dudjum Rinpoche's lineage. I also received the essential Mahamudra teachings in a practice retreat from the lineage of the Dalai Lama. In 1978 while in Nepal Sabchyu Rinpoche performed the initial empowerment for generation stage practice for the Karma Kagyu personally for me. I received many more transmissions both from Kagyu and Nyinma for gTumo yoga. I received and practiced the tantric sadhanas of Vajrayogini and the Siamukha tradition of Ayo Khandro as well as a Chod practice tradition of Machig Labdron. I received personal instruction from Trungpa Rinpoche in 1979 and others including Kalu Rinpoche and Lama Wangdor in 80's. I attended a retreat with Dr. Trogawa Rinpoche regarding Tibetan medicine in relation to Dzogchen. I have plenty of lineage transmissions! I have been leading retreats all over Europe, North and Central America for almost ten years with hundreds of past attendees.
  11. Here are two thogal postures that are only found in Taoist yoga and thogal. The "lion posture" is unique to thogal practice. But they won't upload...??
  12. What a ridiculous comment Ghost! The Taliban haven't read my book, nor have they watched my videos. They are speaking from uneducated ignorance. Criticism is welcome... and a real discussion could be had as a result. We are not talking about that level of dialogue... we are talking about Taliban self-righteous prejudice..
  13. Yes indeed! The Dharma Taliban have arrived again in full force! These were the same souls that brought you the inquisition and McCarthyism... Incarnation after incarnation they save us from all possible evil and deviation! They are the same ones that enforce the shariat in in Islam and reject, excommunicate and ostracize any that deviate from Papal lineage and its power grip on freedom of speech and innovation. Keep the status quo is their refrain: "Burn the heretics!" And they quote their own dogma to justify their actions! How pathetic! Anyway... I hope some enjoyed my videos... They show what I actually teach and understand... take a look :-)
  14. For those who may have not noticed, I have written a book: "The Natural Bliss of Being", that is my effort to offer all one needs in their quest for "enlightenment" or "Awakening" in one book. The book also contains simple exercises that makes this "insightful shift" available for anyone truly interested. It can be found at Amazon in both paperback and Kindle. Anyone can download Kindle books without a Kindle device. You simply download the Kindle Reader for free. http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Bliss-Being-Jackson-Peterson/dp/1482020173/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391947825&sr=8-1&keywords=the+natural+bliss+of+being
  15. Best advice is to watch all five videos and do the practices along with the videos and see if what is being said makes sense and may even be liberating. Then we have something real to talk about rather than just unfounded opinions... :-)
  16. Yes... People read and hear too much... We learn from practice and experimentation with our own body/minds. We then find what works best for us and progress accordingly. Transmission means: correct instructions. I have received all the correct instructions to practice and realize. And then I share what has been realized not more... only what is known and verified here directly and in experience. I am not one for "magical thinking" like so many who drink the cool-aid are. Tibetan tradition is full of fairy tales and useless magical thinking.. You have to roll up your sleeves and do the work and see what's what for yourself.
  17. That's what's known here in experience and what is transmitted... to others...
  18. I never agreed to any model that requires some kind of "authorization". There are no rules in Dzogchen. This is not like going to a university and ending up getting a degree and authorization to teach. I don't accept the model... However Norbu did tell me I could teach Semde when I asked him about ten years ago. But I don't take orders or seek permissions from Norbu or anyone... I am free of all that. But the issue should be "quality control". That will always be an issue, even when given "permission". Steven Seagal was given permission to teach Dzogchen after he gave a million dollar contribution to I believe was Penor Rinpoche, who then recognized him as a Tulku... Lol...
  19. Here's a brief summary of how I could express what I am attempting to share: Rigpa or Enlightened Awareness is only full-on in moments of Clear Light Mind. "Full-on"means the wisdom aspect is fully present. Clear Light Mind is total transparency without the slightest movement of thought. Any movement of thought is like clouds obscuring ones clear vision into the heavens. What we see in such a case is that exact movement of thought instead of transparent vastness and gnostic insight. Our Primordial Mind is always transparent as clear crystal. When our karmic mind becomes equally still, empty and transparent; its like pouring clear water into clear water. In this two-fold Clarity, Reality reveals its secrets like a flash of lightening in the evening sky; again and again until our Brilliance truly shines, and all shadows are transformed into Light...
  20. Its like this: A Teaching from the Tibetan Great Perfection or Dzogchen from Anum Thubten Selected quotes from Tibetan Dzogchen teacher Anam Thubten: "The highest truth where we are nobody and we have nothing is actually a state of our consciousness that is unconditioned. It is our basic ground; it is the primordial mind. It is the state of reality in which we become nobody and we remain as we are, which is deathless awareness. This is who we are. This is actually our primordial face. The time before we become somebody is called ā€œprimordial timeā€ in the Buddhist tantras. Primordial time means the eternal time of primordial purity, which is not actually time in terms of past, present, or future. It is eternal time; it is everlasting time. In that everlasting time we were, as well as we are, and we will be intrinsically luminous awareness. We were, we are, and we will be an inexhaustible treasure of joy and grace, which is who we really are." "The highest level of meditation is transcendent wisdom, or prajnaparamita. It is a state of pure awareness, a state of luminous consciousness, a state of wisdom in which all notions of reality have been dissolvedā€”birth, death, everything has been transcended. That is the highest level of meditation; that is pure awareness." "To sit actually means to just let everything be as it is, and let the world of ideas, concepts, and sorrow dissolve on its own, which always happens. That is the highest technique." "When we stop and pause for a moment while looking at the present mind, we feel a shift take place. In that moment we feel an amazing dissolution. Every previous notion of reality just dissolves into nothingness and there is the unobstructed, unhindered Buddha mind. We keep residing in that unobstructed, pure, luminous mind, and realize and discover that this pure awareness, this unobstructed present mind, turns out to be a great source of love, turns out to actually be the inexhaustible treasure of enlightenment. It is utterly simple." "When we rest in the present moment, a space reveals itself. It is an inner space that is unoccupied by the cloud of thoughts. Without witnessing that space, it is hard for the mind to see beyond its own interpretation of reality." "Then absolute truth is transparent, immediate, and luminous." "Pure consciousness is not the effect of any cause. If it were the effect of a cause, it would simply be another ordinary thing with a beginning and an end. It is present in each of us, and it is not bound by time or space. It is free from everything and it is present in everyone at this very moment. It is the ground of our being, and who we are in the ultimate sense." "Pure consciousness is not a meditative state. If it were a meditative state, it would be something contrived, that is merely the effect of a cause." But none of these techniques can produce pure consciousness itself since itā€™s already there. Itā€™s always eternally there without any cause. There is not even one single moment when pure consciousness is absent. Even in moments when we are totally lost in the world of concepts and ideas, it is completely present inside of us." Thubten, Anam (2013-05-21). The Magic of Awareness. Shambhala Publications. Kindle Edition.
  21. The "authority" is the result. Transmission doesn't occur through a "some one". It occurs through itself and its uses the most available body/minds that will suit that purpose. What I teach and say arises on its own. I can take no credit. People say what comes out has changed their view of reality completely and relieved their suffering. I am ok with that result... :-)
  22. Exactly right CT! Rainbow Body is a side show. Realizing trekchod is liberation and enlightenment. Trekchod is realizing the Mind of a Buddha... Thogal is realizing the Body of a Buddha. But the state of wisdom is the same...
