I had a very interesting vision this morning. It started out with me being told that there is a licensed Chinese fortune teller doing his business in the NYC Chinatown area. His business hour is Wednesday and he is done by 4 something pm. His name is Dan something. It has something to do with Frankfurt or Frankfurter. I didn't see him. Then, I found myself meditating at the nearby parking garage. Then, I noticed a bright bean of light shinning at me at a distance. Behold, it was a drone. It came to check me out because it detected an explosion in the area. Later, I have more drones surrounding me. I really didn't want to attract too much attentions. In order to disperse these drones, I had to convince them that there were no explosions because there were no wreckage on the ground. What do I have here? A Chinatown, something I don't normally dream of myself to be in. A fortune teller talks about the number 4. In Cantonese, number 4 is synonymous to death. His business hour is Wednesday. Drones connecting to an explosion. Me defusing these drones by telling them that there are no explosions. What else could this mean? Me, myself, having an explosion???

Well, we are still in early Sept but the refugee crisis in EU is catching my attention because......my previous dreams are indicating some sorts of emergency situation and prompted me to become an EMS volunteer ambulance driver. At the moment, these refugees in Hungary are walking to Austria and in the hope to reach Germany. Is a 150km walk. Something bad can happen here. Of course, the refugee crisis will divide the EU while the rest of the EU was preparing the Russian invasion. That's the whole irony of it all in this geopolitical battle between Russia and the EU and the US/Nato. Is not Russia that would divide the EU. Is the refugee crisis. Yet, the entire Europe has no plans, period. They have plenty of plans to defend against the Russian invasion ironically.

Huh.....great....another conspiracy theory by armchair analysts studying FB photos......

For me, it is not possible because I get dreams about world events. Hehehehehe I want to contribute to promote peace as much as I can. I can't do that if I am shut off from the real world. I consider my enlightened and to have achieved certain level of realization. So, I believe that my wisdom and understanding, hopefully, can illuminate years of ignorance and darkness..with a single thought. That's the power of the Dharma wisdom after all.

Kill the ego. Kill the system of thoughts or social paradigms embedded in this ego. Not only your emotional attachment would be gone. So as other emotional attachments. We are talking about relationship, right? Why you were in this relationship in the first place? Social pressure? Social expectations? Go from there. If you don't kill this system of thoughts, it will manifest itself again with another person. You are trying to seek healing in another person, which is as same as switching your attachment to another person. Nothing changed.

Well, there was another explosion in another plant on Monday, US time, or Tuesday in China time. Regardless, in the dream, I didn't see an explosion, which is a good thing. It was me convincing these drones that there were no explosions. Not sure what that meant. Is possible that all the security measures employed by the Chinese govt before the parade may have prevented another disaster. It was a good show. Unfortunately, some of the foreign troops there...they looked horrible and a sorry sight.

They were accidentally created by the West? Yes. With the middle east politics, it is always about supporting the opposition in order to topple your enemies. In the process, you create a new monster, Saddam Hussein and the Al Queda are pretty much created by the West. The ISIS is also secretly funded and supported by Turkey. When the Kurds were slaughtered by the IS, Turkey didn't intervene at all. In fact ,right now, Turkey is bombing the Kurds and the PKK party under the pretense of fighting the IS. Ultimately, Turkey wants to topple the Assad regime. Ironically, it has been the Assad regime, backed by Iran, who is fighting against ISIS. Well, is the middle east politics here. If the ISIS is fake, who are these people and countries fighting against so far????

Oh, forgot to mention....Wednesday in the US is Thursday in China, which is 9/3, the same day for the Chinese WWII victory parade!!!!! We don't know what causes the blast in the Tinjin city. It could be the result of terrorism. So, any large chemical storage sites near to any major Chinese cities can be targeted. This Wednesday or Thursday in China could be the prefect timing for another explosion.

In the dream, I sensed no anxieties. I would call it the dream of clarity in which I am just receiving information. One thing that annoyed the crap out of me is that I was the center of the drone's attentions.. I was about to attack these drones. Then, I stopped like I have realized the message they were holding. These drones appear as light in my dream. Seeing light in dreams can be a good thing especially for cultivator. Is the nimitta light being manifested and transformed. Normally, I won't worry but 1 month ago, in the dream, I saw myself volunteering to be an EMS worker driving the ambulance. There was a time frame for that too...supposedly around early Sept. There are several world events that I am deeply following....the Ukrainian crisis with Russia. Long story...I was experiencing precognitive visions dealing with the crisis and even up to the burning of the Odessa building and killing over 100 people there. Whatever it is, there drones were drawn to me because there was an explosion. Was I being exploded? Didn't sense any energy surge in me and my mind was calm. In the dream, I treated the idea of explosion very literally too.

After all, the Tao can be named is not the Tao...heheheh....

If you concern about the political and social aspects of the Chinese culture, you should study Confucianism instead. Confucianism is conservative and feudal, fyi. Taoism is more about one's existentialism in relation to nature. You should know by now that I don't have to read every single Taoist text to know and to realize the Tao....because the realization happens in my dreams and in my meditations. Gosh...is he a Taoist? Has he realized the Tao through his cultivation? Is another aspect of Taoism you have gotten it wrong. One can not be a Taoist or an expert in Taoism just because they can read the Taoist text. His mind needs to realize the Tao. He has to cultivate. He has to circulate the Chi!!!!! I can say one thing. 90% of the Taoist teaching essence is from the cultivation process and internal alchemy alone, and through the lineage transmission.

Better yet...to practice Taoism and to cultivate the mind to realize the Tao. Tao can not be defined and can not be named. Hence, the title of this thread has already become non-Tao.

Your life's habitual energy dictated by your life karmas. Unresolved life issues. In some brute sense, it can be your animal, sexual instincts. Supposedly, in your death bardo experiences, your sex instincts become very strong.

You only have the luxury of Shen if you are an accomplished cultivator. Otherwise, your mind is plagued by instincts at the moment of your death bardo experience. Your rebirth would be solely determined and immediate and caused by your immediate karma. What you care and what you want is irrelevant because enlightenment does not come just because you care and you want it...

Poor thing....sambhogakaya beings are drawn to you by karmic affinity. The same reason they don't manifest themselves in Iraq or in America is probably the same reason why they don't manifest themselves to you. The IS war in Iraq is the result of the America's war on Iraq more than 10 years ago. Islamic extremists are hardly the type receptive to teaching of the Dharma. When the mind is close, there is no enlightenment.

Correct...just because your mind isn't responsible for one existence, it does not mean the other existence isn't the product of the mind, of another mind. For an example, a pen is not a pen until someone decides to make a pen. Sure, you didn't manufacturer a pen but it does not mean the pen is real and to exist independent of a conscious mind. For the OP, it is important to have a healthy body, energetic system for the purpose of sustaining the mind to reach enlightenment. So, a well connected, freely open chakra system is important. If not, you would spend your whole life in thinking that your mind is the master of itself and the body. In fact, your body is the master, not your mind...because your body gets sick and eventually dies, so as your mind. A highly accomplished cultivator should know when to die and how to die. Its mind should never be caught by surprises from the body.

Only if you don't know what enlightenment is. Those who are on the path and have some slight experiences relating to a possible enlightenment...they know what enlightenment is. First, the mind must be able to enter into a samadhi. That is, your mind must be able to penetrate into the nature of mind and the reality of mind via some mystical, meditative experiences and results. The Samadhi experience CAN NOT be a mind game or some contrived understanding. When it happens, you would know it. The difference here is that different cultivators on their own paths may experience to a various degree of absorption levels. Some can remain in this Samadhi, jhana absorption levels for a longer period than others. If you haven't obtained any results from your meditation, is hard to talk about what is enlightenment....because you don't even know where is the gate or the entrance to enlightenment.

Right, you can not liberate all sentiment beings in one life time. So, another rebirth is called for and in order.... Of course, we are talking about a rebirth in the next eon, not the immediate, next rebirth....

Wait a minute, I thought all Arhats are Bodhisattva. The difference is the vehicle in which the cultivator chooses to realize his or her enlightenment. The Arhat is the Theravada Buddhism ideal in which the study and the intellectualization of the suttas are the means to realize enlightenment. We are talking about monks. In the samyaksamkaya and Pratyeka paths, the cultivator obtains enlightenment on his or her own efforts without teachers...when the time of the Dharma teaching is lost. We are talking about other mortal beings became highly realized celestial beings, but not through the Buddhist monk community....like the Chinese 8 Taoist immortals. Beings managed to realize enlightenment by pondering and realizing the 12 dependent origination of suffering within its historical time frame and its own historical content. Their enlightenment is historical in context and derived from the social and historical substances of their own lives. In the Mahayana path, the cultivator chooses to realize enlightenment only when he or she has saved and liberated all sentiment beings from suffering.

The problem is that his philosophy revolves around the almighty ego which can rationalize everything (we can all see this here with this logic this and logic that)...this including the free will. That is, the ego thinks it is acting on free will to choose to do good or evil but in reality, the ego isn't free. As I have pointed out, your free will is only limited by the resource you have to make choices in life.

Free will???? Sigh....I will assure you that your free will is only as free as the size of your bank account and the amount of education you have. If you are dirt poor and not so bright, your free will is pretty much limited. You are free to either get govt helps or working in a min wage job. If you are rich and rolling in mad money and have plenty of social connections, you can do anything you want. Even buying your way out of jails. Hehehehehehe..... Please, stop throwing these words around...think before you write. Gosh..... Basis of morality? What is that, may I ask??? Free will? If you are free to kill and to murder, that makes you a moral person???? Seriously, I am like huh.......
